 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) SHEET 0100_A103 LEVEL 3 AND 0113_A123.8 LEVEL 3.8.
 THE DOORS BETWEEN CORRIDOR 301 AND GALLERY 304. THESE
 DOORS HAVE BEEN REVERSED AGAINST THE EGRESS FLOW. 2014
 1008.1.2 DOOR SWING. DOORS SHALL SWING IN THE DIRECTION
 OF EGRESS TRAVEL WHERE SERVING A ROOM OR AREA
 CONTAINING AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 50 OR MORE PERSONS.
 THERE IS A SAME OCCUPANT LOAD SERVED ON THE 2ND FLOOR
 LEVEL, IF NOT MORE AND THOSE DOORS WERE NOT REVERSED.
 THE ORIGINAL CONCEPT IN PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETINGS HAD
 UNENCLOSED EXIT ACCESS STAIR CONCEPT 3-19-2015,
 6-09-2015 & 11-18-2015.
 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 2) SHEET 0097_A101 & 0189_A617 VESTIBULE 124 LEADS INTO
 EXIT STAIR B143. IF THIS ROOM (VESTIBULE 124) IS TRULY
 BEING DESIGNED AS A VESTIBULE TO THE VERTICAL EXIT B143
 IT CANNOT BE USED FOR ANY OTHER PURPOSE OTHER THAN TO
 GAIN ENTRY INTO THE VERTICAL EXIT STAIR AND WILL NEED
 TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOUND IN FBC-B 909.20. THE
 DESIGNER CAN DESIGN TO A STRICTER STANDARD THAN THE
 MINIMUM CODE. IF THE VESTIBULE IS FOR EXITING THEN ALSO
 REVIEW 1014.2 EGRESS THROUGH INTERVENING SPACES.(4) 4.
 EGRESS SHALL NOT PASS THROUGH KITCHENS, STORAGE ROOMS,
 CLOSETS OR SPACES USED FOR SIMILAR PURPOSES. THE DOOR
 INTO THE VERTICAL STAIR WOULD MAKE THE EXIT A HANDY
 PLACE TO STORE THINGS IF THE ROOM IS NOT A VESTIBULE,
 RENAME AND REMOVE THE DOOR INTO THE VERTICAL EXIT.
 DOORS INTO VERTICAL EXITS ARE ONLY TO BE USED AS ENTRY
 DOORS FROM HABITABLE/ OCCUPIED SPACES.
  
 3) A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW
 COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION
 MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE
 THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR
