 COMMENTS.
 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- ACCORDING TO PALM BEACH COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER
 WEBSITE AND MAIN HOUSE RENOVATION PERMIT #16020238 THE
 EXISTING ROOFING IS SHINGLES NOT TILE. SCOPE
 DESCRIPTION IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TO "RE-ROOF
 TILE TO TILE". THIS IS INCORRECT. CONTRACTOR TO REVISE
 THE DESCRIPTION IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION AND PROVIDE
 ACCURATE INFORMATION. SEC. 107.2 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 2- THE LOAD ON THE ROOF IS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED WHEN
 INSTALLING ROOF TILE INSTEAD OF SHINGLES. PROVIDE
 ENGINEER ANALYSIS SHOWING THAT THE EXISTING STRUCTURE
 IS CAPABLE OF SUPPORTING THE ADDITIONAL ROOF LOAD. SEC.
 R301.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014) AND SEC.
 107.2.1.3 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 3- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION WAS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS AND
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AS REQUIRED BY SEC.
 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS. THE VALUATION WAS UPDATED TO
 $17,190 USING THE AVERAGE PRICES FROM THE "MARSHALL
 VALUATION SERVICE". THE PERMIT FEE BALANCE IS $170.12.
