 DENIED BY BUILDING
 PLEASE ADDRESS THE ITEMS NOTED BELOW:
  
 1) SUBMIT TWO SETS OF A SURFACE WATER DRAINAGE PLAN
 THAT SHOWS COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-R 401.3 DRAINAGE.
 SURFACE DRAINAGE SHALL BE DIVERTED TO A STORM SEWER
 CONVEYANCE OR OTHER APPROVED POINT OF COLLECTION THAT
 DOES NOT CREATE A HAZARD. LOTS SHALL BE GRADED TO DRAIN
 SURFACE WATER AWAY FROM FOUNDATION WALLS. THE GRADE
 SHALL FALL A MINIMUM OF 6 INCHES (152 MM) WITHIN THE
 FIRST 10 FEET (3048 MM).
  
 2) THIS PROJECT IS UNDER THE 2014 FBC. THERE ARE
 REFERENCES TO THE 2010 FBC UNDER THE STRUCTURAL NOTES
 ON SHEET S.1. PLEASE REVISE.
  
 3) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-R318.1 FOR TERMITE
 PROTECTION.
  
 4) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC-R318.5 CONDENSATE LINES,
 IRRIGATION/SPRINKLER SYSTEM RISERS FOR SPRAY HEADS, AND
 ROOF DOWNSPOUTS SHALL DISCHARGE AT LEAST 1 FOOT (305
 MM) AWAY FROM THE STRUCTURE SIDEWALL, WHETHER BY
 UNDERGROUND PIPING, TAIL EXTENSIONS OR SPLASH BLOCKS.
 GUTTERS WITH DOWNSPOUTS ARE REQUIRED ON ALL BUILDINGS
 WITH EAVES OF LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM) HORIZONTAL
 PROJECTION EXCEPT FOR GABLE END RAKES OR ON A ROOF
 ABOVE ANOTHER ROOF.
  
 5) THE PLANS DO NOT SPECIFY ANY REINFORCEMENT IN THE 4"
 CONCRETE FLOOR SLAB. DUE TO THE SOIL CONDITIONS, IT IS
 REQUIRED THAT THE SLAB IS LIGHTLY REINFORCED USING 6 X
 6 WELDED WIRE FABRIC. FBC-R506.1 & ACI 332
  
 6) SPECIFY THE SLOPE OF THE HIP ROOF ON THE PLANS.

 7) PROVIDE WINDOW AND DOOR BUCK DETAILS ON THE PLANS.
  
 8) PROVIDE STRUCTURAL DETAILS FOR THE LEDGERS THAT ARE
 SUPPORTING THE ROOF TRUSSES.
  
 9) PROVIDE THE ROOF UPLIFT VALUES FOR A 10 SQFT
 EFFECTIVE WIND AREA.
  
 10) IN THE TABLE ON SHEET S.3 THE ROOF UPLIFT VALUES
 FOR ZONES 2 AND 3 ARE IDENTICAL. THE PARAPET IS
 REQUIRED TO BE 3 FEET HIGH AROUND THE ENTIRE PERIMETER
 OF THE ROOF IN ORDER FOR THE ZONE 2 (PERIMETER)
 PRESSURES TO BE THE SAME AS THE ZONE 3 (CORNER)
 PRESSURES. ACSE 7 - 10.
  
 11) PROVIDE SCUPPER SIZING CALCULATIONS. FBC 107.2.1 &
 FBC- PLUMBING 1106.7
  
 12) R903.4.1 OVERFLOW DRAINS AND SCUPPERS. WHEN OTHER
 MEANS OF DRAINAGE OF OVERFLOW WATER IS NOT PROVIDED,
 OVERFLOW SCUPPERS SHALL BE PLACED IN WALLS OR PARAPETS
 NOT LESS THAN 2 INCHES (51 MM) NOR MORE THAN 4 INCHES
 (102 MM) ABOVE THE FINISHED ROOF COVERING AND SHALL BE
 LOCATED AS CLOSE AS PRACTICAL TO REQUIRED VERTICAL
 LEADERS OR DOWNSPOUTS OR WALL AND PARAPET SCUPPERS. AN
 OVERFLOW SCUPPER SHALL BE SIZED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, PLUMBING.
  
 13) THE PLANS SHOW LOUVERED WALL ATTIC VENTS ON SHEET
 A.2 AND THE ENERGY FORM SPECIFIES AN UNVENTED ATTIC.
 PLEASE CLARIFY FBC 107.2.1
  
 14) IF THE ATTIC IS VENTED PROVIDE THE NET FREE AREA OF
 THE VENTS AND THE CALCULATIONS FOR MINIMUM VENT AREA
 PER FBC - R806.2
  
 15) IF THIS IS AN UNVENTED ATTIC SHOW THAT IT COMPLIES
 WITH FBC-R806.5 UNVENTED ATTIC AND UNVENTED ENCLOSED
 RAFTER ASSEMBLIES. UNVENTED ATTIC ASSEMBLIES (SPACES
 BETWEEN THE CEILING JOISTS OF THE TOP STORY AND THE
 ROOF RAFTERS) AND UNVENTED ENCLOSED RAFTER ASSEMBLIES
 (SPACES BETWEEN CEILINGS THAT ARE APPLIED DIRECTLY TO
 THE UNDERSIDE OF ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS/RAFTERS AND THE
 STRUCTURAL ROOF SHEATHING AT THE TOP OF THE ROOF
 FRAMING MEMBERS/RAFTERS) SHALL BE PERMITTED IF ALL THE
 FOLLOWING CONDITIONS ARE MET:
  
 1. THE UNVENTED ATTIC SPACE IS COMPLETELY CONTAINED
 WITHIN THE BUILDING THERMAL ENVELOPE.
  
 2. NO INTERIOR CLASS I VAPOR RETARDERS ARE INSTALLED ON
 THE CEILING SIDE (ATTIC FLOOR) OF THE UNVENTED ATTIC
 ASSEMBLY OR ON THE CEILING SIDE OF THE UNVENTED
 ENCLOSED RAFTER ASSEMBLY.
  
 3. WHERE WOOD SHINGLES OR SHAKES ARE USED, A MINIMUM
 1/4- INCH (6 MM) VENTED AIR SPACE SEPARATES THE
 SHINGLES OR SHAKES AND THE ROOFING UNDERLAYMENT ABOVE
 THE STRUCTURAL SHEATHING.
  
 4. IN CLIMATE ZONES 5, 6, 7 AND 8 OF TABLE R301.1 OF
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, ENERGY CONSERVATION, ANY
 AIRIMPERMEABLE INSULATION SHALL BE A CLASS II VAPOR
 RETARDER, OR SHALL HAVE A CLASS III VAPOR RETARDER
 COATING OR COVERING IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE
 UNDERSIDE OF THE INSULATION.
  
 5. EITHER ITEMS 5.1, 5.2 OR 5.3 SHALL BE MET, DEPENDING
 ON THE AIR PERMEABILITY OF THE INSULATION DIRECTLY
 UNDER THE STRUCTURAL ROOF SHEATHING.
  
 5.1. AIR-IMPERMEABLE INSULATION ONLY. INSULATION SHALL
 BE APPLIED IN DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE UNDERSIDE OF THE
 STRUCTURAL ROOF SHEATHING.
  
 5.2. AIR-PERMEABLE INSULATION ONLY. IN ADDITION TO THE
 AIR-PERMEABLE INSULATION INSTALLED DIRECTLY BELOW THE
 STRUCTURAL SHEATHING, RIGID BOARD OR SHEET INSULATION
 SHALL BE INSTALLED DIRECTLY ABOVE THE STRUCTURAL ROOF
 SHEATHING AS SPECIFIED IN TABLE R806.5 FOR CONDENSATION
 CONTROL.
  
 5.3. AIR-IMPERMEABLE AND AIR-PERMEABLE INSULATION. THE
 AIR-IMPERMEABLE INSULATION SHALL BE APPLIED IN DIRECT
 CONTACT WITH THE UNDERSIDE OF THE STRUCTURAL ROOF
 SHEATHING AS SPECIFIED IN TABLE R806.5 FOR CONDENSATION
 CONTROL. THE AIR-PERMEABLE INSULATION SHALL BE
 INSTALLED DIRECTLY UNDER THE AIR-IMPERMEABLE
 INSULATION.
  
 5.4. WHERE PREFORMED INSULATION BOARD IS USED AS THE
 AIR-IMPERMEABLE INSULATION LAYER, IT SHALL BE SEALED AT
 THE PERIMETER OF EACH INDIVIDUAL SHEET INTERIOR SURFACE
 TO FORM A CONTINUOUS LAYER.
  
 16) SUBMIT THE PRODUCT EVALUATION REPORT OF THE SPRAY
 FOAM INSULATION (IF APPLICABLE). FBC-R316
  
 17) FBC 107.3.4 - PROVIDE TWO SETS OF PRODUCT APPROVALS
 FOR THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY FAC
 61G20-3.001 PER FLORIDA STATUTE 553.842 (5) THAT HAVE
 BEEN REVIEWED AND APPROVED IN WRITING BY THE DESIGNER
 OF RECORD. PROVIDE TWO COMPLETE PRODUCT APPROVALS WITH
 FL OR NOA NUMBERS INCLUDING INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
 AND MAXIMUM DESIGN PRESSURES FOR EACH OF THE DIFFERENT
 ROOFING MATERIALS, AND THE CASEMENT WINDOWS.
  
 18) SUBMIT AN ADDITIONAL SET OF PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR
 THE ONES THAT WERE SUBMITTED. TWO SETS ARE REQUIRED.

 19) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE SUBMIT
 A RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
