| WRITTEN I TOOK THE ISSUE OF MULTIPLE ENTRY/ EXIT POINTS |
| TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL FOR HIS RULING. WE AGREE THAT |
| THE BUILDING WAS CUT UP BY MULTIPLE TENANTS, BUT THE |
| CODE IN SECTION 1008.1.9.3 OF THE FBC-B CODE IS |
| ADDRESSING ALL DOORS THAT LEAD TO THE EXTERIOR. |
| YOU CANNOT JUST LOCK UP A DOOR WHEN THE BUILDING IS |
| OCCUPIED. IN MAKING THE DOOR INOPERABLE YOU WILL NEED |
| TO SHOW THE DOOR IS NO LONGER A DOOR, AN EXAMPLE IF THE |
| WINDOW WALLS START THE BOTTOM OF THE WINDOW AT 3 FEET, |
| THEN DO THE SAME WITH THE DOOR SO IT NO LONGER |
| RESEMBLES A DOOR, OR WALL IT OVER SO THE DOOR IS NO |
| LONGER VISIBLE. PLEASE PROVIDE HOW YOU INTEND TO COMPLY |
| WITH THE CODE? |
