 1. WINDOW REMOVAL IS NOT TYPICALLY PERMITTED WITHOUT A
 PERMIT TO RESTORE THE BUILDING TO A WATERTIGHT
 CONDITION. PLEASE ADDRESS BY DOING ONE OF THE FOLLOWING
 (FBC 107):
  
 REMOVE FROM SCOPE, OR
 REVISE PLAN TO INCLUDE MASONRY INFILL AND WINDOWS, OR
 VIA EMAIL, PROVIDE INFORMATION REGARDING RATIONALE AND
 TIME FRAME (THIS IS NOT PREFERABLE).
  
 2. PLEASE HAVE THE ARCHITECT WHO IS WORKING ON THE PLAN
 CONTACT ME REGARDING EXITING STRATEGY. PER BUILDING
 OFFICIAL, DUE TO THE STAIRS WHICH ARE NOT REMOTELY
 LOCATED IN THIS EXISTING BUILDING (BUILT IN COMPLIANCE,
 LEVEL 3 ALTERATION, CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY TO A HIGHER
 HAZARD CATEGORY), TWO SMOKE DOORS (WITH HOLD OPEN) AND
 A SMOKE CONTROL SYSTEM WILL LIKELY BE REQUIRED.
  
 IT IS UNDERSTOOD THAT THIS WILL BE A PART OF THE
 BUILDING PERMIT, BUT RECOMMENDED TO HAVE THIS RESOLVED
 PRIOR TO PERMIT SUBMITTAL AS APPROVAL BY BUILDING
 OFFICIAL AND FIRE DEPT. WILL BE REQUIRED; FBC EB 805.2
