 CHECKLIST.
 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- ENGINEER TO REVISE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 A) CALCULATIONS ARE NOT CLEAR AND SEEM TO BE INCORRECT.
 CLARIFY WHY THE # OF ROWS HAVING SPACING A IS "0". I
 THINK THIS SHOULD BE 1. SINCE CALCULATIONS ARE NOT
 CLEAR, I ASSUME THIS IS THE SIDE LAP. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 NOTE: CALCULATIONS ARE NOT CLEAR, THE LETTERS "A" AND
 "C" ARE REPEATED BUT THEY SEEM TO APPLY FOR DIFFERENT
 THINGS. I AM JUST ASSUMING ONE A IS FOR FASTENER
 SPACING IN THE LAP AND THE OTHER A IS FOR FASTENER
 SPACING IN THE CENTER ROWS. AND, ONE C IS FOR THE
 NUMBER OF ROWS HAVING SPACING A IN THE SIDE LAP AND THE
 OTHER C IS FOR # OF ROWS HAVING SPACING A IN THE CENTER
 ROWS.
  
 B) NUMBER OF ROWS AND SPACING SPECIFIED FOR THE CORNER
 AREAS SEEM TO BE INCORRECT. WE USE A SPREAD SHEET TO
 VERIFY RAS 117 CALCULATIONS WHEN WE THINK THERE IS
 SOMETHING THAT IS NOT CLEAR. BASED ON THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES AND INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE NOA
 SUBMITTED IT LOOKS LIKE CORNER ZONES WILL REQUIRE AT
 LEAST FOUR ROWS OF FASTENER IN THE CENTER OF THE SHEET
 AND NOT 3 AS SPECIFIED BY THE ENGINEER ( FASTENER
 SPACING CAN NOT BE LESS THAN 4" O.C. AS REQUIRED BY RAS
 117 SEC. 8.1). ENCLOSED SEE THE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS
 THAT I RUN FOR THIS PROJECT. ENGINEER TO REVISE AS
 REQUIRED OR PROVIDE COMPLETE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS
 SHOWING THAT OUR SAMPLE IS INCORRECT. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 NOTE: AS REQUIRED BY FLORIDA STATUTE 553.80(2)(B)
 ENGINEER MAY BE CHARGED FOUR TIMES THE PLAN REVIEW FEES
 FOR MULTIPLE REJECTIONS.
