 ADMINISTRATION
  
 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 ACTION: DENIED
  
 1) THE SUBMITTED COOLER/ FREEZER PLANS DO NOT HAVE
 APPROVAL FOR THE EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING. IF SO PLEASE
 SUBMIT STATE APPROVAL. THIS HAS BEEN VERIFIED BY THE
 MECHANICAL PLAN REVIEWER THIS MANUFACTURER HAS NO STATE
 APPROVAL FOR THE COOLER/ FREEZER UNITS FOR EXTERNAL
 USE. PLEASE NOTE THE S2 & S3 SHEETS DO NOT PROVIDE
 ENOUGH DETAILS. SHEET S2 HAS A CUT SECTION 9/S3 SHOWN
 FOR BOTH THE EAST AND WEST ELEVATIONS SHOWING THE WALLS
 ENCLOSED AND BENEATH THE ROOF STRUCTURE, AND 2 LAYERS
 OF BOARD ON BOARD SCREEN WALL.
 IT WOULD APPEAR THERE ARE NO OPENINGS TO ENTER THIS
 MECHANICAL ROOM. I?VE GONE TO THE APPROVE PLANS FOR
 VERIFICATION OF WHAT WAS APPROVED. SHEET A001.1 SHOWS
 THE WEST FACE OF THE STRUCTURE IS TO BE 5 FT. -1 IN.
 FROM THE PROPERTY LINE. SHEET A008 SHOWS THE EAST,
 NORTH AND WEST ELEVATIONS OF THIS AREA. THE EAST WALL
 DOES SHOW AN OPENING AS LARGE AS A GARAGE DOOR. THE
 NORTH WALL NO OPENINGS, AND THE WEST WALL AS OPEN. THIS
 IS A CODE VIOLATION; THE PLANS SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN
 ISSUED WITH THE WEST FACE OPEN. SINCE THE STRUCTURE IS
 5 FT. 1 INCH FROM THE PROPERTY LINE THIS WALL SHOULD BE
 1 HOUR RATED. THIS IS PROTECT THIS PROPERTY AS WELL AS
 THE NEIGHBORING PROPERTY FROM FIRE, SEE 2014 FBC-B
 TABLE 602 FOR ALL BUILDING TYPES AND OCCUPANCIES.
  
 THE OTHER ISSUE THAT WOULD NEED TO BE ADDRESSED SINCE
 THE PLANS DO NOT STATE IF THIS STRUCTURE IS DESIGNED AS
 AN ENCLOSED OR PARTIALLY ENCLOSED STRUCTURE. SHEET S1
 INDICATES THE MAIN BUILDING TO BE DESIGNED AS AN
 ENCLOSED STRUCTURE. 2014 FBC-B 1603.1.4 WIND DESIGN
 DATA. (4). APPLICABLE PRESSURE COEFFICIENT. PLEASE NOTE
 IF THE ENCLOSURE IS OPEN OR PARTIALLY OPEN THEN THE
 COOLER/ FREEZERS WILL HAVE TO HAVE BEEN TESTED FOR
 THESE CONDITIONS!!!!!
  
 IF THE DESIGNER ELECTS TO ENCLOSE THE STRUCTURE WITH A
 DOOR SYSTEM THEN AS STATED BY THE MECHANICAL REVIEWER
 AIR CIRCULATION AND VENTING MAYBE A CONCERN IF THE
 CONDENSERS ARE LOCATED WITHIN THIS ENCLOSED SPACE,
 LOUVERS AND NEED TO BE CONSIDERED AND PRODUCT APPROVALS

 2) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
