 STAFF HAS REVIEWED THE ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT
 REGULATIONS FOR THE ABOVE REFERENCED PERMIT AND
 PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. SATISFIED. PLEASE CORRECT THE LANDSCAPE PLAN TO SHOW
 THE EXISTING WASHINGTONIA PALM SOUTH OF THE SIDEWALK,
 AND INDICATE IF IT WILL REMAIN OR BE REMOVED AND
 REPLACED WITH A NEW TREE OR PALM.
  
 2. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. PLEASE INDICATE THE REQUIRED 5
 FOOT LANDSCAPE BUFFER AT THE NORTH PERIMETER OF THE
 PROPERTY, AND PROVIDE TREES AND HEDGES PER SECTION
 94-443(B) AND TABLE XIV-1. PLEASE CALCULATE THE LENGTH
 OF THE BUFFER AND PROVIDE A TREE FOR EACH 30 FEET OR
 PORTION THEREOF.
 THE CALOPHYLLUM TREES ARE ADDED WITH TAGS, BUT SYMBOL
 IS MISSING, AND NOT ADDED TO THE PLANT LIST COUNT.
 PLEASE REVISE TO CORRECT EAST AND SOUTH BUFFER ALSO,
 PROVIDE A HEDGE ALONG THE PARKINGLOT ADJACENT TO
 TAMARIND.
  
 3. SATISFIED. PLEASE ADD A HEDGE ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF
 THE LOADING AREA FOR SCREENING.
  
 4. PARTIALLY SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE THE REQUIRED
 HEDGE ALONG THE SIDES OF THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE.
 PLEASE CHANGE SPECIES FROM COONTIE TO A HEDGE PLANT
 REACHING AT LEAST 36 INCHES TALL, PREFERABLY ANOTHER
 NATIVE SPECIES.
  
 5. NOT SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE WATER NEEDS CATEGORY
 FOR EACH SPECIES ON THE PLANT LIST FROM THE SFWMD
 WATERWISE GUIDE TO SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLORIDA
 FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE SECTION 94-442 (G). PLEASE PROVIDE A
 CHART TO REFLECT APPLICABLE FLORIDA FRIENDLY POINTS (30
 POINTS REQUIRED)
 PROVIDE WATER NEEDS CATEGORY ON PLANT LIST FOR EACH
 SPECIES.

 BARRIERS TO PROTECT INFRASTRUCTURE AND TREES FROM
 CONFLICTS. THIS INCLUDES WATER, SEWER, DRAINAGE,
 SIDEWALKS AND CURBS, AND ANY FIELD STRUCTURES THAT
 COULD BE IMPACTED BY TREE ROOTS.
 UTILITY LOCATIONS NEED TO BE SHOWN, ESPECIALLY WATER
 AND SEWER TO AVOID CONFLICTS WITH REQUIRED TREES.
  
 7. SATISFIED. PLEASE PROVIDE CURBS FOR ALL LANDSCAPE
 AREAS ALONG THE EDGE OF THE PAVED AREAS ON THE NORTH
 SIDE AND LANDSCAPE ISLAND NORTH OF DRIVEWAY AT THE
 SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE BUILDING.
  
 8. NOT SATISFIED. PLEASE SHOW THE CALCULATIONS FOR
 REQUIRED TREES, FLOWERING TREES AND SHRUBS BASED ON THE
 40 % OPEN SPACE REQUIRED.
 CALCULATIONS ARE BASED ON 40 PERCENT OF THE ENTIRE
 PARCEL.
  
 9. SATISFIED. PLEASE SUBMIT A SEPARATE PERMIT FOR
 IRRIGATION.

 10. PLEASE CONSIDER ALTERNATE SPECIES THAT ARE NATIVE
 FOR THE JATROPHA, NERIUM, AND CALOPHYLLUM.
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES OR
 PALMS ON THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL
 BE SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
  
 2. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PERMITTING AND INSTALLATION OF THE
 STREET TREES AND RIGHT OF WAY LANDSCAPING AND
 IRRIGATION APPROVED WITH THIS PETITION.
  
 3. THE APPLICANT, SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS SHALL BE
 RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF THE ROAD RIGHT OF
 WAY LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION. THIS WILL BE THROUGH A
 SEPARATE MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY.
  
 PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MAY BE
 REQUESTED, AND STAFF MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AS
 THE REVIEW PROCESS CONTINUES.
