 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SITE THE OLD MYERS LUGGAGE STORE. THE COVER SHEET
 INDICATES THIS TENANT SPACE WAS A MERCANTILE AND IS
 PROPOSED TO BE AN A-2 OCCUPANCY. A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 IS MORE STRINGENT THAN A LEVEL II ALTERATION AND MUST
 MEET ALL OF THE REQUIREMENTS FOUND IN THE 2014 FBC-
 EXISTING BUILDING CODE. PLEASE REFER TO CHAPTER 10,
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY. 1001.3.1 PARTIAL CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION. WHERE A PORTION OF AN
 EXISTING BUILDING IS CHANGED TO A NEW OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION, SECTION 1012 SHALL APPLY.
  
 1A) THE COVERSHEET DOES NOT PROVIDE THE REQUIRED
 OCCUPANCY SEPARATION REQUIREMENT FOUND IN TABLE 508.4

 HR. OCCUPANCY SEPARATION BUT DOES NOT DECLARE THE TYPE
 OF WALL ASSEMBLY TO MAKE UP THE EXISTING 2 HR. FIRE
 BARRIER. FBC-B 707.3.9 SEPARATED OCCUPANCIES & 707.5
 CONTINUITY.
  
 1B) SINCE THE OCCUPANCY SEPARATION WALLS WILL HAVE
 ADDITIONAL ELECTRICAL AND OR PLUMBING PLEASE PROVIDE
 FIRE RATED WALL PENETRATION DETAILS PER FBC-B 707.7.
 PENETRATIONS. PENETRATIONS OF FIRE BARRIERS SHALL
 COMPLY WITH SECTION 714 OF THE FBC-B.
  
 1C) PLEASE PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2014
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING CODE SECTION 1012.1.2 FIRE
 PROTECTION AND INTERIOR FINISH. THE PROVISIONS OF
 SECTIONS 1012.2 AND 1012.3 FOR FIRE PROTECTION AND
 INTERIOR FINISH, RESPECTIVELY, SHALL APPLY TO ALL
 BUILDINGS UNDERGOING A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION.
  
 1D) PLEASE REVIEW UNDER CHAPTER 10 OF THE EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE THE REQUIREMENT FOR FIRE SPRINKLERS. 2014
 EXT. BLDG. CODE 1012.2 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS.
 FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEMS SHALL BE PROVIDED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTIONS 1012.2.1 AND 1012.2.2.
 EXST. BLDG. CODE 1012.2.1 FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM. WHERE
 A CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION OCCURS THAT
 REQUIRES AN AUTOMATIC FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM TO BE
 PROVIDED BASED ON THE NEW OCCUPANCY IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 CHAPTER 9 OF THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING, SUCH
 SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED THROUGHOUT THE AREA WHERE THE
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY OCCURS.
 2014 FBC-B SECTION F] 903.2.1.2 GROUP A-2. AN AUTOMATIC
 SPRINKLER SYSTEM SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR GROUP A-2
 OCCUPANCIES WHERE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS
 EXISTS: 2. THE FIRE AREA HAS AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 100 OR
 MORE.
  
 2) SHEET A-1:
 2A) PLEASE REVIEW THE DOOR SWING FOR THE DOOR BETWEEN
 THE BACK SEATING ROOM AND THE RESTROOM VESTIBULE. THIS
 DOOR SWINGS AGAINST THE MEANS OF EGRESS WITH AN
 OCCUPANT LOAD GREATER THAN 50 OCCUPANTS. PLEASE REVIEW
 SECTION 1008.1.2 OF THE 2014 FBC-B. 1008.1.2 DOOR
 SWING. DOORS SHALL SWING IN THE DIRECTION OF EGRESS
 TRAVEL WHERE SERVING A ROOM OR AREA CONTAINING AN
 OCCUPANT LOAD OF 50 OR MORE PERSONS.
  
 2B) THE REAR OF THE TENANT SPACE IS LABELED A OFFICE
 AREA BUT LOOKS MORE LIKE A STORAGE AREA WITH AN EXIT
 ACCESS GOING THROUGH. NOTE THERE IS A SIGNAGE ON PLANS
 NO STORAGE, IF TO BE CONSIDERED AN OFFICE AREA SHOW
 FURNITURE AND IT NOT BLOCKING THE MEANS OF EGRESS.
 2014 FBC-B 014.2 EGRESS THROUGH INTERVENING SPACES.
 (4). EGRESS SHALL NOT PASS THROUGH KITCHENS, STORAGE
 ROOMS, CLOSETS OR SPACES USED FOR SIMILAR PURPOSES.
  
 2C) SHEET A1 SHOWS 4 ACCESSIBLE SEATS. THE LIFE SAFETY
 SHEET DOES NOT SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE :
 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE; 226.1 WHERE DINING
 SURFACES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE CONSUMPTION OF FOOD OR
 DRINK, AT LEAST 5 PERCENT OF THE SEATING SPACES AND
 STANDING SPACES AT THE DINING SURFACES SHALL COMPLY
 WITH 902. 98 SEATS X 0.05= 4.9 OR 5 SEATS, 4SHOWN ON
 PLANS.
  
 2D) FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING
 SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH 902
 SHALL BE DISPERSED THROUGHOUT THE SPACE OR FACILITY
 CONTAINING DINING SURFACES AND WORK SURFACES. THE PLANS
 DO NOT SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH: 902.1 .DINING SURFACES AND
 WORK SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902.2 AND 902.3.
 ADVISORY 902.1 GENERAL. DINING SURFACES INCLUDE, BUT

 LOCATION OF THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE. THE FRONT DOOR IS
 NOT TO SWING BEYOND THE PROPERTY LINE. 2014 FBC-B
 3202.2 ENCROACHMENTS ABOVE GRADE AND BELOW 8 FEET IN
 HEIGHT. DOORS AND WINDOWS SHALL NOT OPEN OR PROJECT
