 CHECKLIST.
 CODE: FBC 5TH EDITION (2014)
  
 1- NEW COMMENT: ENGINEER OF RECORD CHANGED THE SCOPE OF
 WORK SHOWN ON SHEET S-1. ALTERATION LEVEL WAS CHANGED
 FROM ALTERATION LEVEL 3 TO ALTERATION LEVEL 2. THIS IS
 100% INCORRECT. THE SCOPE OF WORK IS CLEARLY ALTERATION
 LEVEL 3 AS STATED ON PREVIOUS SUBMITTAL. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. 505 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING, 5TH EDITION
 (2014). ALSO, THE SCOPE OF WORK WAS REVISED TO STATE
 THAT " NO MECHANICAL ON THIS PROJECT". THIS IS
 INCORRECT ALSO. MECHANICAL WORK IS REQUIRED BECAUSE
 NEED TO PROVIDE HEATING. AND, PROPOSED PLAN SHOWS A NEW
 AHU CLOSET AND CONDENSER UNIT OUTSIDE. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED.
  
 2- NEW COMMENT BASED ON THE NEW COMMENT ABOVE, PLANS
 NEED TO PROVIDE INFORMATION SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 HEATING REQUIREMENTS OF SEC. R303.9 FBC-RESIDENTIAL,
 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 3- ORIGINAL COMMENT: VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT
 APPLICATION IS TOO LOW BASED ON ALL THE SCOPE OF WORK.
 VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS, CONTRACTOR'S
 OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND ALL DESIGN PROFESSIONAL FEES AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY AMENDMENTS. CONTRACTOR TO
 REVISE THE VALUE.
 RESPONSE: REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED AT ALL. SINCE
 IT WAS NOT ADDRESSED AFTER THE 3RD REVIEW, THEN THE
 VALUE WAS ESTIMATED TO BE $60,000 +/-. THE PERMIT FEE
 BALANCE IS $1488.24.
  
 4- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 A) SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS THAT MEET THE DESIGN PRESSURES
 CALCULATED BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD ON SHEET S-2.
 DESIGN PRESSURES SHOWN ON NEW SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS NOA
 14-0908.09 SUBMITTED DON'T MEET THE ENGINEER'S
 CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES.
 NOTE; ENGINEER OF RECORD TO CLARIFY WHY HE APPROVED
 THIS SINGLE HUNG PRODUCT APPROVAL IF IT DOESN'T MEET
 THE DESIGN PRESSURES HE CALCULATED.
  
 5- ENGINEER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 (NOT SIGNING AND SEALING). ALL DOORS, WINDOWS, WINDOW
 MULLIONS PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. 107.3.4.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 RESPONSE: REPEAT COMMENT.
  
 6- ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS AND PALM BEACH COUNTY
 PROPERTY APPRAISER THE PROPOSED UTILITY ROOM WAS A
 PORCH. AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM
 BEACH COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD) FOR IMPACT FEES
 ASSESSMENT. BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF
 PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT FEE
 ORDINANCE OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
 RESPONSE: REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED.
