 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A-1 THE COVERSHEET:
  
 1A) THE PLANS NOTE THIS IS A BUSINESS OCCUPANCY. PLEASE
 NOTE IT IS A MIXED USE OCCUPANCY, BETWEEN BUSINESS AND
 STORAGE OCCUPANCY. WHEN A ACCESSORY OCCUPANCY IS OVER
 10 % OF THE FLOOR AREA, IT IN NO LONGER AN ACCESSORY
 OCCUPANCY. 2014 FGBC-B 508.2.1 AREA LIMITATIONS.
  
 1B) THE DESIGNER OF RECORD WILL NEED TO INDICATE THE
 TYPE OF ITEMS TO BE STORED WHICH WILL EITHER MAKE IT AN
 S1 OR S2 OCCUPANCY. DEPENDING ON WHICH TYPE OF STORAGE
 OCCUPANCY THAT IS DECLARED FIRE RATED WALLS MAYBE BE

 OCCUPANCIES.
  
 1C) WITH THE STORAGE OCCUPANCY THE CLOSEST USE WOULD BE
 THE STORAGE OCCUPANCY FOR MERCANTILE WHERE THE OCCUPANT
 LOAD WOULD BE TAKEN AT 300 GROSS FOR STORAGE, STOCK AND
 SHIPPING. FBC-B TABLE 1004.1.2.
  
 1D) PLEASE NOTE WHEN THERE IS A FRACTION OF A OCCUPANT

 COMMON PATH OF TRAVEL FROM THE FAR SIDE OF THE BREAK
 ROOM TO BE 79 FEET 8 INCHES. PLEASE REVIEW FBC-B TABLE
 1014.3 FOR BUSINESS OCCUPANCY > THAN 30 IN A
 NON-SPRINKLERED BUILDING IS 75 FEET. THIS MAY OR MAY
 NOT BE AN ISSUE WITH THE OCCUPANT LOAD BEING SPLIT
 BETWEEN THE BUSINESS AND STORAGE OCCUPANCY, THE COUNT
 MAYBE EQUAL TO OR LOWER THAN 30 WHICH WILL ALLOW A
 TRAVEL DISTANCE OF 100 FEET.

 3B) THE DETAIL # 3 SHOWS THE HANDRAIL SYSTEM AND THE
 HANDRAIL EXTENSION AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STAIRS IS TO
 CONTINUE THE SLOPE FOR THE DEPTH OF ONE TREAD BEYOND
 THE BOTTOM RISER. FBC-B 1012.6 HANDRAIL EXTENSIONS.
 3C) THE SAME DETAIL # 3 THE BOTTOM HORIZONTAL MEMBER OF
 THE HANDRAIL THAT RETURNS BACK UNDER THE HANDRAIL IS TO
 BE NO HIGHER THAN 27 INCHES FROM THE FINISH FLOOR OR
 GRADE. FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 307.2 AND FIGURE 307.2.
 LIMITS OF PROTRUDING OBJECTS.

 OF A STAIR, FORMED BY THE RISER, TREAD AND BOTTOM RAIL
 SHALL NOT ALLOW PASSAGE OF A SPHERE 6 INCHES (152 MM)

 3E) DETAIL # 1 THE RAMP HANDRAIL/ GUARDRAIL SYSTEM DOES
 NOT PROVIDE THE DIMENSION BETWEEN THE BOTTOM FRAMING
 MEMBER OF THE HANDRAIL/ GUARDRAIL SYSTEM AND THE SLAB,
 PLEASE REVIEW 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE 405.9.2 CURB
 OR BARRIER.
  
 4) SHEET A12 SHOWS THE ELEVATIONS FOR THE NEW
 STOREFRONT WINDOW AND DOOR SYSTEM. THE PRODUCT
 APPROVALS FOR EACH SYSTEM HAVE BEEN SUBMITTED BUT THERE
 IS NO WIND DESIGN CRITERIA TO VERIFY THE PRESSURES.
 2014 FBC-B 1603.1.4 WIND DESIGN DATA. THE FOLLOWING
 INFORMATION RELATED TO WIND LOADS SHALL BE SHOWN,
 REGARDLESS OF WHETHER WIND LOADS GOVERN THE DESIGN OF
 THE LATERAL FORCE-RESISTING SYSTEM OF THE STRUCTURE:
  
 4.1. ULTIMATE DESIGN WIND SPEED, VULT, (3-SECOND GUST),
