 PLANS, WHICH INCLUDES THE WINDSPEED AND THE EXPOSURE
 CATEGORY.
  
 2) THE NEW MASTER BEDROOM WINDOWS DO NOT COMPLY WITH
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENING REQUIREMENTS.

 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE REQUIRED.
 BASEMENTS, HABITABLE ATTICS AND EVERY SLEEPING ROOM
 SHALL HAVE AT LEAST ONE OPERABLE EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND
 RESCUE OPENING. WHERE BASEMENTS CONTAIN ONE OR MORE
 SLEEPING ROOMS, EMERGENCY EGRESS AND RESCUE OPENINGS
 SHALL BE REQUIRED IN EACH SLEEPING ROOM. WHERE
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS ARE PROVIDED THEY
 SHALL HAVE A SILL HEIGHT OF NOT MORE THAN 44 INCHES
 (1118 MM) ABOVE THE FLOOR. WHERE A DOOR OPENING HAVING
 A THRESHOLD BELOW THE ADJACENT GROUND ELEVATION SERVES
 AS AN EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENING AND IS
 PROVIDED WITH A BULKHEAD ENCLOSURE, THE BULKHEAD
 ENCLOSURE SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION R310.3. THE NET
 CLEAR OPENING DIMENSIONS REQUIRED BY THIS SECTION SHALL
 BE OBTAINED BY THE NORMAL OPERATION OF THE EMERGENCY
 ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENING FROM THE INSIDE. EMERGENCY
 ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS WITH A FINISHED SILL HEIGHT
 BELOW THE ADJACENT GROUND ELEVATION SHALL BE PROVIDED
 WITH A WINDOW WELL IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION R310.2.
 EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS SHALL OPEN
 DIRECTLY INTO A PUBLIC WAY, OR TO A YARD OR COURT THAT
 OPENS TO A PUBLIC WAY.
  
 FBC-R310.1.1 MINIMUM OPENING AREA.
 ALL EMERGENCY ESCAPE AND RESCUE OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A
 MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING OF 5.7 SQUARE FEET (0.530
 M2).
 EXCEPTION: GRADE FLOOR OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM
 NET CLEAR OPENING OF 5 SQUARE FEET (0.465 M2).
  
 FBC-R310.1.2 MINIMUM OPENING HEIGHT.
 THE MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING HEIGHT SHALL BE 24 INCHES
 (610 MM).
  
 FBC-R310.1.3 MINIMUM OPENING WIDTH.
 THE MINIMUM NET CLEAR OPENING WIDTH SHALL BE 20 INCHES
 (508 MM).
  
 4) SHOW THE ATTACHMENT OF THE 2 X 8 HEADERS TO THE 4 X
 4 POSTS AT THE FRONT PORCH. FBC-R 301.1
  
 5) SPECIFY THE SLOPE OF THE FRONT PORCH ROOF ON THE
 PLANS. FBC 107.2.1
  
 6) THE WRONG EDITION (1995) OF ACI 318 IS LISTED ON
 SHEET S1.0 OF THE PLANS. THE 2014 FBC REFERENCES THE
 2011 EDITION OF ACI. FBC-R CHAPTER 46
  
 7) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC - R806.1 VENTILATION
 REQUIRED. ENCLOSED ATTICS AND ENCLOSED RAFTER SPACES
 FORMED WHERE CEILINGS ARE APPLIED DIRECTLY TO THE
 UNDERSIDE OF ROOF RAFTERS SHALL HAVE CROSS VENTILATION
 FOR EACH SEPARATE SPACE BY VENTILATING OPENINGS
 PROTECTED AGAINST THE ENTRANCE OF RAIN OR SNOW.
 VENTILATION OPENINGS SHALL HAVE A LEAST DIMENSION OF
 1/16 INCH (1.6 MM) MINIMUM AND 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM)
 MAXIMUM. VENTILATION OPENINGS HAVING A LEAST DIMENSION
 LARGER THAN 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM) SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH
 CORROSION-RESISTANT WIRE CLOTH SCREENING, HARDWARE
 CLOTH, OR SIMILAR MATERIAL WITH OPENINGS HAVING A LEAST
 DIMENSION OF 1/16 INCH (1.6 MM) MINIMUM AND 1/4 INCH
 (6.4 MM) MAXIMUM. OPENINGS IN ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS
 SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION R802.1.8.
 REQUIRED VENTILATION OPENINGS SHALL OPEN DIRECTLY TO
 THE OUTSIDE AIR.
  
 8) DETAIL NUMBER 7 ON SHEET A5.0 SHOWS THE EXTERIOR
 STUCCO EXTENDING BELOW GRADE. THIS IS NOT ALLOWED BY
 FBC- R703.6.2 PLASTER. ON WOOD-FRAME CONSTRUCTION WITH
 AN ON-GRADE FLOOR SLAB SYSTEM, EXTERIOR PLASTER SHALL
 BE APPLIED TO COVER, BUT NOT EXTEND BELOW, LATH, PAPER
 AND SCREED. R703.6.2.1 WEEP SCREEDS. A MINIMUM
 0.019-INCH (0.5 MM) (NO. 26 GALVANIZED SHEET GAGE),
 CORROSION-RESISTANT WEEP SCREED OR PLASTIC WEEP SCREED,
 WITH A MINIMUM VERTICAL ATTACHMENT FLANGE OF 31/2
 INCHES (89 MM) SHALL BE PROVIDED AT OR BELOW THE
 FOUNDATION PLATE LINE ON EXTERIOR STUD WALLS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM C 926. THE WEEP SCREED SHALL BE
 PLACED A MINIMUM OF 4 INCHES (102 MM) ABOVE THE EARTH
 OR 2 INCHES (51 MM) ABOVE PAVED AREAS AND SHALL BE OF A
 TYPE THAT WILL ALLOW TRAPPED WATER TO DRAIN TO THE
 EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING. THE WEATHER-RESISTANT BARRIER
 SHALL LAP THE ATTACHMENT FLANGE. THE EXTERIOR LATH
 SHALL COVER AND TERMINATE ON THE ATTACHMENT FLANGE OF
 THE WEEP SCREED.
  
 9) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH R703.6.3 WATER-RESISTIVE
 BARRIERS.
 WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIERS SHALL BE INSTALLED AS REQUIRED
 IN SECTION R703.2 AND, WHERE APPLIED OVER WOOD-BASED
 SHEATHING, SHALL INCLUDE A WATER-RESISTIVE
 VAPOR-PERMEABLE BARRIER WITH A PERFORMANCE AT LEAST
 EQUIVALENT TO TWO LAYERS OF GRADE D PAPER. THE
 INDIVIDUAL LAYERS SHALL BE INSTALLED INDEPENDENTLY SUCH
 THAT EACH LAYER PROVIDES A SEPARATE CONTINUOUS PLANE
 AND ANY FLASHING (INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION
 R703.8) INTENDED TO DRAIN TO THE WATER-RESISTIVE
 BARRIER IS DIRECTED BETWEEN THE LAYERS.
 EXCEPTION: WHERE THE WATER-RESISTIVE BARRIER THAT IS
 APPLIED OVER WOOD-BASED SHEATHING HAS A WATER
 RESISTANCE EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN THAT OF 60-MINUTE
 GRADE D PAPER AND IS SEPARATED FROM THE STUCCO BY AN
 INTERVENING, SUBSTANTIALLY NONWATER-ABSORBING LAYER OR
 DESIGNED DRAINAGE SPACE.
  
 10) FBC-R704 INSPECTION FOR TERMITES
 IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FOR INSPECTION FOR TERMITE
 INFESTATION, CLEARANCE BETWEEN EXTERIOR WALL COVERINGS
 AND FINAL EARTH GRADE ON THE EXTERIOR OF A BUILDING
 SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN 6 INCHES (152 MM).
 EXCEPTIONS:
 1. PAINT OR DECORATIVE CEMENTITIOUS FINISH LESS THAN
 5/8 INCH (17.1 MM) THICK ADHERED DIRECTLY TO THE
 MASONRY FOUNDATION SIDEWALL.
 2. ACCESS OR VEHICLE RAMPS WHICH RISE TO THE INTERIOR
 FINISH FLOOR ELEVATION FOR THE WIDTH OF SUCH RAMPS
 ONLY.
 3. A 4-INCH (102 MM) INSPECTION SPACE ABOVE PATIO AND
 GARAGE SLABS AND ENTRY AREAS.
 4. IF THE PATIO HAS BEEN SOIL TREATED FOR TERMITES, THE
 FINISH ELEVATION MAY MATCH THE BUILDING INTERIOR FINISH
 FLOOR ELEVATIONS ON MASONRY CONSTRUCTION ONLY.
 5. MASONRY VENEERS CONSTRUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 SECTION R318.4.
  
  
 11) PROVIDE SCUPPER AND OVER SCUPPER SIZING
 CALCULATIONS. FBC-R903.4 & R903.4.1
  
 12) SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH FBC - R903.4.1 OVERFLOW DRAINS
 AND SCUPPERS.
 WHEN OTHER MEANS OF DRAINAGE OF OVERFLOW WATER IS NOT
 PROVIDED, OVERFLOW SCUPPERS SHALL BE PLACED IN WALLS OR
 PARAPETS NOT LESS THAN 2 INCHES (51 MM) NOR MORE THAN 4
 INCHES (102 MM) ABOVE THE FINISHED ROOF COVERING AND
 SHALL BE LOCATED AS CLOSE AS PRACTICAL TO REQUIRED
 VERTICAL LEADERS OR DOWNSPOUTS OR WALL AND PARAPET
 SCUPPERS. AN OVERFLOW SCUPPER SHALL BE SIZED IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, PLUMBING.
 OVERFLOW DRAINS SHALL DISCHARGE TO AN APPROVED LOCATION
 AND SHALL NOT BE CONNECTED TO ROOF DRAIN LINES.
  
 13) THE PLANS SPECIFY OUTSWING EXTERIOR DOORS AND THE
 PRODUCT APPROVALS THAT WERE SUBMITTED ARE FOR INSWING
 DOORS. SUBMIT THE CORRECT PRODUCT APPROVALS. FBC
 107.3.4
  
 14) SUBMIT TWO SETS OF SIGNED AND SEALED RAS 117
 CALCULATIONS FOR ENHANCED FASTENING AT THE CORNER AND
 PERIMETER AREAS AS REQUIRED BY LIMITATION NUMBER 7 ON
 THE BUR PRODUCT APPROVAL (NOA NO. 16-0425.02). FBC
 107.2.1
  
 15) SPECIFY THE METHOD OF ATTACHMENT THAT WILL BE USED
 TO INSTALL THE CLAY ROOF TILE. IF A TILE ADHESIVE WILL
 BE USED, SUBMIT TWO COPIES OF THE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR
 IT. FBC 107.3.4
  
 16) PROVIDE AN ACCURATE VALUE FOR THE PROPOSED WORK.
 THE VALUE OF $10,000.00 SPECIFIED ON THE APPLICATION IS
 THE ARCHITECT'S FEES BASED ON THE DOCUMENTS THAT WERE
 SUBMITTED. FBC 109.3 BUILDING PERMIT VALUATION. FOR
 PERMITTING PURPOSES, VALUATION OF BUILDINGS AND SYSTEMS
 SHALL BE TOTAL REPLACEMENT VALUE TO INCLUDE STRUCTURAL,
 ELECTRIC, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, INTERIOR FINISH,
 RELATIVE SITE WORK, ARCHITECTURAL AND DESIGN FEES,
 MARKETING COSTS, OVERHEAD AND PROFIT; EXCLUDING ONLY
 LAND VALUE. VALUATION REFERENCES MAY INCLUDE THE LATEST
 PUBLISHED DATA OF NATIONAL CONSTRUCTION COST ANALYSIS
 SERVICES (MARSHALL-SWIFT, MEANS, ETC.), AS PUBLISHED BY
 INTERNATIONAL CODE CONGRESS. FINAL BUILDING PERMIT
 VALUATION SHALL BE SET BY THE BUILDING OFFICIAL.
  
 17) IN ORDER TO REDUCE PLAN REVIEW TIME, PLEASE SUBMIT
 A RESPONSE LETTER INDICATING HOW EACH OF THE REVIEW
