 PREVIOUS COMMENYS:
  
 1) PLEASE PROVIDE THE OCCUPANCY CLASSFICATION PER THE
 FLORIDA FIRE PREVENTION CODE.
  
 ONE UNIT, # 5, HAS 6 BEDROOMS, A GAME ROOM, COMMON
 WASHER/DRYER ROOM AND APPEARS TO HAVE A POSSIBLE USE
 BEYOND A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE.
  
 ADDITIONAL COMMENT: WILL THIS BUILDING BE USED AS A
 RECOVERY TYPE RESIDENCE ? IF SO, HOW MANY RESIDENTS ARE
 PROPOSED ? IT IS IMPERATIVE FOR THE LIFE SAFETY REVIEW
 TO HAVE DEFINITIVE OCCUPANCY CLASSIFICATION.
  
  
  
  
 2) AS SUBMITTED THE CONSTRUCTION SHALL COMPLY WITH THE

 3) A FIRE SPRINKLER SYSTEM IS NOT INDICATED. PER NFPA
 101, CHAPTER 30:
  
 30.3.5 EXTINGUISHMENT REQUIREMENTS.
 30.3.5.1 ALL BUILDINGS SHALL BE PROTECTED THROUGHOUT BY
 AN APPROVED, SUPERVISED AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM
 INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH 30.3.5.2.
 30.3.5.2 WHERE AN AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM IS
 INSTALLED, EITHER FOR TOTAL OR PARTIAL BUILDING
 COVERAGE, THE SYSTEM SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTION 9.7, AS MODIFIED BY 30.3.5.3 AND
 30.3.5.4. IN BUILDINGS FOUR OR FEWER STORIES ABOVE
 GRADE PLANE, SYSTEMS IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 13R,
 STANDARD FOR THE INSTALLATION OF SPRINKLER SYSTEMS IN
 LOW-RISE RESIDENTIAL OCCUPANCIES, SHALL BE PERMITTED.
  
 PLEASE PROVIDE FIRE SPRINKLER DRAWINGS OR A NARRATIVE
 IN COMPLIANCE WITH FS 61G - PER FLORIDA ADMINISTRATIVE
 CODE SECTION 61G15-32.004, FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEERING
 DOCUMENTS SHALL INCLUDE THE POINT OF SERVICE FOR THE
 WATER SUPPLY, A LIST OF APPLICABLE NFPA STANDARDS
 APPLICABLE TO THE PROJECT, CLASSIFICATION OF HAZARD
 OCCUPANCY FOR EACH ROOM OR AREA, SUPPRESSION SYSTEM
 TYPE, DESIGN DENSITIES, WATER SUPPLY DATA (FIRE PUMP
 DATA, HYDRANT FLOW TEST DATA) AND ANY PERFORMANCE BASED
 INFORMATION SUCH AS PRE-ENGINEERED SYSTEMS.
  
 ADDITIONAL COMMENT: BASED ON THE OCCUPANCY
 CLASSIFICATION AND OCCUPANCY USE A FIRE SPRINKLER
 SYSTEM MAY STILL BE REQUIRED. PLEASE PROVIDE SPECIFIC

 MULTIUNIT RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE OF THREE UNITS OR MORE
 WHICH USES HORIZONTAL OR VERTICAL LIGHT-FRAME
 TRUSS-TYPE CONSTRUCTION IN ANY PORTION SHALL BE MARKED
 WITH A MALTESE CROSS SIGN MEASURING 8 INCHES
 HORIZONTALLY AND 8 INCHES VERTICALLY, OF A BRIGHT RED
 REFLECTIVE COLOR. THE APPROVED SYMBOL SHALL BE PLACED
 WITHIN 24 INCHES TO THE LEFT OF THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR.

 MARKED WITH THE LETTER "R".

 DESIGN OF THE LAUNDRY ROOM, NO WINDOWS,
 8.7 SPECIAL HAZARD PROTECTION.
 8.7.1 GENERAL.
 8.7.1.1* PROTECTION FROM ANY AREA HAVING A DEGREE OF
 HAZARD GREATER THAN THAT NORMAL TO THE GENERAL
 OCCUPANCY OF THE BUILDING OR STRUCTURE SHALL BE

 8.3 FIRE BARRIERS.
 8.3.1 GENERAL.
 8.3.1.1 FIRE BARRIERS USED TO PROVIDE ENCLOSURE,
 SUBDIVISION, OR PROTECTION UNDER THIS CODE SHALL BE
 CLASSIFIED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ONE OF THE FOLLOWING FIRE
 RESISTANCE RATINGS:
 (1) 3-HOUR FIRE RESISTANCE RATING
 (2) 2-HOUR FIRE RESISTANCE RATING
 (3) 1-HOUR FIRE RESISTANCE RATING
 (4)* ?-HOUR FIRE RESISTANCE RATING
 8.3.1.2* FIRE BARRIERS SHALL COMPLY WITH ONE OF THE
 FOLLOWING:
 (1) THE FIRE BARRIERS ARE CONTINUOUS FROM OUTSIDE WALL
 TO OUTSIDE WALL OR FROM ONE FIRE BARRIER TO ANOTHER, OR
 A COMBINATION THEREOF, INCLUDING CONTINUITY THROUGH ALL
 CONCEALED SPACES, SUCH AS THOSE FOUND ABOVE A CEILING,
 INCLUDING INTERSTITIAL SPACES.
 (2) THE FIRE BARRIERS ARE CONTINUOUS FROM OUTSIDE WALL
 TO OUTSIDE WALL OR FROM ONE FIRE BARRIER TO ANOTHER,
 AND FROM THE FLOOR TO THE BOTTOM OF THE INTERSTITIAL
 SPACE, PROVIDED THAT THE CONSTRUCTION ASSEMBLY FORMING
 THE BOTTOM OF THE INTERSTITIAL SPACE HAS A FIRE
 RESISTANCE RATING NOT LESS THAN THAT OF THE FIRE
 BARRIER.
  
 THE DOORS, O & P, TO THE LAUNDRY ARE NOTED TO HOLLOW
 CORE, THERE ARE WINDOWS, AN EXIT STAIRWAY AND A WOOD
 WALL ABOVE THE LAUNDRY. ON THE OTHER SIDE THERE IS A
 WINDOW WITHIN 10 FT OF THE LAUNDRY THAT IS UNPROTECTED.
  
 PLEASE REVIEW, CLARIFY AND/OR CORRECT.
