 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.) FOR IMPACT FEES ASSESSMENT.
 BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF
 THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
 NOTE: THIS MAY BE DONE LATER WHEN ALL THE TRADES ARE
 APPROVED AND THE PERMIT IS READY FOR ISSUANCE.
  
 2- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R101.4.3 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION, 5TH EDITION
 (2014).
  
 3- ARCHITECT TO PROVIDE PARTIAL PLAN SHOWING THE ROOMS
 ADJACENT TO THE PROPOSED ADDITION AND SHOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH THE BEDROOM EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. 704
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING, 5TH EDITION (2014). CLEARLY
 IDENTIFY EACH ROOM ON THE FLOOR PLAN.
 NOTE: BASED ON CITY RECORDS, IT LOOKS LIKE THERE MAY BE
 NO EGRESS WINDOWS FOR EXISTING BEDROOM LOCATED ON THE
 NORTH EAST CORNER.
  
 4- PROPOSED WINDOWS FOR NEW BEDROOMS #1 AND #2 DON'T
 SEEM TO COMPLY WITH THE EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC.
 R310.1.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. IT LOOKS LIKE THE PROPOSED
 WINDOW DON'T HAVE THE 24" CLEAR HEIGHT. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED SHOWING COMPLIANCE AND PROVIDE MANUFACTURER'S
 SPECS SHOWING THE MIN. CLEAR DIMENSIONS.
  
 5- SPECIFY ATTIC ACCESS LOCATION AND SIZE FOR THE
 PROPOSED ADDITION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R807
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 6- WALL SECTION ON SHEET A.4: SPECIFY SIZE AND SPACING
 OF ROOF VENTILATION AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R806
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 7- SHEET A.3:
 A) WIND NOTE #5 ON THE TOP MIDDLE OF DRAWING SPECIFIES
 BUILDING EXPOSURE "B". ACCORDING TO SEC. R301.2.1.4
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED IN EXPOSURE
 "C" NOT "B". REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 B) ROOF SHEATHING NOTE ON THE MECHANICAL FASTENER
 SCHEDULE SPECIFIES 8D RING SHANK NAILS AND 10D COMMON
 NAILS. SEC. R803.2.3.1 REQUIRES MIN. 8D RING SHANK
 NAILS. PROVIDE ENGINEERING ANALYSIS SHOWING THAT THE
 ALTERNATE ROOF SHEATHING SPECIFICATIONS USING 10D NAILS
 AT SPECIFIED SPACING ARE EQUAL OR BETTER THAT THE ROOF
 SHEATHING NAILING PATTERN USING 8D RING SHANK NAILS OR
 REMOVE ALTERNATE NAILING PATTERN.
  
 8- VALUE DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO LOW.
 VALUE TO INCLUDE ALL THE LABOR, MATERIALS AND
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT (EVEN FOR
 OWNER/BUILDERS) AND ALL DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS. VALUATION WAS
 UPDATED TO +/- $70,000. THE PERMIT FEE BALANCE IS
 $1843.51.
  
 9- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 A) ALL WINDOWS AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS.
  
 B) EXTERIOR DOOR AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS.
  
 C) ROOF SHINGLES AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS.
  
 D) WINDOW MULLIONS AS SHOWN ON PLANS. NOTE: CLEARLY
 SPECIFY AND MARK MULLION SIZE TO BE INSTALLED TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES.
  
 E) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS. PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER
 PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR
 ARCHITECT TO LIST THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL NEXT TO
 EACH SPECIFIED CONNECTOR.
  
 F) HURRICANE SHUTTERS IF WINDOWS AND DOORS WITH GLAZING
 DON'T HAVE IMPACT GLASS. NOTE: AND PROVIDE COMPLETE
 HURRICANE SHUTTERS INSTALLATION SCHEDULE. SEE CITY
 SAMPLE.
  
 10- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.

 COMMENT TO HELP EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
 ****PLEASE INSERT ANY REVISED DRAWING AND REMOVE OLD
