 THE AGE OF THE STUDENTS THIS OCCUPANCY COULD BE ANY OF

 PLEASE PROVIDE THE AGE GROUP OF THE STUDENTS, IF THE
 BUILDING IS TO BE USED BY MULTIPLE AGE GROUPS, THEN IT
 WOULD BE CONSIDERED A MIXED USE OCCUPANCY. ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 2) SHEET SP-1 SEPARATE PERMITS ARE REQUIRED FOR PAVING
 AND STRIPPING, LANDSCAPE, IRRIGATION, AWNINGS AND SIGNS
 ARE UNDER SEPARATE PERMIT, REVIEWS AND FEES. 105.1

 AISLE.
 ACCESS. CODE 502.3.3 MARKING. ACCESS AISLES SHALL BE
 MARKED SO AS TO DISCOURAGE PARKING IN THEM.
 THE ACCESS AISLE MUST BE STRIPED DIAGONALLY TO
 DESIGNATE IT AS A NO-PARKING ZONE.
 ADVISORY 502.3.3 MARKING. THE METHOD AND COLOR OF
 MARKING ARE NOT SPECIFIED BY THESE REQUIREMENTS BUT MAY
 BE ADDRESSED BY STATE OR LOCAL LAWS OR REGULATIONS.
 BECAUSE THESE REQUIREMENTS PERMIT THE VAN ACCESS AISLE
 TO BE AS WIDE AS A PARKING SPACE, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT
 THE AISLE BE CLEARLY MARKED.
  
 5) SHEET S-1 WILL NEED TO SHOW THE ELEVATION OF THE 2
 CORNER OF THE ACCESSIBLE PARKING SPACE AND THE OPPOSITE
 CORNERS OF THE ACCESS AISLE FOR COMPLIANCE WITH:
 ACCESS. CODE 502.4 FLOOR OR GROUND SURFACES. PARKING
 SPACES AND ACCESS AISLES SERVING THEM SHALL COMPLY WITH
 302. ACCESS AISLES SHALL BE AT THE SAME LEVEL AS THE
 PARKING SPACES THEY SERVE. CHANGES IN LEVEL ARE NOT
 PERMITTED. EXCEPTION: SLOPES NOT STEEPER THAN 1:48

 6) SHEET S-1 THE BOTTOM PORTION OF THE RAMP. THE BOTTOM
 LANDING HAS A ELEVATION MARK OF 15.10 FT., THE
 MID-LANDING A ELEVATION MARK OF 15.53 FT. MIDWAY UP THE
 RAMP THERE IS AN ELEVATION MARKED 15.03? IS THIS A
 TYPO? 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
 7) SHEET S-2 SHOWS THE NEW ACCESSIBLE RAMP A SECTION
 4/S-3. THIS IS SECTION THROUGH THE RAMP IN A NORTH
 SOUTH DIRECTION. WHEN VIEWING THIS DETAIL THERE SHOWS A
 HANDRAIL SYSTEM, ALSO SEE SHEET A2 DETAIL 6. THERE IS A
 NOTE THAT THE ADA APPROVED HANDRAIL IS TO BE APPROVED
 BY THE OWNER.
 PLEASE SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS
 FOR HANDRAILS FOR RAMPS:

 8) SHEET A1 INDICATES A NEW DOOR OPENING AND THE
 EXISTING WINDOWS BEING REPLACED, SHEET S3 PROVIDES
 STRUCTURAL DETAILS FOR THE NEW DOOR OPENING AND A
 INFILL OF A DOOR TO NEW WINDOW OPENING. THE PLANS DO
 NOT PROVIDE THE WIND DESIGN CRITERIA;

 CLOSETS IN THE ONE RESTROOM. THE SMALLER CHILDS WATER
 CLOSET DOES NOT MEET THE SIDE CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS OF
 ACCESS. CODE 604.3.1 BOTH THE OTHER WATER CLOSET AND
 DIAPER CHANGING TABLE ARE IN THE WAY.
  
 12) PLEASE NOTE CHILDRENS WATER CLOSETS ARE AGE
 SPECIFIC TO THE AGE OF THE CHILDREN SEE 604.9 AND
 ADVISORY 604.9. FOR CENTERLINES, TOILET SEAT HEIGHT,
 GRAB BAR HEIGHT AND DISPENSER HEIGHTS.
  
 13) ACCESSIBILITY DETAIL SHEET A000:
 13A) THE WATER CLOSET GRAB RAILS ARE SHOWN AS BEING
 MEASURED FROM THE CENTERLINE OF THE GRAB BAR. PLEASE

 THE GRAB BAR FROM THE TOP OF THE GRASPING SURFACE NOT

 MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES AND SUPPORTS THAT ARE
 EXPOSED TO WIND SHALL BE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED TO
 RESIST THE WIND PRESSURES DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH
 THE FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.
 2014 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND

 15) THIS PLAN MAY END UP A CHANGE IN OCCUPANCY IF SO
 THEN IMPACT FEE ASSESSMENT SHALL OCCUR. BEFORE A PERMIT
 TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE ISSUED, IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID
 TO PALM BEACH COUNTY. THE ACTUAL PERMIT SET OF PLANS
 MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT OFFICE, AND A COPY OF THE PAID
