 AVE. & 1013 N. RAILROAD AVE. THE SHEET A-1 SHOWS WHAT
 APPEARS A 4 HOUR WALL BETWEEN PROPERTIES OWNED BY THE
 SAME OWNER WITH OPENINGS IN THE FIRE WALL. I CANNOT
 FIND WHERE THERE WAS A PERMIT PULLED FOR THE CURRENT
 CONFIGURATION OF WALLS (FIREWALL). IN 1998 UNDER
 98007817 THIS SPACE WAS A BAKERY AND WHERE THE 4 HOUR
 FIRE WALL STANDS THERE WAS A VERY LARGE PROOF ROOM.
 I?VE SPOKEN WITH THE ARCHITECT NADER GOUBRAN ABOUT THE
 FIRE WALL. HE INDICATED THE LAWYER FOR HIS CLIENT WAS
 SUPPOSED TO HAVE FILED A UNITY OF TITLE, THIS WILL NEED
 TO BE VERIFIED THROUGH THE CITY SURVEYOR VINCE NOEL.

 WOULD APPEAR THERE HAS BEEN A LOT OF WORK ALREADY
 COMPLETED WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF A PERMIT. A THOROUGH
 REVIEW CANNOT BE MADE AT THIS TIME, AS A RESULT OF THE
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUESTED ADDITIONAL COMMENTS
 MAY APPEAR THAT WERE NOT PART OF THIS REVIEW. WORK

 LIFE SAFETY PLAN THAT THERE ARE 4 EXITS FROM THE
 BUILDING AND 3 ACCESSIBLE, NOT TRUE, THERE IS ONLY 1
 EXIT FROM THE BUILDING AND 1 ACCESSIBLE EXIT WITH THE
 EXTERIOR RAMP. ON THE WEST SIDE OF THE ART MERCANTILE
 AREA THERE ARE 2 NEW EXIT DOORS SHOWN ON THE PLAN AND
 LEADING TO THE EXISTING CORRIDOR. NEVER PERMITTED WILL
 NEED TO BE MADE LEGAL OR REMOVED.
 THE SECOND ISSUE WITH USING THIS SPACE EITHER AS A EXIT
 ACCESS CORRIDOR OR A EXIT PASSAGE WAY IS IT IS NOT
 ENCLOSED AT THE END, IT LEADS FROM THE INSIDE TO THE
 EXTERIOR WITHOUT A DOOR.
 THE WORST PROBLEM WITH THIS IS THE NEW EXIT CORRIDOR
 LEADS YOU RIGHT BACK TO THE MAIN ENTRY/ EGRESS, THERE
 IS NO REMOTENESS AS REQUIRED UNDER ;
 2014 FBC-B 1015.2.1. WHERE TWO EXITS OR EXIT ACCESS
 DOORWAYS ARE REQUIRED FROM ANY PORTION OF THE EXIT
 ACCESS, THE EXIT DOORS OR EXIT ACCESS DOORWAYS SHALL BE
 PLACED A DISTANCE APART EQUAL TO NOT LESS THAN ONE-HALF
 OF THE LENGTH OF THE MAXIMUM OVERALL DIAGONAL DIMENSION
 OF THE BUILDING OR AREA TO BE SERVED MEASURED IN A
 STRAIGHT LINE BETWEEN EXIT DOORS OR EXIT ACCESS
 DOORWAYS.
 SHEET A1 I MEASURES FROM THE SOUTHEAST CORNER TO THE
 NORTHWEST CORNER IN MILLIMETERS. THE OVER ALL
 MEASUREMENT WAS 420 MM. THE 2 WEST DOORWAYS DO NOT MEET
 THE REMOTENESS BECAUSE THEY LEAD YOU BACK TO THE MAIN
 ENTRY. THE ONLY OTHER EXIT IS FOUND ON THE EAST SIDE OF
 THE BUILDING WITH A NEW RECESSED EXIT DOOR TO THE
 EXTERIOR. SINCE THIS IS A NON- SPRINKLERED BUILDING WE
 USE ? OF THE OVERALL DIAGONAL OR 210 MM TO DETERMINE
 REMOTENESS. MEASURED FROM THE CENTERLINE OF THE DOUBLE
 DOORS SOUTH EXPOSURE TO THE NEW PROPOSED DOORWAY IT IS
 ONLY 180 MM AWAY, THIS LOCATION DOES NOT MEET THE
 REMOTENESS TEST.
 WITH THE DOORWAY NOT MEETING THE REMOTENESS TEST THE
 ACCESSIBLE LULA LIFT CAN NOT BE COUNTED AS AN
 ACCESSIBLE EXIT.
  
 8) 2ND REQUEST. THE COVERSHEET INDICATES THE OCCUPANT
 LOAD OF 378 AND SHEET A-1 SHOWS 4 EXITS AND 3
 ACCESSIBLE EXIT. PLEASE REVIEW SECTION:
