 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) COMPLIED. THE COVERSHEET INDICATES THIS 2 STORY
 BUILDING IS A BUILDING TYPE IIA-SPRINKLERED. PLEASE
 NOTE THIS 2 STORY BUILDING WAS BUILT IN 1925 THE 1ST
 FLOOR CONSISTING OF EITHER BUSINESS AND OR MERCANTILE.
 THIS BUILDING TYPE IS NOT A TYPE IIA BUILDING, MORE
 LIKELY A TYPE VB. A TYPE IIA MEANS THERE IS NO WOOD IN
 THE STRUCTURE AND ALL OF THE STRUCTURAL MEMBERS ARE 1
 HOUR FIRE PROTECTED PER TABLE 601.
  
 2)2ND REQUEST. PLEASE PROVIDE HOW MANY SQUARE FEET MAKE
 UP THE RETAIL PORTION OF THIS TENANT SPACE TO SEE IF IT
 IS A MIXED USE OCCUPANCY. THE COVERSHEET ALSO LIST THE
 OCCUPANCY TYPE AS BUSINESS/ RETAIL, THE TENANCY SQUARE
 FOOTAGE OF 827 AND AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 13. PLEASE
 PROVIDE THE SQUARE FOOTAGE FOR THE BEAUTY SALOON
 PORTION THAT WILL BE BUSINESS OCCUPANCY AND THE POTION
 THAT WILL BE MERCANTILE OCCUPANCY. THIS TENANCY MAY BE
 CLASSIFIED AS A MIXED USE OCCUPANCY.
 2014 FBC-B 508.2.1 AREA LIMITATIONS. AGGREGATE
 ACCESSORY OCCUPANCIES SHALL NOT OCCUPY MORE THAN 10
 PERCENT OF THE BUILDING AREA OF THE STORY (TENANT
 SPACE) IN WHICH THEY ARE LOCATED AND SHALL NOT EXCEED
 THE TABULAR VALUES IN TABLE 503, WITHOUT BUILDING AREA
 INCREASES IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 506 FOR SUCH

 OF THE CLOSET NEEDS TO BE FIRE RATED AS WELL.
 THE WALLS, SOFFIT AND OR CEILING WITHIN ENCLOSED USABLE
 SPACES UNDER ENCLOSED AND UNENCLOSED STAIRWAYS SHALL BE
 PROTECTED BY 1-HOUR FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED CONSTRUCTION
 OR THE FIRE-RESISTANCE RATING OF THE STAIRWAY
 ENCLOSURE, WHICHEVER IS GREATER. ACCESS TO THE ENCLOSED
 SPACE SHALL NOT BE DIRECTLY FROM WITHIN THE STAIR
 ENCLOSURE.
  
 6) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
