 CODE; FBC 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- ACCORDING TO PALM BEACH COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER
 THE VALUE OF THE STRUCTURE IS MORE THAN $300.000. NEED
 TO COMPLY WITH THE ROOF TO WALL CONNECTIONS AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. 708.8 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING, 5TH EDITION
 (2014).
 EXCEPTION: "ROOF-TO-WALL CONNECTIONS SHALL NOT BE
 REQUIRED UNLESS EVALUATION AND INSTALLATION OF
 CONNECTIONS AT GABLE ENDS OR ALL CORNERS CAN BE
 COMPLETED FOR 15 PERCENT OF THE COST OF ROOF
 REPLACEMENT.".
 NOTE: A COMPLETE ITEMIZED EVALUATION AND COST ESTIMATE
 DONE BY QUALIFIED PEOPLE WILL BE REQUIRED WHEN THE
 EXCEPTION OPTION IS TAKEN.
  
 2- RAS 117 CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 A) NAIL SPACING SPECIFIED FOR THE CORNER AREAS NEEDS TO
 BE REVISED. ACCORDING TO CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED THE
 NAIL SPACING FOR TWO ROWS IS 3.64 INCHES. SEC. 8.1 RAS
 117 DOESN'T ALLOW NAIL SPACING LESS THAN 4 INCHES.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED.
  
 B) FASTENER SPACING CONCLUSIONS/RECOMMENDATIONS ON PAGE
 3 OF 3 IS VERY CONFUSING. FASTENER SPACING FOR CORNER
 AREA IS IN THE SAME PARAGRAPH OF THE FASTENER SPACING
 FOR PERIMETER AREA. SAME THING APPLIES TO FASTENER
 SPACING FOR FIELD AREA. CLEARLY PLACE THE FASTENER
 SPACING FOR EACH ROOF ZONE IN THE SAME PARAGRAPH TO
 AVOID CONFLICTS. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
