 REVIEW CHECKLIST.
 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 NOTE:
 BUILDING REVIEW MAY BE APPROVED WITH PROVISO. PROVISO
 MEANS THAT REQUIRED INFORMATION MAY BE SUBMITTED AFTER
 THE PERMIT IS ISSUED BUT BEFORE INSPECTIONS TO AVOID
 CONFLICTS/DELAYS. REVISION FEES MAY APPLY. CONTRACTOR
 TO ADVICE IF THE PROVISO OPTION IS PREFERRED AT THIS
 TIME OR IF RESUBMITTING REQUIRED INFORMATION BEFORE
 PERMIT ISSUANCE.
 NEED COUNTY IMPACT FEES STAMP ON PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT BEFORE ISSUING THE PERMIT.
  
 1- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY FOR IMPACT FEES ASSESSMENT (2300 N. JOG RD.).
 BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF
 THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 2- REVISE ALL COMPONENTS AND CLADDING DESIGN PRESSURES
 ON SHEET S1 AND A2 TO REFLECT DESIGN PRESSURES FOR
 EXPOSURE "C". SEC. R301.2.1.4 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 RESPONSE:
 EXPOSURE WAS REVISED ON SHEET S1 BUT THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES SHOWN ON SHEET A2 FOR THE OVERHEAD GARAGE
 DOOR ARE NOT CLEAR. ACCORDING TO THE DESIGN DATA FOR
 WIND LOADS ON SHEET A2, THE DESIGN PRESSURES SHOWN ARE
 FOR THE 170 MPH ULTIMATE WIND SPEED. IT LOOKS LIKE THE
 DESIGN PRESSURES FOR DOORS AND WINDOWS ARE GIVEN BASE
 ON THE ULTIMATE WIND LOAD. BUT, THE DESIGN PRESSURES
 FOR THE OVERHEAD GARAGE DOOR ARE TOO LOW IF THEY ARE
 BASED ON THE 170 MPH ULTIMATE WIND SPEED WITH A "C"
 EXPOSURE. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 3- PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE DOOR LEADING
 FROM THE GARAGE TO THE MAIN HOUSE SHOWING COMPLIANCE
 WITH ALL THE REQUIREMENTS OF OPENING PROTECTION OF SEC.
 R302.5.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 RESPONSE:
 NEED TO SPECIFY THE SELF CLOSING DEVICE AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R302.5.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- ENGINEER OF RECORD IS DESIGNING AN UNVENTTED ATTIC.
 PROVIDE ICC EVALUATION REPORT (2 COPIES) FOR THE
 ICYNENE ROOF INSULATION SPECIFIED BY THE ENGINEER OF
 RECORD. NEED THE ICC EVALUATION REPORT TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R316
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 5- MASTER BATHROOM AND BATHROOM FOR OTHER BEDROOMS ARE
 SHOWING ONLY MECHANICAL VENTILATION FOR THE WATER
 CLOSET COMPARTMENT. NEED TO PROVIDE MECHANICAL
 VENTILATION FOR THE REST OF THE BATHROOM ALSO AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R303.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
 NOTE: COORDINATE INFORMATION ON MECHANICAL AND
 ELECTRICAL PLANS.
 RESPONSE: MECHANICAL PLAN WAS REVISED, BUT ELECTRICAL
 PLAN WAS NOT. REVISE ELECTRICAL PLAN TO SHOW LOCATION
 AND SWITCH FOR THE EXHAUST FANS.
  
 6- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 A) GARAGE OVERHEAD DOOR. DRAWINGS SUBMITTED ARE TOO
 LIGHT. THEY ARE NOT LEGIBLE. PROVIDE LEGIBLE DRAWINGS
 AND PROVIDE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE THAT
 CORRESPONDS TO DRAWINGS SUBMITTED.
 NOTE: PRODUCT APPROVAL WILL BE REVIEWED ONCE THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES ON ITEM #2 ABOVE ARE CLARIFIED.
  
 B) JAMES HARDI PLANK AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS. PROVIDE
 COMPLETE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROPOSED
 INSTALLATION THAT CORRESPOND TO FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FL13192-R4 SUBMITTED.
  
 7- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO APPROVE ABOVE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 8- PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE FOR THE
 BAHAMA SHUTTERS SHOWING PROPOSED INSTALLATION TO VERIFY
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES AND NOA 14-1120.09
 SUBMITTED. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 9- PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE FOR THE
 COLONIAL SHUTTERS SHOWING PROPOSED INSTALLATION TO
 VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN PRESSURES AND NOA
 14-1120.09 SUBMITTED. SEC. R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 10- NO CLEAR WHAT KIND OF ROOFING IS GOING TO BE
 INSTALLED. METAL ROOF OR CONCRETE TILE. THERE ARE TWO
 DIFFERENT ROOFING PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED. ONE IS
 FOR METAL ROOF AND THE OTHER ONE IS FOR CONCRETE TILE.
 PLANS CALL FOR METAL ROOFING. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO
 MATCH. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 NOTE: ROOF TILE REQUIRES REVISION ON THE DESIGN
 CRITERIA TO INCLUDE THE ADDITIONAL WEIGHT.
  
 ******ENGINEER TO PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING
 EACH COMMENT TO HELP EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
 ***** PLEASE INSERT ANY REVISED DRAWING AND REMOVE OLD
 DRAWINGS. DON'T STAPLE OLD DRAWINGS. SUBMIT OLD
 DRAWINGS FOR REFERENCE.
