 BUILDING DEPARTMENT. FOR ALL PRODUCTS WITH GLAZING,
 PLEASE IDENTIFY THE OPENING WIDTH & HEIGHT, TYPE OF
 GLAZING, MULLION INFORMATION IF REQUIRED, ATTACHMENTS
 AND ASSOCIATE PRESSURES FOR EACH OPENING SIZE. 2014
 FBC-B 1405.13.1 INSTALLATION. WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL
 BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPROVED MANUFACTURERS
 INSTRUCTIONS. FASTENER SIZE AND SPACING SHALL BE
 PROVIDED IN SUCH INSTRUCTIONS AND SHALL BE CALCULATED
 BASED ON MAXIMUM LOADS AND SPACING USED IN THE TESTS.
  
 6) BUILDING PROVISO/ DEFERRED SUBMITTAL: FBC 107.3.4.1
 PRODUCT APPROVALS. THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED
 BY THE DCA RULE 9N-03 SHALL BE REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN
 WRITING BY THE DESIGNER OF RECORD PRIOR TO SUBMITTAL
 FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL. FL 61G1-23.015 (2) THE
 ARCHITECT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SUPERVISING AND REVIEWING
 ALL PROJECT DATA, REPORTS, SHOP DRAWINGS ETC..
  
 7A) 2ND REQUEST. THE PLANS DO NOT INDICATE IF THERE IS
 PROTECTION FROM DRIVING RAIN. SEE 1ST ROUND OF
 COMMENTS.
 1ST ROUND COMMENTS. 1710.5.1.1FBC-B EXTERIOR WINDOWS
 AND DOORS. (EXCEPTION) 2. DOOR ASSEMBLIES INSTALLED
 WHERE THE OVERHANG (OH) RATIO IS EQUAL TO OR MORE THAN
 1 NEED NOT BE TESTED FOR WATER INFILTRATION. THE
 OVERHANG RATIO SHALL BE CALCULATED BY THE FOLLOWING
 EQUATION:
 OH RATIO = OH LENGTH/OH HEIGHT
 WHERE:
 OH LENGTH = THE HORIZONTAL MEASURE OF HOW FAR AN
 OVERHANG OVER A DOOR PROJECTS OUT FROM DOOR SURFACE.
 OH HEIGHT = THE VERTICAL MEASURE OF THE DISTANCE FROM
 THE DOOR SILL TO THE BOTTOM OF THE OVERHANG OVER A
 DOOR.
  
 7B) PLEASE BE ADVISED WITH THE USE OF NANA WALL SYSTEM,
 IN THE OUTSWING DOOR SYSTEM NOA 15-0226.05 HAS A ADA
 COMPLIANT SILL, AND WITH THE ADA COMPLIANT SILL THERE
 IS A NOTE THAT THE DOORS ARE NOT APPROVED WHERE WATER
 RESISTANCE IS REQUIRED, PAGE 7 OF 8 IN THE NOA. THE
 OTHER SILL HEIGHT OF THE PRODUCT APPROVAL PAGE 6 OF 8
 IS APPROXIMATELY 2 ? INCHES IN HEIGHT. SHEET A2.0.2.
 SHOWS A SILL WITH A HEIGHT OF 4 INCHES, PLEASE HAVE
 NANA WALL PROVIDE A LETTER ON THEIR LETTER HEAD STATING
 A 4 INCH HIGH SILL IS AVAILABLE WITH THIS SYSTEM.
 PLEASE PROVIDE HOW THE 4 INCH SILL IS GOING TO MEET THE
 REQUIREMENTS OF THE ACCESSIBILITY CODE UNDER SECTION
 404.2.4 OF THE 2014 ACCESSIBILITY CODE.
  
 7C) PLEASE NOTE WITH NANA DOOR PRODUCT APPROVAL NOA
 15-0226.05 WILL NOT MEET THE PRESSUES FOR THE DOORS
 LOCATED IN ZONE # 5. SHEET A2.01 INDICATES NEGAITIVE
 PREUUSRES OF - 131.1 FOR 20 SQ. FT. IN ZONE 5. THE
 TECHNICAL SHEET 1OF 8 IN THE NOA INDICATES THE HIGHEST
 NEGATIVE PRESSURES OF -90 TO THE LOWEST NEGATIVE
 PRESSURES OF -70 DEPENDING ON THE PANEL SIZE.
  
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. THERE ARE 2 ISSUES, THE PLANS DO
 NOT PROVIDE A CUT SECTION THROUGH THE INTERIOR FINISH
 FLOOR, TRACK AND THE EXTERIOR FINISH FLOOR WITH NEW
 TILE. SHEET A2.02 DOOR & HARDWARE NOTE NUMBER 14
 INDICATES ALL THRESHOLDS SHALL HAVE NO STEP GREATER
 THAN ? INCH PER A.D.A. REQUIREMENTS. WITH NOT SEEING
 THE PRODUCT APPROVAL FOR THE EURO WALL SYSTEM THIS MAY
 OR MAY NOT BE AN ISSUE BUT A LOT OF THESE DOOR SYSTEMS
 HAVE DISCLAIMERS LIKE, WHEN AN ADA/ FLUSH SILL IS USED,
 THESE DOORS ARE NOT APPROVED FOR THE USE WHERE WATER
 INFILTRATION RESISTANCE IS REQUIRED. 107.2.1.3
 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.

 8C) 2ND REQUEST. SHEET A2.01. DOOR 328B IN ANY POSITION
 SHALL NOT REDUCE THE REQUIRED WIDTH BY ONE-HALF OF THE
 REQUIRED EGRESS WIDTH. FBC-B 1005.7.1. YOU CAN RECESS
 THE DOOR FURTHER INTO THE CLOSET TO GET THE ONE HALF OF
 THE REQUIRED WIDTH.
  
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. DOOR 328B BLOCKS THE EGRESS
 PATH, MUST COMPLY WITH FBC-B 1005.7 ENCROACHMENT.
 ENCROACHMENTS INTO THE REQUIRED MEANS OF EGRESS WIDTH
 SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS
 SECTION.
 1005.7.1 DOORS. DOORS, WHEN FULLY OPENED, SHALL NOT
 REDUCE THE REQUIRED WIDTH BY MORE THAN 7 INCHES (178
 MM). DOORS IN ANY POSITION SHALL NOT REDUCE THE
 REQUIRED WIDTH BY MORE THAN ONE-HALF.
  
 8D) 2ND REQUEST. PLEASE NOTE THE REVISED PLAN SHOWS THE
 STAIRWELLS AT THE ENDS OF THE BUILDING BUT THERE IS NO
 SEPARATION OF AN ELEVATOR LOBBY FROM THE CORRIDOR. THE
 ELEVATOR LOBBY IS CONTINUOUS SINCE SMOKE CAN GO FROM
 THE ELEVATOR SHAFT AND FILL UP THE CORRIDOR. THAT IS
 WHY YOU EITHER PRESSURIZE THE ELEVATOR SHAFT OR MEET
 ONE OF THE OTHER EXCEPTIONS PROVIDED IN FBC-B 713.14.1
 OR EXCEPTIONS.
  
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. PLEASE PROVIDE AN OVERALL FLOOR
 PLAN FOR THIS FLOOR. IF THE WORK AREA IS OVER 50 % OF
 THE FLOOR PLATE THEN
 PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE 2014 EXISTING BUILDING
 CODE 803.2.2 SUPPLEMENTAL SHAFT AND FLOOR OPENING
 ENCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS. WHERE THE WORK AREA ON ANY
 FLOOR EXCEEDS 50 PERCENT OF THAT FLOOR AREA, THE
 ENCLOSURE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 803.2 SHALL APPLY TO
 VERTICAL OPENINGS OTHER THAN STAIRWAYS THROUGHOUT THE
 FLOOR. THE 2007 EXISTING COMMENTARY ON THE EXISTING
 BUILDING CODE SPEAKS ABOUT THE FIRST TIME THE CODE
 REQUIRES WORK OUTSIDE OF THE TENANT SPACE. SINCE THE
 DESIGNER OF RECORD IS ALREADY WORKING OUTSIDE OF THE
 TENANT SPACE THIS COMMENT IF OVER 50 % OF THE FLOOR
 PLATE IS BEING CONSIDERED THE WORK AREA THEN THIS
 COMMENT STANDS.
 THE PLANS DO NOT SHOW WHERE EITHER OF THE TENANT SPACES
 HAVE AT LEAST ONE MEANS OF EGRESS WITH NOT GOING
 THROUGH THE ELEVATOR LOBBY. 2014 FBC-B 713.14.1 AND
 EXCEPTIONS 1-7, PLEASE PROVIDE CODE COMPLIANCE.
  
 9-10) COMPLIED.
  
 11) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY, COLLATE AND STAPLE INTO SETS OF PLANS. A
 TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL REVIEW COMMENT
 NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE REVISION MADE,
 IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION PAGE WHERE THE
 CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT.
