 REAPPEARS PLEASE UPDATE PLANS TO THE CORRECT OCCUPANT

 2A) THE COVERSHEET A-0.0 INDICATES AN OCCUPANCY
 SEPARATION WALL BETWEEN A I-4 DAYCARE OCCUPANCY AND
 BUSINESS OCCUPANCY WITH A 2 HOUR FIRE RATING PER TABLE
 508.4. THE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE A WALL TYPE OF
 CONSTRUCTION FOR WALL REPAIRS FOR WATER PIPES AND
 ELECTRICAL CONDUITS THAT WILL BE BEING INSTALLED IN
 THIS WALL, SEE SECTION 707.3.9 SEPARATED OF
 OCCUPANCIES. WHERE THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 508.4 ARE
 APPLICABLE, THE FIRE BARRIER SEPARATING MIXED
 OCCUPANCIES SHALL HAVE A FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF NOT
 LESS THAN THAT INDICATED IN TABLE 508.4 BASED ON THE
 OCCUPANCIES BEING SEPARATED. NEITHER DOES THE PLAN
 INDICATE HOW FAR THE LAPS HAVE TO BE FORM ONE LAYER TO
 ANOTHER.
  
 715.2 INSTALLATION. A FIRE-RESISTANT JOINT SYSTEM SHALL
 BE SECURELY INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LISTING
 CRITERIA IN OR ON THE JOINT FOR ITS ENTIRE LENGTH SO AS
 NOT TO DISLODGE, LOOSEN OR OTHERWISE IMPAIR ITS ABILITY
 TO ACCOMMODATE EXPECTED BUILDING MOVEMENTS AND TO
 RESIST THE PASSAGE OF FIRE AND HOT GASES.
  
 715.3 FIRE TEST CRITERIA. FIRE-RESISTANT JOINT SYSTEMS
 SHALL BE TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 EITHER ASTM E 1966 OR UL 2079. NONSYMMETRICAL WALL
 JOINT SYSTEMS SHALL BE TESTED WITH BOTH FACES EXPOSED
 TO THE FURNACE, AND THE ASSIGNED FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING
 SHALL BE THE SHORTEST DURATION OBTAINED FROM THE TWO
 TESTS. WHEN EVIDENCE IS FURNISHED TO SHOW THAT THE WALL
 WAS TESTED WITH THE LEAST FIRE-RESISTANT SIDE EXPOSED
 TO THE FURNACE, SUBJECT TO ACCEPTANCE OF THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL, THE WALL NEED NOT BE SUBJECTED TO TESTS FROM
 THE OPPOSITE SIDE.

 SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 714.3.1.1 OR 714.3.1.2.

 R2 & R3, THE DOOR SCHEDULE ON SHEET A-4.0 THESE ARE
 DOORS TO BE RE-USED. PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE NO NOTES IN
 THE DOOR SCHEDULE FOR THESE DOORS. CODE COMPLIANCE FOR
 THESE DOORS CANNOT BE DETERMINED.
