 1- ENGINEER TO REVISE THE RAS 117 CALCULATIONS
 SUBMITTED:
 A) ACCORDING TO SEC. R301.2.1.4.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH
 EDITION (2014) THIS BUILDING IS LOCATED IN EXPOSURE "D"
 NOT EXPOSURE "C". REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 B) IT IS NOT CLEAR WHICH APPROVED FLAT ROOF SYSTEM IS
 GOING TO BE INSTALLED. ROOFING CONTRACTOR SUBMITTED
 SYSTEM TYPE E(3) ON PAGE 14 OF 15 OF NOA 17-0222.09.
 ENGINEER DOESN'T DESCRIBE THE SPECIFIC FLAT ROOF SYSTEM
 FROM NOA 17-0222.09 TO BE INSTALLED, BUT THE FASTENER
 SPACING ENGINEER IS SPECIFYING ON PAGE TWO OF THREE OF
 CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED DOESN'T MATCH THE FASTENER
 SPACING SHOWN ON THE SYSTEM SUBMITTED BY THE ROOFING
 CONTRACTOR. ENGINEER TO COORDINATE WITH ROOFING
 CONTRACTOR AND CLEARLY IDENTIFY WHICH SPECIFIC FLAT
 ROOF SYSTEM IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 C) THE MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURE OF THE SELECTED FLAT
 ROOF SYSTEM IS LESS THAN THE CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURE
 FOR ROOF ZONE #1. THEREFORE, THIS FLAT ROOF SYSTEM CAN
 NOT BE USED. SEE SEC. 8.1 OF RAS 117. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY.
  
 D) PAGE 3 OF RAS 117 CALCULATIONS SHOW A FASTENER
 SPACING OF 3 INCHES FOR CORNER AREAS. THE MINIMUM
 FASTENER SEPARATION SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 4 INCHES
 O.C. AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 8.1 OF RAS 117. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED TO COMPLY.
