 STAFF HAS REVIEWED THE ZONING AND LAND DEVELOPMENT
 REGULATIONS FOR THE ABOVE REFERENCED PERMIT AND
 PROVIDES THE FOLLOWING COMMENTS:
  
 1. PLEASE CORRECT THE LANDSCAPE PLAN TO SHOW THE
 EXISTING WASHINGTONIA PALM SOUTH OF THE SIDEWALK, AND
 INDICATE IF IT WILL REMAIN OR BE REMOVED AND REPLACED
 WITH A NEW TREE OR PALM.
  
 2. PLEASE INDICATE THE REQUIRED 5 FOOT LANDSCAPE BUFFER
 AT THE NORTH PERIMETER OF THE PROPERTY, AND PROVIDE
 TREES AND HEDGES PER SECTION 94-443(B) AND TABLE XIV-1.
 PLEASE CALCULATE THE LENGTH OF THE BUFFER AND PROVIDE A
 TREE FOR EACH 30 FEET OR PORTION THEREOF.
  
 3. PLEASE ADD A HEDGE ALONG THE EAST SIDE OF THE
 LOADING AREA FOR SCREENING.
  
 4. PLEASE PROVIDE THE REQUIRED HEDGE ALONG THE SIDES OF
 THE DUMPSTER ENCLOSURE.
  
 5. PLEASE PROVIDE WATER NEEDS CATEGORY FOR EACH SPECIES
 ON THE PLANT LIST FROM THE SFWMD WATERWISE GUIDE TO
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE FLORIDA FRIENDLY LANDSCAPE
 SECTION 94-442 (G). PLEASE PROVIDE A CHART TO REFLECT
 APPLICABLE FLORIDA FRIENDLY POINTS (30 POINTS REQUIRED)
  
 6. PLEASE SHOW LOCATIONS OF ROOT BARRIERS TO PROTECT
 INFRASTRUCTURE AND TREES FROM CONFLICTS. THIS INCLUDES
 WATER, SEWER, DRAINAGE, SIDEWALKS AND CURBS, AND ANY
 FIELD STRUCTURES THAT COULD BE IMPACTED BY TREE ROOTS.
  
 7. PLEASE PROVIDE CURBS FOR ALL LANDSCAPE AREAS ALONG
 THE EDGE OF THE PAVED AREAS ON THE NORTH SIDE AND
 LANDSCAPE ISLAND NORTH OF DRIVEWAY AT THE SOUTHEAST
 CORNER OF THE BUILDING.
  
 8. PLEASE SHOW THE CALCULATIONS FOR REQUIRED TREES,
 FLOWERING TREES AND SHRUBS BASED ON THE 40 % OPEN SPACE
 REQUIRED.
 9. PLEASE SUBMIT A SEPARATE PERMIT FOR IRRIGATION.
 CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
 1. PRIOR TO THE REMOVAL OR RELOCATION OF ANY TREES OR
 PALMS ON THE PROPERTY, A TREE ALTERATION PERMIT SHALL
 BE SUBMITTED, REVIEWED AND APPROVED BY THE DEVELOPMENT
 SERVICES DEPARTMENT, PLANNING DIVISION.
  
 PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT ADDITIONAL INFORMATION MAY BE
 REQUESTED, AND STAFF MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL COMMENTS AS
 THE REVIEW PROCESS CONTINUES.
