 GENERAL: PER NFPA 241 SECTION 8.7.2.3, WHERE
 UNDERGROUND WATER MAINS AND HYDRANTS ARE TO BE
 PROVIDED, THEY SHALL BE INSTALLED, COMPLETED, AND IN
 SERVICE PRIOR TO VERTICAL CONSTRUCTION WORK OR
 ACCUMULATION OF COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS. PER SECTION
 18.3.4.1 (NFPA 1), FIRE HYDRANTS SHALL BE PROVIDED WITH
 CLEARANCES OF 7'-6" TO THE FRONT AND SIDES AND 4'-0" TO
 THE BACKSIDE OF THE STEAMER CAP.
  
 GENERAL: A SUB PERMIT (UG FIRELINE) IS NEEDED TO
 INSTALL FIRE MAINS AND FIRE HYDRANTS.
  
 GENERAL: PER NFPA 241 SECTION 4.2.2: DETACHMENT BETWEEN
 TEMPORARY STRUCTURES, ADEQUATE TEMPORARY FIXED FIRE
 PROTECTION SYSTEMS, AND PORTABLE EQUIPMENT SHALL BE
 PROVIDED AS REQUIRED BY THE AUTHORITY HAVING
 JURISDICTION.TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION TRAILERS OR MODULAR
 BUILDINGS WILL REQUIRE A PERMIT AND COMPLIANCE WITH THE
 FOLLOWING:
 PER NFPA 241- STANDARD FOR SAFEGUARDING CONSTRUCTION,
 ALTERATION, AND DEMOLITION OPERATIONS, SECTION 4.2:
 TEMPORARY OFFICES, TRAILERS, AND OTHER FACILITIES OF
 COMBUSTIBLE CONSTRUCTION OR HOUSING COMBUSTIBLE
 CONTENTS SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM ADJACENT BUILDINGS,
 TRAILERS OR STRUCTURES IN ACCORDANCE WITH TABLE 4.2.1.
 PER TABLE 4.2.1:
 1) 20 FEET EXPOSED LENGTH SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM
 ADJACENT STRUCTURES BY AT LEAST 30 FEET
 2) 30 FEET EXPOSED LENGTH SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM
 ADJACENT STRUCTURES BY AT LEAST 35 FEET
 3) 40 FEET EXPOSED LENGTH SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM
 ADJACENT STRUCTURES BY AT LEAST 40 FEET
 4) 50 FEET EXPOSED LENGTH SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM
 ADJACENT STRUCTURES BY AT LEAST 45 FEET
 5) 60 FEET EXPOSED LENGTH SHALL BE SEPARATED FROM
 ADJACENT STRUCTURES BY AT LEAST 50 FEET
 6) GREATER THAN 60 FEET EXPOSED LENGTH SHALL BE
 SEPARATED FROM ADJACENT STRUCTURES BY AT LEAST 60 FEET
 **A 75 PERCENT REDUCTION IN SEPARATION DISTANCES SHALL
 BE PERMITTED TO BE APPLIED, PROVIDED AUTOMATIC
 SPRINKLER PROTECTION IS USED IN THE EXPOSING STRUCTURE.
  
 GENERAL: PROVIDE DRAWING NOTE INDICATING ALL
 CONSTRUCTION WORK SHALL CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF
 NFPA 241. TRASH AND CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS SHALL BE
 REMOVED FROM THE SITE DAILY. SMOKING SHALL BE
 PROHIBITED EXCEPT IN DESIGNATED EXTERIOR AREAS. ALL
 OTHER DEMOLITION OR CONSTRUCTION AREAS SHALL HAVE "NO
 SMOKING" SIGNS POSTED. WHERE SMOKING IS PERMITTED, SAFE
 RECEPTACLES FOR SMOKING MATERIALS SHALL BE PROVIDED.
  
 GENERAL: PROVIDE AN EXTERIOR KEY SAFE TO ALLOW
 EMERGENCY RESPONDERS NON-FORCIBLE ENTRY INTO THE
 BUILDING DURING NON-BUSINESS HOURS. A KEY SAFE CAN BE
 ORDERED FROM WWW.KNOXBOX.COM.
  
 GENERAL: STRUCTURES WITH LIGHT FRAME FLOOR/ROOF TRUSS
 CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE IDENTIFIED WITH A SIGN AFFIXED TO
 THE BUILDING. THE SIGN SHALL FEATURE A MALTESE CROSS
 8-INCHES WIDE AND 8-INCHES TALL AND BE OF A BRIGHT RED
 REFLECTIVE COLOR AND BEAR THE APPROPRIATE LETTER R/F/RF
 DESIGNATION PER FLORIDA STATUTE 633.027 AND FLORIDA
 ADMINISTRATIVE CODE 69A-60.0081.
  
 CIVIL: SUBMIT OFFICIAL CIVIL DRAWINGS SHOWING ALL FIRE
 DEPARTMENT ACCESS ROADS, FIRE MAINS, AND FIRE HYDRANTS.
 CIVIL PLANS INDICATE FOR REFERENCE ONLY. MOST OF THE
 SAME CIVIL PLANS ARE SUBMITTED MULTIPLE TIMES; AND
 DRAWING SET IS NOT A COMPLETE CIVIL SET.
  
 SITE: PER SECTION 18.2.3.4.1.1 (NFPA 1), FIRE
 DEPARTMENT ACCESS ROADS SHALL HAVE A SURFACE DESIGNED
 TO ACCOMMODATE FIRE APPARATUS WEIGHING AT LEAST 38
 TONS. ACCESS ROADS SHALL HAVE AN UNOBSTRUCTED WIDTH OF
 NOT LESS THAN 20 FEET AND AN UNOBSTRUCTED VERTICAL
 CLEARANCE OF NOT LESS THAN 13 FEET 6 INCHES.
  
 SITE: PER SECTION 18.2.3.5.3 (NFPA 1), FIRE LANES SHALL
 BE MARKED WITH FREESTANDING SIGNS READING, "FIRE LANE -
 NO PARKING BY ORDER OF THE FIRE DEPARTMENT." SIGNS
 SHALL BE 12" X 18" WITH A WHITE BACKGROUND AND RED
 LETTERS AND SHALL BE A MAXIMUM OF SEVEN FEET IN HEIGHT
 TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SIGN. SIGNS SHALL BE WITHIN SIGHT
 OF THE TRAFFIC FLOW AND BE SPACED A MAXIMUM OF 60 FEET
 APART.
  
 CIVIL: PER NFPA 1 SECTION18.2.3.2.1 A FIRE DEPARTMENT
 ACCESS ROAD SHALL EXTEND TO WITHIN 50 FEET OF AT LEAST
 ONE EXTERIOR DOOR THAT CAN BE OPENED FROM THE OUTSIDE
 AND THAT PROVIDES ACCESS TO THE INTERIOR OF THE
 BUILDING. THE CURRENT DRIVE AISLE NEAR THE CLUBHOUSE IS
 NOT AN APPROVED FIRE LANE BECAUSE IT DOES NOT HAVE A
 MINIMUM CLEAR WIDTH OF 20 FEET AND CANNOT RELIABLY
 REMAIN UNOBSTRUCTED FROM GOLF CARTS, VEHICLES, ETC AT
 ALL TIMES AS IS SHOWN IN SHEET A204.ADDITIONALLY THE
 PORTE COCHIERE MAY IMPEDE FIRE RESCUE OPERATIONS.
  
 CIVIL: COULD NOT LOCATE A FIRE HYDRANT NEAR THE
 CLUBHOUSE.
  
 SHEET A003: BASEMENT STAIR AND KITCHEN OCCUPANTS
 INDICATE AN EXIT DISCHARGE THROUGH THE DELIVERY AND
 DUMPSTER AREA.
  
 SHEET A003: EGRESS DOOR NEAR THE ADA RAMP IS OBSTRUCTED
 BY TABLE AND CHAIRS.
  
 GENERAL: PROVIDE A KITCHEN EQUIPMENT SCHEDULE.
  
 GENERAL: PROVIDE TACTILE SIGNAGE AT ALL REQUIRED EXIT
 DOORS WITH EXIT SIGNS.
  
 GENERAL: FOR ASSEMBLY OCCUPANCIES WITH AN OCCUPANT LOAD
 OF 100 OR MORE PERSONS (50 PERSONS PER THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE), PANIC HARDWARE SHALL BE PROVIDED ON
 DOORS TO RELEASE THE LOCK/LATCH. NO OTHER LOCKS OR
 LATCHES ARE PERMITTED THAT WOULD NOT BE RELEASED BY THE
 PANIC HARDWARE. AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR PANIC HARDWARE, THE
 MAIN ENTRANCE (ONLY) IS PERMITTED TO HAVE AN INTERIOR
 KEYED DOOR LOCK (AND NO LATCH) WITH A READILY VISIBLE
 SIGN STATING THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN THE
 BUILDING IS OCCUPIED. SIGN LETTERS SHALL BE AT LEAST 1
 INCH IN HEIGHT. KEYED LOCK TO BE EQUIPPED WITH AN
 "OPEN/LOCKED" INDICATOR WINDOW (SUCH AS ADAMS RITE 4089
 OR SIMILAR). A THUMB TURN STYLE LOCK IS NOT PERMITTED
 TO BE SUBSTITUTED FOR A KEYED LOCK.SHEET
 A THOROUGH AND COMPLETE PLAN REVIEW CANNOT BE COMPLETED
 AT THIS TIME DUE TO LACK OF INFORMATION SUBMITTED ON
 THE PLANS. ADDITIONAL PLAN REVIEW COMMENTS MAY BE
 GENERATED DURING PLAN RESUBMISSION.
  
 SHEET FP-1.1: THE ENTIRE BASEMENT IS STORAGE; PROTECT
 ENTIRE SPACE AS ORDINARY HAZARD.

 VISIBLE SIGNALS AND VOICE ANNOUNCEMENTS. PROVIDE A
 PRE-RECORDED FIRE ALARM EVACUATION MESSAGE NOTIFYING
 OCCUPANTS AN EMERGENCY HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE
 BUILDING, LOCATE THE NEAREST EXIT, AND EXIT THE
 BUILDING IMMEDIATELY. DO NOT USE THE ELEVATOR.
  
 SHEET E-2.2: NO NOTIFICATION APPLIANCES PROVIDED IN ALL
 RESTROOMS, CHANGING ROOMS OR SHOWER SPACES.
  
 SHEET M-1.2 & M-1.3: KITCHEN EXHAUST FANS ARE
 TERMINATING AT AN OUTSIDE WALL IN LIEU OF ROOFTOP
 TERMINATION. THE FANS ARE LOCATED WITHIN 10 FEET OF THE
 COMBUSTIBLE ROOF WHICH IS NOT PERMITTED BY NFPA 96
 SECTION 7.8.3.
  
 NOTE: REVIEW AND APPROVAL BY THE AHJ SHALL NOT RELIEVE
 THE OWNER, CONTRACTOR, ETC. OF THE RESPONSIBILITY OF
 COMPLIANCE WITH CODE (NFPA 1, SECTION 1.14.4).FBC
 SECTION 105.4.1 PERMIT INTENT: A PERMIT ISSUED SHALL BE
 CONSTRUED TO BE A LICENSE TO PROCEED WITH THE WORK AND
 NOT AS AUTHORITY TO VIOLATE, CANCEL, ALTER OR SET ASIDE
 ANY OF THE PROVISIONS OF THE TECHNICAL CODES, NOR SHALL
 ISSUANCE OF A PERMIT PREVENT THE BUILDING OFFICIAL FROM
 THEREAFTER REQUIRING A CORRECTION OF ERRORS IN PLANS,
 CONSTRUCTION OR VIOLATIONS OF THIS CODE.
