 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES, REQUIRED 18 INCHES LATCH SIDE
 OF THE DOOR. 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION
 ACCESS. CODE 404.2.4 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES. / FIGURE
 404.2.4.1(A). MINIMUM MANEUVERING CLEARANCES AT DOORS
 AND GATES SHALL COMPLY WITH 404.2.4. MANEUVERING
 CLEARANCES SHALL EXTEND THE FULL WIDTH OF THE DOORWAY
 AND THE REQUIRED LATCH SIDE OR HINGE SIDE CLEARANCE.
 PERMIT 12020020 WAS FOR A CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY
 RESIDENTIAL TO BUSINESS. THE PLANS WERE REDLINED/
 PROVISO FOR AN ACCESSIBLE FRONT DOOR UNDER THE
 2007/02009 FBC- B 11-4.13.6 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES AT
 DOORS.
  
 1B) SHEET LS1.0, A1.01 & A2.0 ALL OF THE FLOOR PLAN,
 SHEET A2.0 IS DETAILED SECTIONS OF THE FLOOR PLAN
 DETAIL (A) IS AN ENLARGE DETAIL OF THE ACCESSIBLE
 RESTROOM, THE RESTROOM DOES NOT HAVE ANY DIMENSIONS AS
 TO THE SIZE OF THE RESTROOM, FIXTURES DISTANCE FROM
 WALLS TO THE NEXT FIXTURE, BACKING FOR FIXTURES AND
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE
 SECTION:
  
 604.2 LOCATION. THE WATER CLOSET SHALL BE POSITIONED
 WITH A WALL OR PARTITION TO THE REAR AND TO ONE SIDE.
 THE CENTERLINE OF THE WATER CLOSET SHALL BE 16 INCHES
 (405 MM) MINIMUM TO 18 INCHES (455 MM) MAXIMUM FROM THE
 SIDE WALL OR PARTITION, EXCEPT THAT THE WATER CLOSET
 SHALL BE 17 INCHES (430 MM) MINIMUM AND 19 INCHES (485
 MM) MAXIMUM FROM THE SIDE WALL OR PARTITION IN THE
 AMBULATORY ACCESSIBLE TOILET COMPARTMENT SPECIFIED IN
 604.8.2. WATER CLOSETS SHALL BE ARRANGED FOR A
 LEFT-HAND OR RIGHT-HAND APPROACH.

 SHEET A2.0 IS DETAILED SECTIONS OF THE FLOOR PLAN
 DETAIL (A) IS AN ENLARGE DETAIL OF THE ACCESSIBLE
 RESTROOM, 604.3.1 SIZE 604.3.2 OVERLAP. THE REQUIRED
 CLEARANCE AROUND THE WATER CLOSET SHALL BE PERMITTED TO
 OVERLAP THE WATER CLOSET, ASSOCIATED GRAB BARS,
 DISPENSERS, SANITARY NAPKIN DISPOSAL UNITS, COAT HOOKS,
 SHELVES, ACCESSIBLE ROUTES, CLEAR FLOOR SPACE AND
 CLEARANCES REQUIRED AT OTHER FIXTURES, AND THE TURNING
 SPACE. NO OTHER FIXTURES OR OBSTRUCTIONS SHALL BE
 LOCATED WITHIN THE REQUIRED WATER CLOSET CLEARANCE.

 RESTROOM. THIS SAME SHEET (A2.0) DETAIL C SHOWS THE
 REAR ELEVATION OF THE RESTROOM, MISSING CENTER LINE OF
 WATER CLOSET TO THE NEAREST SIDE WALL AND THE DISTANCE
 OF THE REAR GRAB BAR IN COMPLIANCE WITH 604.5.2 REAR
 WALL. THE REAR WALL GRAB BAR SHALL BE 36 INCHES (915
 MM) LONG MINIMUM AND EXTEND FROM THE CENTERLINE OF THE
 WATER CLOSET 12 INCHES (305 MM) MINIMUM ON ONE SIDE AND
 24 INCHES (610 MM) MINIMUM ON THE OTHER SIDE.
  
 1E) SHEET LS1.0 & A1.01 BOTH SHOW CLOSET DOORS 229 &
 236 BOTH ARE LESS THAN A 36 WIDE DOOR. PLEASE SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE SECTION
 404.2.3 CLEAR WIDTH. OPENINGS MORE THAN 24 INCHES (610
 MM) DEEP SHALL PROVIDE A CLEAR OPENING OF 36 INCHES
 (915 MM) MINIMUM.
 404.2.4 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES. 404.2.4.1 SWINGING
 DOORS AND GATES. SWINGING DOORS AND GATES SHALL HAVE
 MANEUVERING CLEARANCES COMPLYING WITH TABLE 404.2.4.1
  
 2) PLEASE PROVIDE A LETTER INDICATING COMPLIANCE WITH
 THE 2014 ACCESSIBILITY CODE 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES
 IN THE EVENT OF DISPROPORTIONALITY. THE VALUE OF THIS
 PERMIT WOULD REQUIRE A VALUE OF $19,600 DOLLARS IN
 UPGRADES TO MEET DISPROPORTIONALITY.
 2014 ACCESSIBILITY CODE 202.4.2 ACCESSIBLE FEATURES IN
 THE EVENT OF DISPROPORTIONALITY.
 WHEN THE COST OF ALTERATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH
 OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE COST OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION,
 THE PATH OF TRAVEL SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE
 EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE MADE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING
 DISPROPORTIONATE COSTS. IN CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE
 ELEMENTS TO PROVIDE, PRIORITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE

 ONE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM FOR EACH SEX OR A SINGLE UNISEX
 RESTROOM; (IV) ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES; (V) ACCESSIBLE
 DRINKING FOUNTAINS; AND (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL
 ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND
 ALARMS.
  
 3) SHEET A1.0.1. INDICATES (3) WINDOWS NEXT TO THE
 LATCH SIDE OF SWING DOORS. THE WINDOW SCHEDULE ALSO ON
 THE SAME PAGE IN THE NOTE SECTION THERE IS NO MENTION
 OF SAFETY GLAZING REQUIREMENT 2406.4.2 OF THE 2014
 FBC-B. GLAZING ADJACENT TO DOORS. GLAZING IN AN
 INDIVIDUAL FIXED OR OPERABLE PANEL ADJACENT TO A DOOR
 WHERE THE NEAREST VERTICAL EDGE OF THE GLAZING IS
 WITHIN A 24-INCH (610 MM) ARC OF EITHER VERTICAL EDGE
 OF THE DOOR IN A CLOSED POSITION AND WHERE THE BOTTOM
 EXPOSED EDGE OF THE GLAZING IS LESS THAN 60 INCHES
 (1524 MM) ABOVE THE WALKING SURFACE SHALL BE CONSIDERED
 A HAZARDOUS LOCATION.
 NOTE: SHEET A3.0 DETAIL # 7 SHOWS A TEMPERED GLASS
 DETAIL BUT THERE IS NO CUT SECTIONS ON SHEET A1.01
 REFERENCING THIS DETAIL, 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL

 4) SHEET A2.0 DETAIL A THE BREAK ROOM ON THE RIGHT SIDE
 OF THE DETAIL THERE APPEARS TO BE CABINETS AND POSSIBLY
 A STOVE, THEY SHOW ON THE DEMOLITION SHEET, WHY ARE
 THESE LINES THERE, IF THEY ARE DEMO LINES THEY SHOULD
 BE TURNED OFF, SINCE THIS SHEET REPRESENTS NEW WORK.
 THE LINES REPRESENTED ARE NOT DEMO LINES, THEN WHAT DO
 THEY REPRESENT? 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS
 REQUIRED.
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
