 1- PROVIDE ENERGY CALCULATIONS ( 2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R101.4.3 AND R101.4.4 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION,
 5TH EDITION (2014).
 NOTE: ENERGY CALCULATIONS TO INCLUDE THE GARAGE
 CONVERSION AND THE ENCLOSED PORCH CONVERSION. SEE ITEM
 #3 BELOW.
  
 2- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.) FOR IMPACT FEE ASSESSMENT.
 BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE.
 NOTE: THIS IS FOR THE CONVERSION OF GARAGE TO MASTER
 BEDROOM AND ENCLOSED PORCH TO LEISURE ROOM.
  
 3- REVISE THE LEVEL OF ALTERATION AND SCOPE OF WORK
 SPECIFIED ON SHEET A-1 TO INCLUDE CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY.

 4- NEW MASTER BEDROOM: CLEARLY SPECIFY TYPE OF EGRESS
 WINDOW. AND, PROVIDE MANUFACTURER'S CUT SHEETS FOR THE
 SPECIFIED SIZE (24EH) TO VERIFY COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 EGRESS REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R310 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. ALSO,
 REVISE THE WINDOW EGRESS NOTE SHOWN ON SHEET A-2 BELOW
 THE PROPOSED FLOOR PLAN. THE CODE TO BE REFERENCED FOR
 SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCES IS THE RESIDENTIAL CODE NOT
 THE BUILDING CODE. THE CORRECT SEC. IS R310. ALSO, IS
 MISSING THE MINIMUM HEIGHT DIMENSION. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 5- SPECIFY CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS BY ALL THE BEDROOMS
 AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R315.1 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION
 (2014).
  
 6- WINDOWS IN THE LEISURE ROOM BY THE NEW WASHER/DRYER
 NEED TO HAVE SAFETY GLASS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R308.4.2
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THIS REQUIREMENT.
  
 7- NEW LEISURE ROOM: PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 INSULATION IN WALLS AND CEILING. NOTE: COORDINATE WITH
 THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS. SEC.
 R103.2 FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION.
  
 8- NEW MASTER BEDROOM: PROVIDE SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE
 INSULATION IN WALLS. NOTE: COORDINATE WITH THE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS TO AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS. SEC. R103.2

 9- INSULATION VALUE SPECIFIED IN THE FLOOR PLAN IN
 SHEET A-2 DOESN'T MATCH INSULATION VALUE SPECIFIED IN
 THE SECTION SHOWN IN SHEET A-3. REVISE AS REQUIRED TO
 MATCH. COORDINATE WITH THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS. SEC.
 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 10- SECTION DETAILS IN SHEET A-3: R-30 BATT INSULATION
 IS 9-1/2" THICK +/-. SPECIFY SIZE OF FRAMING MEMBERS TO
 VERIFY THAT R-30 BATT INSULATION WILL FIT AND WILL ALSO
 ALLOW THE 1" CLEARANCE FOR ATTIC VENTILATION AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. R806.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL. NOTE:
 COORDINATE INSULATION VALUE WITH THE ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS.
  
 11- DEMOLITION PLAN IN SHEET A-3: THE LEISURE ROOM IS
 THE PROPOSED USE OF THIS ROOM. CURRENTLY THIS IS AN
 ENCLOSED PORCH NOT LEISURE ROOM. REVISE NAME OF ROOM AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 12- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.001 FOR:
 A) NEW WINDOW AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS FOR THE NEW MASTER
 BEDROOM.
  
 B) NEW SWING DOOR AS SPECIFIED ON PLANS FOR THE NEW
 LEISURE ROOM.
  
 C) SHUTTERS IF WINDOW AND DOOR DON'T HAVE IMPACT
 GLAZING. AND, PROVIDE COMPLETE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE.
 SEE CITY SAMPLE.
  
 D) ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS SPECIFIED ON PLANS
 AND DETAILS FOR THE FRAMING OF EXTERIOR WALLS. PROVIDE
 ONLY THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND PAGE
 SHOWING THE SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR ARCHITECT TO LIST
 THE FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL NEXT TO EACH SPECIFIED
 CONNECTOR.
  
 13- ARCHITECT OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN
 WRITING ( NOT SIGNING AND SEALING) ALL PRODUCT
 APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 14- PROVIDE COMPLETE FRAMING DETAILS AND SPECIFICATIONS
 FOR THE NEW LEISURE ROOM EXTERIOR DOOR. SPECIFY ALL
 FRAMING MEMBERS AND CONNECTORS. SEC. R301.1

 15- PROVIDE COMPLIANCE WITH THE HEATING REQUIREMENTS OF
 SEC. R303.9 FBC-RESIDENTIAL FOR THE NEW MASTER BEDROOM.
  
 16- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL THE LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR'S OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND ALL DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS. REVISE VALUATION AS REQUIRED AND INCLUDE
 THE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES.
  
 ****PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH
 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
 ****PLEASE INSERT ANY REVISED DRAWING AND REMOVE OLD
 DRAWING. DON'T STAPLE OLD DRAWINGS TO PLANS. SUBMIT OLD
 DRAWINGS FOR REVIEW.
