| IMPROVEMENT". |

| THE PRELIMINARY FLOOD ZONE MAP (NOT YET ADOPTED) WILL |
| LIKELY REMOVE THIS PROPERTY FROM THE SFHA, SO THAT |
| LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT THE STRUCTURE IS PROBABLY HIGH |
| ENOUGH. WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO USE THE PRELIMINARY MAP |
| FOR REGULATORY PURPOSES; THIS CAN BE USED ONLY AFTER |

| B. A SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT REQUIRES THAT THE BUILDING |
| BE BROUGHT INTO COMPLIANCE. THE DFE AT THIS LOCATION IS |
| 16.5' NGVD29 (16' PER FIRM PLUS 6" FREEBOARD). AN |
| ELEVATION CERTIFICATE WOULD PROVIDE THE INFORMATION TO |
| DETERMINE WHETHER OR NOT THE BUILDING IS ALREADY |
| COMPLIANT. MY GUESS (THE "GOOD NEWS") IS THAT THE |

| EQUIPMENT IS NOT LOWER THAN THE FINISHED FLOOR, OR IF |
| IT IS ON THE ROOF, THE BUILDING MAY BE COMPLIANT. |
