 1) THE CHANGE/ REVISION FROM CBS (CONCRETE, BLOCK &
 STEEL) CONSTRUCTION TO TILT WALL CONSTRUCTION WILL
 REQUIRE A RESIDENT INSPECTOR ON SITE THRU THE ROOF
 FRAMING AND DOOR DECK INSPECTIONS.
 THIS BUILDING QUALIFIES FOR THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR
 PROGRAM. 2014 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 110.3.9 OTHER
 INSPECTIONS SERVICES. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY MAKE,
 OR CAUSE TO BE MADE BY OTHERS, THE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED
 BY SECTION 109. HE/SHE MAY ACCEPT REPORTS OF INSPECTORS
 OF RECOGNIZED INSPECTION SERVICES, PROVIDED THAT AFTER
 INVESTIGATION HE/SHE IS SATISFIED AS TO THEIR
 QUALIFICATIONS AND RELIABILITY. A CERTIFICATE CALLED
 FOR BY ANY PROVISION OF THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT
 BE BASED ON SUCH REPORTS UNLESS THE SAME ARE IN WRITING
 AND CERTIFIED BY A RESPONSIBLE OFFICER OF SUCH SERVICE.
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY REQUIRE THE OWNER TO EMPLOY
 AN INSPECTION SERVICE IN THE FOLLOWING INSTANCES:
  
 1. FOR BUILDINGS OR ADDITIONS OF TYPE I OR II
 CONSTRUCTION
 7. FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES OF UNUSUAL DESIGN OR
 METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION/ TILT WALL
 CONSTRUCTION.

 PARTIES NOTARIZED AND RETURNED TO THE BUILDING

 1B) FOR THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR PLEASE PROVIDE A RESUME'
 OF INSPECTION EXPERIENCE ON PREVIOUS PROJECT. THE
 RESUME' MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ALL CERTIFICATES AS
 SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OR HIS DESIGNEE
 WILL REVIEW THE RESUME'. AFTER THE RESUME' IS REVIEWED,
 AN INTERVIEW WILL BE SCHEDULED. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES
 WILL AN INSPECTOR BE INTERVIEWED FOR WORK WITHOUT FIRST
 MEETING THE ABOVE CRITERIA.
  
 1C) THE CONTRACTOR WILL PRODUCE A JOB SUMMARY OR
 HISTORY FOR THIS TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION.
  
 1D) COMPLIED. NOTE FOR PAPER PLANS 3 SETS OF DOCUMENTS
 ARE REQUIRED.

 IN-PROGRESS INSPECTIONS FOR AUDITING OF JOBSITE
 INSPECTIONS.
  
 2) SHEET LS-101MAKES REFERENCES TO TABLE 601 AND NO
 FIRE RATING OF FLOOR SYSTEMS. THIS IS TRUE BUT THERE IS
 NO REFERENCE TO THE REQUIREMENT OF FIRE RATED FLOOR
 ASSEMBIES FOR R2 SLEEPING ROOMS UNDER SECTION 420.3
 HORIZONTAL SEPARATION AND THE REQUIRED IN FBC-B 711.3
 AND TABLE 707.3.10.
 3) SHEET A-100 PLAN REVISION HAS A NOTE THAT THE 2ND
 FLOOR ASSEMBLY HAS BEEN CHANGED TO AN 8 INCH HOLLOW
 CORE SLAB PLEASE PROVIDE THE FIRE RATING OF THE 2ND
 FLOOR 8 INCH HOLLOW CORE SLAB ASSEMBLY IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH 420.3 HORIZONTAL SEPARATION AND THE REQUIRED IN
 FBC-B 711.3 AND TABLE 707.3.10. PLEASE NOTE SHEET S-000
 INDICATES THIS FLOOR SYSTEM IS ACTUALLY 6 INCH CONCRETE
 HOLLOW CORE PLANK WITH 2 INCHES OF TOPPING.
 DISCREPANCY IN PLANS.
  
 4A) SHEET A-101A, HAS A NEW NOTE ABOUT WHEEL CHAIR LIFT
 REQUIREMENTS. PLEASE SPECIFY IF THE INTENT IS TO USE A
 LULA, LIMITED USE/ LIMITED APPLICATION ELEVATOR
 CLASSIFIED BY ASTM A17.1 OR IF THE SPECIFICATION IS FOR
 A PLATFORM LIFT CLASSIFIED UNDER ASTM E A18.1. PLEASE
 NOTE IF THE INTENT IS TO USE A PLATFORM LIFT UNDER ASTM
 E A18.1 IN NEW CONSTRUCTION IT IS VERY LIMITED USES,
 THE 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION 296.7 HAS ONLY
 (5) EXCEPTIONS FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION. EXCEPTION 3 ALLOWS
 FOR NOT ALLOWED FOR PUBLIC USE BUT THE EXCEPTION ALSO
 STATES TO BE OCCUPIED BY NOT MORE THAN 5 OCCUPANTS.
  
 4B) THE CHANGE SHOWING A 4 INCH RECESS FOR LIFT MAYBE
 CHANGED WHEN THE MANUFACTURERS SHOP DRAWINGS ARE

 BEEN REPLACED. THIS SHEET SHOWS THE DORM ROOM CORRIDOR
 WALLS AND WALLS ADJACENT TO ANOTHER DORM WITH A WALL
 TAG TYPE 2 WALL. THE LEGEND IDENTIFIES THE WALLS AS A 1
 HOUR FIRE RATED WALL. SHEET -500 DOES NOT SHOW THE WALL
 TYPE 2 AS FIRE RATED. SEE SECTION 420.2 OF THE 2014
 FBC-B AND THE REQUIREMENT FOR FIRE PARTITIONS IN

 WHERE DOES THE WALL FIRE RATINGS STOP IN THE CAPTAINS
 DORM WHY NO RATING OF THE CEILING IN THIS DORM?
 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIRED. WALL RATINGS
 TO THE ROOF STRUCTURE NO REQUIRED CEILING RATING, IF
 THE DRYWALL CEILING IS RATED THEN A WALL DAMPER WOULD
 BE REQUIRED.
  
 9) A-104 HAS INCLUDED MORE SPECS FOR THE CARLISLE ROOF
 SYSTEM, PLEASE PRODUCE THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE
 LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE AND CARLISLE ROOF AT THE SAME
 TIME. BOTH SUBMITTALS WILL NEED TO AGREE ON THE VENTING
 FOR THE LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE. THE LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE
 AS WELL AS THE ROOFING MANUFACTURER WILL HAVE OPTIONS
 FOR VENTING OF THE LIGHTWEIGHT CONCRETE. PLEASE
 IDENTIFY WHICH OPTION.
