 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET S-PWS-01 FOUNDATION NOTE F-2 , INDICATES TO
 USE THE GEOTECHNICAL REPORTS FROM THE BIOSOLIDS
 IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, BY DUNKELBURGER ENGINEERING AND
 TESTING DATED APRIL 10/ 2014 AND BY RADISE
 INTERNATIONAL DATED MARCH 26, 2014. PLEASE PROVIDE AN
 ADDENDUM BY EITHER COMPANY SIGNED AND SEALED STATING
 THESE REPORTS CAN BE USED FOR THIS PROJECT. NEITHER OF
 THE MENTIONED REPORTS DID BORINGS IN THE PROPOSED WORK
 AREA.
  
 2014 FBC-B 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOIL. WHERE THE
 CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR COMPRESSIBILITY OF THE SOIL
 IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A LOAD-BEARING VALUE SUPERIOR TO
 THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS CODE IS CLAIMED, THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL SHALL BE PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED.
  
 2) SHEET S-PWS-10 SHOWS A SECTION 1 SHOWS SECONDARY
 EFFLUENT TRANSFER PUMP STATION. NOTE 2 OF THIS PAGE
 INDICATES SEE DRILL LOCATION AND ELEVATION ON M
 DRAWINGS. M-PWS-10 SHOWS A SECTION B GIVING THE
 CENTERLINE OF THE PIPE AND ASSOCIATED HOLE AT AN
 ELEVATION 4.25. FINISH GRADE IS AT 25.00. PLEASE
 PROVIDE
 WHAT REQUIREMENTS ARE TO BE PUT IN PLACE FOR SAME
 GUARDING THE SURROUNDING STRUCTURES AS WELL AS THE
 DEWATERING REQUIRED TO GET A STABLE, DRY & WORKABLE
 GROUND AT ELEVATION 4.25 FT. ELEVATION. THIS SAME
 ELEVATION IS GOING TO BE REQUIRED TO BE A STABLE DRY
 GROUND FOR THE EXTENSION OF THE 48 INCH EFFLUENT PIPE.
  
 2A) FBC-B 1804.1 EXCAVATION NEAR FOUNDATIONS.
 EXCAVATION FOR ANY PURPOSE SHALL NOT REMOVE LATERAL
 SUPPORT FROM ANY FOUNDATION WITHOUT FIRST UNDERPINNING
 OR PROTECTING THE FOUNDATION AGAINST SETTLEMENT OR
 LATERAL TRANSLATION.
  
 2B) FBC-B 1805.1.3 GROUND-WATER CONTROL. THE DESIGN OF
 THE SYSTEM TO LOWER THE GROUND-WATER TABLE SHALL BE
 BASED ON ACCEPTED PRINCIPLES OF ENGINEERING THAT SHALL
 CONSIDER, BUT NOT NECESSARILY BE LIMITED TO,
 PERMEABILITY OF THE SOIL, RATE AT WHICH WATER ENTERS
 THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM, RATED CAPACITY OF PUMPS, HEAD
 AGAINST WHICH PUMPS ARE TO OPERATE AND THE RATED
 CAPACITY OF THE DISPOSAL AREA OF THE SYSTEM.
  
 2C) THE PLANS ARE SILENT AS TO HOW THE GROUND IS TO BE
 HELD BACK WHEN THE WORK AREA WILL BE BELOW 4.25 FT.
 NGVD. WILL THE USE OF DRIVEN SHEET PILE BE USED IN THIS
 TYPE OF APPLICATION, TO HELP HOLD BACK WATER AND SOILS
 FROM LATERAL MOVEMENT, IF SO HOW MUCH TOE IS TO BE
 REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN SOILS SATIABILITY?
  
 1810.3.1.4 DRIVEN PILES. DRIVEN PILES SHALL BE DESIGNED
 AND MANUFACTURED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ACCEPTED
 ENGINEERING PRACTICE TO RESIST ALL STRESSES INDUCED BY
 HANDLING, DRIVING AND SERVICE LOADS.
  
 2D) THE ISSUE WITH THE AMOUNT OF EARTH TO BE REMOVED,
 THE LOCATION OF THE SURCHARGE IN RELATION TO THE
 EXCAVATION MAYBE A SAFETY CONCERN. FBC-B 3304.1.2
 SURCHARGE. NO FILL OR OTHER SURCHARGE LOADS SHALL BE
 PLACED ADJACENT TO ANY BUILDING OR STRUCTURE UNLESS
 SUCH BUILDING OR STRUCTURE IS CAPABLE OF WITHSTANDING
 THE ADDITIONAL LOADS CAUSED BY THE FILL OR SURCHARGE.
  
 3) RESIDENT INSPECTOR REQUIRED. (3) SETS OF PLANS.
 2014 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 110.3.9 OTHER
 INSPECTIONS SERVICES. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY MAKE,
 OR CAUSE TO BE MADE BY OTHERS, THE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED
 BY SECTION 109. HE/SHE MAY ACCEPT REPORTS OF INSPECTORS
 OF RECOGNIZED INSPECTION SERVICES, PROVIDED THAT AFTER
 INVESTIGATION HE/SHE IS SATISFIED AS TO THEIR
 QUALIFICATIONS AND RELIABILITY. A CERTIFICATE CALLED
 FOR BY ANY PROVISION OF THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT
 BE BASED ON SUCH REPORTS UNLESS THE SAME ARE IN WRITING
 AND CERTIFIED BY A RESPONSIBLE OFFICER OF SUCH SERVICE.
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY REQUIRE THE OWNER TO EMPLOY
 AN INSPECTION SERVICE IN THE FOLLOWING INSTANCES:
  
 1. FOR BUILDINGS OR ADDITIONS OF TYPE I OR II
 CONSTRUCTION
 2. FOR ALL MAJOR STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS
 3. WHERE THE CONCRETE DESIGN IS BASED ON COMPRESSIVE
 STRENGTH (F ?C) IN EXCESS OF 3000
 POUNDS PER SQUARE INCH
 4. FOR PILE DRIVING
 7. FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES OF UNUSUAL DESIGN OR
 METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION
  
 3A) RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORMS MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL
 PARTIES NOTARIZED AND RETURNED TO THE BUILDING
 DEPARTMENT BEFORE PERMIT ISSUANCE.

 3B) FOR THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR PLEASE PROVIDE A RESUME'
 OF INSPECTION EXPERIENCE ON PREVIOUS PROJECT. THE
 RESUME' MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ALL CERTIFICATES AS
 SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OR HIS DESIGNEE
 WILL REVIEW THE RESUME'. AFTER THE RESUME' IS REVIEWED,
 AN INTERVIEW WILL BE SCHEDULED.
  
 3C) THE CONTRACTOR WILL PRODUCE A JOB SUMMARY OR
 HISTORY FOR THIS TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION.
  
 3D) NOTE FOR PAPER PLANS 3 SETS OF DOCUMENTS ARE
 REQUIRED. FOR DIGITAL PLANS, AFTER PERMIT ISSUANCE, THE
 PERMIT LIBRARIAN WILL E-MAIL YOU, THE APPROVED AND
 BATCH STAMPED PLANS SO YOU MAY PRINT YOUR PLANS, TWO
 SETS OF PLANS WILL NEED TO BE PRINTED IN COLOR, (1) FOR
 THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR, THE OTHER FOR THE MEP
 INSPECTORS.
  
 3E) 2010/ 2014 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION,
 110.3.9 AND GUIDELINES AND POLICIES FOR PROJECTS
 CONCERNING RESIDENT INSPECTORS. COMMENT # 14. 3 COPIES
 OF ALL SHOP DRAWINGS (HANDRAILS, PRECAST JOINT AND
 SLABS, PRODUCT APPROVALS, TRUSSES, BAR JOIST, ETC.)
 MUST BE SUBMITTED TO THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT. TWO
 REVIEWED SETS OF DOCUMENTS WILL BE RETURNED TO THE JOB
 SITE BEFORE ANY OF THE ABOVE ARE INSTALLED ON THE JOB.
