 MARSHAL, WITH THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
  
 1) SHEET A 201 - THERE IS CONFUSION AS TO WHAT THIS
 PROJECT CONSISTS OF IN THE DESCRIPTION OF WORK.
 INTERIOR WORK IS INDICATED TO AN EXISTING SPACE.
  
 IS THE PROPOSED BUILDING BEING BUILT ON VACANT LAND?
  
 IS THE PROPOSED BUILDING A WAREHOUSE AND THEN LATER
 CONVERTED TO A RESTAURANT?
  
 IF SO, THE OCCUPANCY SHOULD BE WAREHOUSE WHICH IS
 STATED; HOWEVER, SEPARATE PERMITS AND INTERIOR
 BUILD-OUT WOULD BE REQUIRED TO CHANGE IT FROM WAREHOUSE
 TO ASSEMBLY.
  
 PLEASE CORRECT THE OCCUPANCY OR THE DESCRIPTION OF WORK
 ACCORDINGLY OR PROVIDE INTERIOR DRAWINGS FOR THE
 RESTAURANT.
  
 THIS PERMIT CAN NOT BE APPROVED FOR A RESTAURANT
 ASSEMBLY/MERCANTILE UNLESS THE ENTIRE INTERIOR
 BUILD-OUT IS INDICATED.
  
  
  
 2) SHEET A 201 - THE REAR EXIT DOES NOT APPEAR TO LEAD
 TO A PUBLIC WAY. THERE IS INSUFFICIENT SITE PLAN AND
 THE SURROUNDING AREA TO DETERMINE THE EXIT LEADS TO A
 PUBLIC WAY.
  
 PER NFPA 101, CHAPTER 7, MEANS OF EGRESS:
  
 7.7 DISCHARGE FROM EXITS.
 7.7.1* EXIT TERMINATION. EXITS SHALL TERMINATE
 DIRECTLY, AT A PUBLIC WAY OR AT AN EXTERIOR EXIT
 DISCHARGE, UNLESS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN 7.7.1.2 THROUGH
 7.7.1.4.
 7.7.1.1 YARDS, COURTS, OPEN SPACES, OR OTHER PORTIONS
 OF THE EXIT DISCHARGE SHALL BE OF THE REQUIRED WIDTH
 AND SIZE TO PROVIDE ALL OCCUPANTS WITH A SAFE ACCESS TO
 A PUBLIC WAY.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE A DETAILED SITE PLAN INDICATING
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE CODE.
  
  
  
 3) A DOOR SCHEDULE IS NOT INDICATED FOR AND DOOR OR
 DOOR HARDWARE, INCLUDING EXIT DOORS.

 7.2 MEANS OF EGRESS COMPONENTS.
 7.2.1 DOOR OPENINGS.
 7.2.1.1 GENERAL.
 7.2.1.1.1 A DOOR ASSEMBLY IN A MEANS OF EGRESS SHALL
 CONFORM TO THE GENERAL REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 7.1 AND
 TO THE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF 7.2.1.
 7.2.1.1.2 EVERY DOOR OPENING AND EVERY PRINCIPAL
 ENTRANCE THAT IS REQUIRED TO SERVE AS AN EXIT SHALL BE
 DESIGNED AND CONSTRUCTED SO THAT THE PATH OF EGRESS
 TRAVEL IS OBVIOUS AND DIRECT. WINDOWS THAT,BECAUSE OF
 THEIR PHYSICAL CONFIGURATION OR DESIGN AND THE
 MATERIALS USED IN THEIR CONSTRUCTION, HAVE THE
 POTENTIAL TO BE MISTAKEN FOR DOOR OPENINGS SHALL BE
 MADE INACCESSIBLE TO THE OCCUPANTS BY BARRIERS OR
 RAILINGS.
  
 7.2.1.5 LOCKS, LATCHES, AND ALARM DEVICES.
 7.2.1.5.1 DOOR LEAVES SHALL BE ARRANGED TO BE OPENED
 READILY FROM THE EGRESS SIDE WHENEVER THE BUILDING IS
 OCCUPIED.
 7.2.1.5.2* THE REQUIREMENT OF 7.2.1.5.1 SHALL NOT APPLY
 TO DOOR LEAVES OF LISTED FIRE DOOR ASSEMBLIES AFTER
 EXPOSURE TO ELEVATED TEMPERATURE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 LISTING, BASED ON LABORATORY FIRE TEST PROCEDURES.
 7.2.1.5.3 LOCKS, IF PROVIDED, SHALL NOT REQUIRE THE USE
 OF A KEY, A TOOL, OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE OR EFFORT FOR
 OPERATION FROM THE EGRESS SIDE.
  
 7.2.1.5.5 KEY-OPERATED LOCKS.
 7.2.1.5.5.1 EXTERIOR DOOR ASSEMBLIES SHALL BE PERMITTED
 TO HAVE KEYOPERATED LOCKS FROM THE EGRESS SIDE,
 PROVIDED THAT ALL OF THE FOLLOWINGCRITERIA ARE MET:
 (1) THIS ALTERNATIVE IS PERMITTED IN CHAPTERS 11
 THROUGH 43 FOR THE SPECIFIC OCCUPANCY.
 (2) A READILY VISIBLE, DURABLE SIGN IN LETTERS NOT LESS
 THAN 1 IN. (25 MM) HIGH ON A CONTRASTING BACKGROUND
 THAT READS AS FOLLOWS IS LOCATED ON OR ADJACENT TO THE
 DOOR LEAF: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN THE
 BUILDING IS
 OCCUPIED.
 (3) THE LOCKING DEVICE IS OF A TYPE THAT IS READILY
 DISTINGUISHABLE AS LOCKED.
 (4) A KEY IS IMMEDIATELY AVAILABLE TO ANY OCCUPANT
 INSIDE THE BUILDING WHEN IT IS LOCKED.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE A DOOR SCHEDULE INCLUDING EXIT DOOR
 HARDWARE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE CODE.
  
  
 4) SHEET A 301 - LIGHTWEIGHT ROOF TRUSSES ARE
 INDICATED.
  
 PER FLORIDA 69A-60.0081; NOTICE SIGNAGE IS REQUIRED FOR
 STRUCTURES WITH LIGHT-FRAME TRUSS-TYPE CONSTRUCTION.
 ANY COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL, OR ANY MULTIUNIT
 RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE OF THREE UNITS OR MORE WHICH USES
 HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL LIGHT-FRAME TRUSS-TYPE
 CONSTRUCTION IN ANY PORTION SHALL BE MARKED WITH A
 MALTESE CROSS SIGN MEASURING 8 INCHES HORIZONTALLY AND
 8 INCHES VERTICALLY, OF A BRIGHT RED REFLECTIVE COLOR.
 THE APPROVED SYMBOL SHALL BE PLACED WITHIN 24 INCHES TO
 THE LEFT OF THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR.
 A. STRUCTURES WITH LIGHT-FRAME TRUSS ROOFS SHALL BE
 MARKED WITH THE LETTER "R".
 B. STRUCTURES WITH LIGHT-FRAME TRUSS FLOOR SYSTEMS
 SHALL BE MARKED WITH THE LETTER "F".
 C. STRUCTURES WITH LIGHT-FRAME TRUSS FLOOR AND ROOF
 SYSTEMS SHALL BE MARKED WITH THE LETTERS "R/F".
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE A NOTE INDICATING COMPLIANCE WITH THE
