 PLANS. SHEET LS- 1. THE ORIGINAL BUILDING CODE ANALYSIS
 INDICATES THIS 20 STORY BUILDING BEING CLASSIFIED AS
 BUILDING TYPE I-A. THE SUBMITTED SHEET A-6 DETAIL
 INFILL DETAIL FLOOR FRAMING @ FLOOR 20, SHOWS THE USE
 OF 2 X 6 PRESSURE TREATED FRAMING MEMBERS, FLOOR
 SUBFLOOR NOR FINISH FLOOR DECK IS NOT MENTIONED. THE
 2014 FBC-B TABLE 601 NOR SECTION 603.1 ALLOWABLE
 COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS IN TYPE I BUILDINGS NOR FIRE
 RETARDENT TREATED MATERIALS ARE ALLOWED AS FLOOR
 FRAMING MEMBERS OR FLOOR CONSTRUCTION OR SECONDARY
 MEMBERS. PLEAASE PROVIDE A STRUCTURAL FRAME AND
 NON-COMBUSTIBLE FLOOR SYSTEM FOR THE INFILL FLOOR AREA
 ON THE 20TH FLOOR.
  
 2) THERE IS ANOTHER AREA OF CONCERN, THE PLANS DRAWN BY
 BOWDOIN HUTCHINSON INDICATE THIS ELEVATOR WILL REQUIRE
 A 1 3/4 INCH RECESS IN THE 18TH FLOOR SLAB, PLEASE
 PROVIDE WHAT TYPE OF SLAB THIS IS AND HOW WILL THE
 RECESS BE CREATED? WILL THIS ALSO AFFECT THE FLOOR FIRE
 RATINGS ON THIS FLOOR? 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
 IS REQUIRED.
  
 3) THE THIRD AREA OF CONCERN IS THE UNKNOWN WALL SYSTEM
 THAT IS BETWEEN THE STAIRS AND THE NEW PROPOSED
 ELEVATOR THAT THE ELEVATORS RAIL SYSTEM WILL BE
 ANCHORING INTO. THIS WALL SYSTEM APPEARS TO RISE 3
 FLOORS WITHOUT ANY HORIZONTAL SUPPORT. THE INFIL DETAIL
 FOUNDL ON SHEET A6 SHOWS JUST A COLUMN SIZE NOT KNOWN,
 NOR THE OTHER MEMBERS THAT MAKE UP THIS WALL. 107.2.1.3
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.

 PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE,
 CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION 110.3.7.5 NO ENFORCING AGENCY
 MAY ISSUE A BUILDING PERMIT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF ANY
 THRESHOLD BUILDING EXCEPT TO A LICENSED GENERAL
 CONTRACTOR, AS DEFINED IN SECTION 489.105(3)(A),
 FLORIDA STATUTES, OR TO A LICENSED BUILDING CONTRACTOR,
 AS DEFINED IN SECTION 489. 105(3)(B), FLORIDA STATUTES,
 WITHIN THE SCOPE OF HER OR HIS LICENSE. THE NAMED
 CONTRACTOR TO WHOM THE BUILDING PERMIT IS ISSUED SHALL
 HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUPERVISION, DIRECTION,
 MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL OF THE CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
 ON THE PROJECT FOR WHICH THE BUILDING PERMIT WAS
 ISSUED.

 BUILDING" MEANING ANY BUILDING WHICH IS GREATER THAN
 (3) STORIES OR 50 FT. IN HEIGHT, OR WHICH HAS AN
 ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION AS DENIED IN THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE WHICH EXCEEDS 5,000 SQ. FT. IN
 AREA AND AN OCCUPANT CONTENT OF GREATER THAN 500
 PERSONS.
  
 3A) 109.3.6.1 THRESHOLD INSPECTION PLAN. THE ENFORCING
 AGENCY SHALL REQUIRE A (WRITTEN/ TYPED) SPECIAL
 INSPECTOR TO PERFORM STRUCTURAL INSPECTIONS ON A
 THRESHOLD BUILDING PURSUANT TO A STRUCTURAL INSPECTION
 PLAN PREPARED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD. THE STRUCTURAL
 INSPECTION PLAN MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE ENFORCING
 AGENCY PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF A BUILDING PERMIT FOR
 THE CONSTRUCTION OF A THRESHOLD BUILDING. THE PURPOSE
 OF THE STRUCTURAL INSPECTION PLAN IS TO PROVIDE
 SPECIFIC INSPECTION PROCEDURES AND SCHEDULES SO THAT
 THE BUILDING CAN BE ADEQUATELY INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE

 ARE REQUIRED TO BE FILED OUT BY ALL PARTIES WITH
 INTEREST, NOTARIZED AND RETURNED TO THIS OFFICE, AND
 REVIEWED AND APPROVED BEFORE PERMIT ISSUANCE WILL TAKE
 PLACE.
  
 3C) THRESHOLD BLDG., REQUIRED STATEMENT: W.P.B.
 AMENDMENT 110.3.7.4.4 ALL PLANS FOR THE BUILDING WHICH
 ARE REQUIRED TO BE SIGNED AND SEALED BY THE ARCHITECT

 BEST OF THE ARCHITECT'S OR ENGINEER'S KNOWLEDGE, THE
 PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS COMPLY WITH THE APPLICABLE
 FIRE-SAFETY STANDARDS AS DETERMINED BY THE LOCAL
 AUTHORITY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION AND 633
 FLORIDA STATUTE.
  
 3D) FOR THE SPECIAL INSPECTOR PLEASE PROVIDE A RESUME'
 OF INSPECTION EXPERIENCE ON PREVIOUS PROJECT. THE
 RESUME' MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ALL CERTIFICATES AS
 SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OR HIS DESIGNEE
 WILL REVIEW THE RESUME'. AFTER THE RESUME' IS REVIEWED,
 AN INTERVIEW WILL BE SCHEDULED. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES
 WILL AN INSPECTOR BE INTERVIEWED FOR WORK WITHOUT FIRST
 MEETING THE ABOVE CRITERIA.
  
 3E) THE CONTRACTOR WILL PRODUCE A JOB SUMMARY OR
 HISTORY FOR THIS TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION.
  
 3F) NOTE FOR PAPER PLANS 3 SETS OF DOCUMENTS ARE
 REQUIRED. FOR DIGITAL PLANS, AFTER PERMIT ISSUANCE,
 PLEASE E-MAIL THE PERMIT LIBRARIAN OF THE PERMIT BEING
 ISSUED, THE PERMIT LIBRARIAN WILL THEN E-MAIL YOU THE
 APPROVED AND BATCH STAMPED PLANS SO YOU MAY PRINT YOUR
 PLANS, TWO SETS OF PLANS WILL NEED TO BE PRINTED IN
 COLOR, (1) FOR THE THRESHOLD INSPECTOR, THE OTHER FOR
 THE MEP INSPECTORS OTHER PLANS YOU WISH TO PRINT MAYBE
 IN BLACK & WHITE..
 2010 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 110.3.7 THRESHOLD
 BUILDINGS, GUIDELINES AND POLICIES FOR PROJECTS
 CONCERNING SPECIAL INSPECTORS.
  
 3G) 110.3.7.4.3 ALL SHORING AND RESHORING PROCEDURES,
 PLANS AND DETAILS SHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE ENFORCEMENT
 AGENCY FOR RECORDKEEPING. EACH SHORING AND RESHORING
 INSTALLATION SHALL BE SUPERVISED, INSPECTED AND
 CERTIFIED TO BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE SHORING
 DOCUMENTS BY THE CONTRACTOR.

 4) THE 8 1/2 X 11 INCH DRAWINGS SUBMITTED FROM
 SOUTHEAST ELEVATOR SHOW A 1 3/4 INCH RECESS IN THE
 SLAB. THE DESIGNER OF RECORD WILL ALSO NEED TO
 ENCORPORATE HOW A 1 3/4 INCH RECESS OR FLOOR TRANSITION
