 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SCREENS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED OF
 THE MATERIALS SPECIFIED FOR THE EXTERIOR WALLS IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THE TYPE OF CONSTRUCTION OF THE
 BUILDING. WHERE THE FIRE SEPARATION DISTANCE IS GREATER
 THAN 5 FEET (1524 MM), MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT SCREENS
 SHALL NOT BE REQUIRED TO COMPLY WITH THE
 FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING REQUIREMENTS.
  
 7B) IF MECHANICAL SCREENS ARE REQUIRED THEN THE
 STRUCTURAL MEMBERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE ATTACHED TO
 THE ROOF FRAMING TO BE PART OF THE MWFRS (MAIN WIND
 FORCE RESISTING SYSTEM).
  
 8) ROOF TOP MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT WILL NEED TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH: 2014 FBC- ? M- 301.15 WIND RESISTANCE.
 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES AND SUPPORTS THAT ARE
 EXPOSED TO WIND SHALL BE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED TO
 RESIST THE WIND PRESSURES DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
  
 9) NOTE DEPENDING ON THE 2ND FLOOR EXITING IS TO BE
 DEFINED IF IT IS A EXIT ACCESS STAIR OR AS A VERTICAL
 EXIT AND EXIT PASSAGE WAY FBC-B 1022.5 PENETRATIONS
 ONLY ALLOWS IN EXITS EQUIPMENT, DUCTWORK NECESSARY FOR
 INDEPENDENT VENTILATION OR PRESSURIZATION.

 12) 107.3.4.1 THOSE PRODUCTS WHICH ARE REGULATED BY DCA

 TO SUBMITTAL FOR JURISDICTIONAL APPROVAL.
  
 13) EITHER THE CONTRACTOR OR THE DESIGNER OF RECORD MAY
 REQUEST THE PRODUCT APPROVALS FOR COMPONENTS AND
 CLADDING TO BE DEFERRED. 107.3.4.2 DEFERRED SUBMITTALS.
 FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, DEFERRED SUBMITTALS
 ARE DEFINED AS THOSE PORTIONS OF THE DESIGN THAT ARE

 APPLICATION AND THAT ARE TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE
 BUILDING OFFICIAL WITHIN A SPECIFIED PERIOD. DEFERRAL

 DOCUMENTS FOR DEFERRED SUBMITTAL ITEMS SHALL BE

 RESPONSIBLE CHARGE WHO SHALL REVIEW THEM AND FORWARD
 THEM TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL WITH A NOTATION
 INDICATING THAT THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL DOCUMENTS HAVE

 THE DESIGN OF THE BUILDING. THE DEFERRED SUBMITTAL

 14) CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY ASSEMBLY: IMPACT FEES BEFORE A
 PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT FEES MUST BE
 PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL PERMIT SET OF
 PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND A COPY OF THE

 15) THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH ART IN PUBLIC PLACES
