 ENERGY CALCULATIONS. SEC. R103.1 FBC-ENERGY
 CONSERVATION. REVISE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION: "SINGLE
 FAMILY" IS NOT A CONSTRUCTION TYPE. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
 PROVIDE THE ACTUAL ORIENTATION OF THE BUILDING. CLIMATE
 ZONE FOR PALM BEACH COUNTY IS 1 NOT 2. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. OWNER OR LEGALLY AGENT TO CERTIFY FORM
 SUBMITTED. PROVIDE THE DESIGNER INFORMATION. ACCORDING
 TO CITY RECORDS, THIS HOUSE DIDN'T HAVE A/C. PROVIDE
 THE FLOOR, WALLS AND CEILING R-VALUES. PROVIDE CORRECT
 FLOOR AREA. PROVIDE CEILING AREA. PROVIDE WALLS AREA.
 WINDOWS ON WALL #3 AND #4 DON'T MATCH PLANS. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. PERSON WHO PREPARED THE CALCULATIONS TO
 PROVIDE THE DOORS AND WINDOWS MANUFACTURER'S
 SPECIFICATIONS SHOWING THE U-FACTOR AND SHGC FACTOR
 USED ON THE CALCULATIONS. THIS HOUSE DOESN'T HAVE SLAB
 ON GRADE. SEE PLANS AND REVISE AS REQUIRED. PROVIDE
 COMPLETE INFORMATION FOR HEATING, COOLING, WATER
 HEATER, ETC.
 RESPONSE: THERE WAS NOT RESPONSE TO THIS ITEM BUT I
 FOUND THAT THIS HOUSE IS CONSIDERED A CONTRIBUTING
 HISTORIC BUILDING. THEREFORE, THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS
 ARE NOT REQUIRED. IF CONTRACTOR WANTS TO SUBMIT ENERGY
 CALCULATIONS, THEN THE ABOVE REVISIONS ARE REQUIRED.
  
 4- ORIGINAL COMMENT: ENGINEER OF RECORD TO SPECIFY HOW
 THE NEW "S" CLAY TILE IS GOING TO BE INSTALLED AS
 REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.2.1.2 CITY AMENDMENTS. IF
 SPECIFYING SCREWS, THEN SPECIFY SIZE AND NUMBER OF
 SCREWS. IF SPECIFYING ADHESIVE, THEN PROVIDE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL.
 RESPONSE: SCOPE OF WORK WAS REVISED. EXTERIOR
 ELEVATIONS NOS CALL FOR "EXISTING ROOFING NO WORK".
 ACCORDING TO ROOFING PERMIT #15040718 THE ROOFING
 MATERIAL OF THE FRONT PORCH IS SHINGLES NOT CONCRETE
 TILE. THIS IS A CONTRIBUTING HISTORIC HOUSE. COORDINATE
 WITH THE HISTORIC PLAN REVIEWER. NOTE: EXTERIOR
 ELEVATIONS ELEVATIONS NEED TO SHOW THE CORRECT ROOFING
 MATERIAL SHINGLES OR CONCRETE TILE SPECIALLY FOR A
 CONTRIBUTING HISTORIC BUILDING. PUBLIC RECORDS NEED TO
 SHOW CORRECT INFORMATION.
  
 5- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) AS REQUIRED BY
 FAC 61G20-3.002(33) FOR:
 A) ORIGINAL COMMENT: NEW "S" CLAY TILE AS SPECIFIED ON
 PLANS.
 RESPONSE: NO PRODUCT APPROVAL WAS SUBMITTED AT THIS
 TIME. THIS NEEDS TO BE COORDINATED WITH THE HISTORIC
 REVIEWER AND ITEM #4 ABOVE.
  
 B) ORIGINAL COMMENT: CLAY TILE ADHESIVE (IF SPECIFIED
 BY THE ENGINEER OF RECORD). SEE ROOF TILE PRODUCT
 APPROVAL FOR LISTED ADHESIVES.
 RESPONSE: COORDINATE WITH ITEM #5(A) ABOVE.
  
 C) ORIGINAL COMMENT: HURRICANE SHUTTERS. AND, PROVIDE
 COMPLETE INSTALLATION SCHEDULE. SEE CITY SAMPLE.

 D) ORIGINAL COMMENT: ALL SIMPSON STRUCTURAL CONNECTORS
 SPECIFIED ON ALL DETAILS. PROVIDE ONLY THE FLORIDA
 PRODUCT APPROVAL COVER PAGE AND PAGE SHOWING THE
 SPECIFIED CONNECTOR OR ENGINEER OF RECORD TO LIST THE
 FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL NUMBER NEXT TO EACH SPECIFIED
 CONNECTOR.

 CALCULATED DESIGN PRESSURES SHOWN ON SHEET S-2. SEC.

 RESPONSE: REPEAT COMMENT. NOW SUBMITTING NOA 14-0908.18
 FOR FIXED WINDOWS, BUT THERE ARE NO FIXED WINDOWS
 SPECIFIED ON PLANS.
  
 8- NEW WINDOW SCHEDULE SHOWN ON SHEET S-1: ENGINEER OF
 RECORD SPECIFIES WINDOWS WITH IMPACT GLASS. PRODUCT
 APPROVAL SUBMITTED IS FOR NON-IMPACT GLASS. REVISE AS
 REQUIRED TO MATCH. IT'S NOT CLEAR WHAT TYPE OF WINDOWS
 ARE GOING TO BE INSTALLED. COORDINATE WITH OWNER AND
 CONTRACTOR. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 9- SINCE WINDOW PRODUCT APPROVAL SUBMITTED IS FOR
 NON-IMPACT SINGLE HUNG WINDOWS, THEN NEED TO SPECIFY
 SAFETY GLASS FOR THE BATHROOM WINDOW AS REQUIRED BY
 SEC. R308.4.5 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 10- ORIGINAL COMMENT: ACCORDING TO CITY RECORDS AND
 PALM BEACH COUNTY PROPERTY APPRAISER THE PROPOSED
 UTILITY ROOM WAS A PORCH. AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED,
 BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD) FOR
 IMPACT FEES ASSESSMENT. BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS
 AND COPY OF PAID RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT
 FEE ORDINANCE OF THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE.
