 CHECKLIST.
 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- THE VALUE OF THE IMPROVEMENT IS MORE THAN $300.000.
 NEED TO COMPLY WITH THE ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS
 ACCORDING TO SEC. 708.8 OF FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE,
 5TH EDITION (2014). SHOW COMPLIANCE.
  
 RESPONSE: REPEAT COMMENT.
 A) NEED TO PROVIDE MORE DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF HOW THE
 CORNERS OF THE BUILDING ARE GOING TO BE STRAPPED.
 CLEARLY IDENTIFY SPECIFIC STRAPS TO BE INSTALLED AND
 NUMBER OF STRAPS AND NAILS PER CORNER TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE UPLIFT LOADS AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 708.8.1 FBC- EXISTING BUILDING. PROVIDE COMPLETE SKETCH
 SHOWING PROPOSED STRAPPING ON EACH CORNER OF THIS
 BUILDING. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 NOTE: ESTIMATED VALUE TO STRAP EACH CORNER SEEMS TO BE
 HIGH. PROVIDE A DETAILED BREAKDOWN OF THE SCOPE OF WORK
 REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THE ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS TO
 JUSTIFY THE ESTIMATED VALUE OF $1000 PER CORNER.
