 1) THE DEMO SHEET 022_D1.0 SHOWS THE REMOVAL OF THE
 ELEVATOR LOBBY DOORS AND THE LIFE SAFETY PLANLS1.0 THEY
 ARE NOT RE-INSTALLED. THIS IS A HIGH RISE BUILDING,
 PLEASE SHOW HOW COMPLIANCE WITH
 FBC-B 713.14.1 ELEVATOR LOBBY IS COMPLIED WITH AND OR
 ONE OF THE 7 EXCEPTIONS.
  
 2) THIS PROJECT HAS A PERMIT VALUE OF $118,875.00
 DOLLARS IN VALUE. THE CONTRACTOR WILL NEED TO SUPPLY AN
 ITEMIZED LIST FOR ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES WHERE UP TO 20%
 OF THE VALUE OF THE PROJECT, $23,775.00 DOLLARS. PLEASE
 REVIEW SECTION 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE COST OF THE
 2014 FBC-ACCESSIBILITY CODE OF THE ORDER HOW THE FUNDS
 ARE TO BE SPENT.
 202.4.1 DISPROPORTIONATE COST. ALTERATIONS MADE TO
 PROVIDE AN ACCESSIBLE PATH OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED
 AREA WILL BE DEEMED DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE OVERALL
 ALTERATION WHEN THE COST EXCEEDS 20% OF THE COST OF THE
 ALTERATION TO THE PRIMARY FUNCTION AREA. COSTS THAT MAY
 BE COUNTED AS EXPENDITURES REQUIRED TO PROVIDE AN
 ACCESSIBLE PATH OF TRAVEL MAY INCLUDE: (I) COSTS
 ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING AN ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE AND AN
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE ALTERED AREA; (II) COSTS
 ASSOCIATED WITH MAKING RESTROOMS ACCESSIBLE, SUCH AS
 INSTALLING GRAB BARS, ENLARGING TOILET STALLS,
 INSULATING PIPES, OR INSTALLING ACCESSIBLE FAUCET
 CONTROLS; (III) COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING
 ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES, SUCH AS RELOCATING THE TELEPHONE
 TO AN ACCESSIBLE HEIGHT, INSTALLING AMPLIFICATION
 DEVICES, OR INSTALLING A TEXT TELEPHONE (TTY); (IV)
 COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RELOCATING AN INACCESSIBLE
 DRINKING FOUNTAIN.
  
 3) IN BOTH THE WOMENS AND MENS RESTROOMS PLEASE PROVIDE
 COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-ACCESS. CODE 603.3 MIRRORS.
 MIRRORS LOCATED ABOVE LAVATORIES OR COUNTERTOPS SHALL
 BE INSTALLED WITH THE BOTTOM EDGE OF THE REFLECTING
 SURFACE 40 INCHES (1015 MM) MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH
 FLOOR OR GROUND. MIRRORS NOT LOCATED ABOVE LAVATORIES
 OR COUNTERTOPS SHALL BE INSTALLED WITH THE BOTTOM EDGE
 OF THE REFLECTING SURFACE 35 INCHES (890 MM) MAXIMUM
 ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 4)SHEET LS1. PLEASE PROVIDE HOW ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES
 WILL BE ACCOMPLISHED FOR DOORS 1501A, 1508 & 1509,
 PLEASE PROVIDE WHERE THE REMAINING FUNDS WILL BE SPENT
 FOR THE ACCESSIBLE UPGRADES UNTIL THE 20% OF THE
 CONTRACT PRICE HAS BEEN MET.
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
 COOPERATION.
