 OPERABLE PARTS SEE THE 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE

 OBSTRUCTED HIGH REACH.
 308.3 SIDE REACH. / 308.3.1 UNOBSTRUCTED/ 308.3.2
 OBSTRUCTED HIGH REACH.
  
 1B) 309 OPERABLE PARTS
 309.3 HEIGHT. OPERABLE PARTS SHALL BE PLACED WITHIN ONE
 OR MORE OF THE REACH RANGES SPECIFIED IN 308.
 309.4 OPERATION. OPERABLE PARTS SHALL BE OPERABLE WITH
 ONE HAND AND SHALL NOT REQUIRE TIGHT GRASPING,
 PINCHING, OR TWISTING OF THE WRIST. THE FORCE REQUIRED
 TO ACTIVATE OPERABLE PARTS SHALL BE 5 POUNDS (22.2 N)
 MAXIMUM.
  
 2) SHEET A4.0.1 DETAIL # 2 & 3 THE RECEPTION DESK,
 COUNTERTOP, FINISH ELEVATION IS GIVEN TO BE 3 FOOT 8 ?

 3) SHEET A1.1.1 AT DOOR # 801 SHOWS THE PROPOSED NEW
 CORRIDOR WALL TO BE A 1 HOUR FIRE RATED WALL AND THE
 NEW TENANT DOOR TO BE 45 MINUTE RATED. IT WOULD APPEAR
 THAT THE BUILDING STANDARD IS TO MAINTAIN THE 1 HOUR
 FIRE RATING WHICH IT WAS BUILT UNDER OR THE DESIGNER
 PREFERENCE SINCE IT IS CALLED OUT TO BE A 1 HOUR RATED
 WALL. SHEET A.2.0.1. DOOR SCHEDULE DOOR # 800 IS SHOWN
 TO BE A HERCULITE ALL GLASS DOOR WITH A WATER CURTAIN
 ON BOTH SIDES. PLEASE NOTE WATER CURTAINS ARE NOT
 ALLOWED ON DOORS, THE ONLY TIME YOU SEE THE USE OF A
 WATER CURTAIN IS IN SECTION 404.6 OF THE FBC-B THIS
 SECTION DEALS STRICTLY WITH ATRIUM SEPARATION AND THE
 GLAZING NEEDING TO BE A GASKETED FRAME, IN A GLASS
 WALL.
  
 4) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
