 1- AFTER PLANS ARE REVISED, BRING THEM TO PALM BEACH
 COUNTY (2300 N. JOG RD.) FOR IMPACT FEES ASSESSMENT.
 BRING BACK COUNTY STAMPED PLANS AND COPY OF PAID
 RECEIPT IF FEES ARE DUE. COUNTY IMPACT FEE ORDINANCE OF
 THE UNIFIED LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE. (NOTE: THIS MAY BE
 DONE LATER WHEN PERMIT IS READY TO BE ISSUED).
  
 2- SHEET A-1:
 A) REVISE OCCUPANCY SPECIFIED. THIS IS GROUP R3 NOT R2.
 SEE SEC. 310.5 FBC-BUILDING, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 B) REVISE THE LEVEL OF ALTERATION SPECIFIED. ACCORDING
 TO WORK SHOWN ON PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS THIS IS
 ALTERATION LEVEL 3 NOT LEVEL 2. SEE SEC. 505
 FBC-EXISTING BUILDING, 5TH EDITION (2014). AND, THE
 CONVERSION OF GARAGE TO LIVABLE AREA IS A CHANGE OF
 OCCUPANCY. SEE SEC. 506 AND SEC. 1001.3.1 FBC-EXISTING
 BUILDING, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 C) CLARIFY/REVISE DEMOLITION NOTES FOR REMOVAL. THERE
 ARE TWO NOTES #1. AND, ONE OF THEM SAYS " ALL EXTERIOR
 DOORS AND WINDOWS TO REMAIN". FLOOR PLAN ON SAME SHEET
 SPECIFIES EXISTING WINDOWS AND DOORS TO BE REPLACED.
 REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 3- SHEET A-2:
 A) CLARIFY FOOTING SCHEDULE AND FOOTINGS SHOWN ON THE
 FOUNDATION PLANS. THERE ARE TWO F2 FOOTINGS WITH
 DIFFERENT SPECIFICATIONS. CLEARLY IDENTIFY EACH FOOTING
 SHOWN ON THE FOUNDATION PLANS. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
  
 B) WALL SECTION: SPECIFY THE VAPOR RETARDER AS REQUIRED
 BY SEC. R506.2.3 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 4- SPECIFY CARBON MONOXIDE ALARMS WITHIN 10 FEET OF
 EACH BEDROOM AS REQUIRED BY SEC. R315 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 5- ENERGY CALCULATIONS SUBMITTED:
 NOTE: THIS HOUSE IS A CONTRIBUTING HISTORIC HOUSE. IT
 IS EXEMPT FORM THE FBC-ENERGY CONSERVATION CODE.
 (ENERGY CALCULATIONS AND A/C EQUIPMENT SIZING
 CALCULATIONS ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS. EQUIPMENT SIZING
 CALCULATIONS ARE REQUIRED). IF CONTRACTOR STILL WANTS
 TO SUBMIT THE ENERGY CALCULATIONS, THEN THE FOLLOWING
 NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED:
  
 A) COMPLETE ALL THE INFORMATION ON TOP OF FORM,
 INCLUDING OWNER NAME AND BUILDER NAME.
 B) REVISE ITEM #1. THIS IS NOT AN ADDITION. THIS IS AN
 EXISTING BUILDING.
 C) NUMBER OF BEDROOMS IS INCORRECT. CALCULATIONS SEEMS
 TO BE DONE FOR ENTIRE HOUSE.
 D) CONDITIONED FLOOR ARE DOESN'T MATCH AREA SHOWN ON
 PLANS.
 E) WALL TYPES ON ITEM #9 NEED TO INCLUDE THE CONCRETE
 BLOCK WALL SHOWN ON SHEET A-2 BY THE NEW BEDROOM. SEE
 LEGEND FOR WALL TYPE "E1".
 F) PLANS SHOW NEW WATER HEATER, BUT ITEM # 14 STATES
 "NONE REQUIRED". CLARIFY/REVISE.
 G) OWNER/AGENT TO CERTIFY AND DATE BOTTOM OF FORM.
 H) SEC. R806.2 FBC-RESIDENTIAL REQUIRES 1/150 RATIO FOR
 ATTIC VENTILATION. THE ATTIC VENTILATION SHOWN ON PAGE
 2 OF 4 IS 1/300. PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS AND
 DETAILS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SEC.
 R806.2 WHICH ALLOWS 1/300 VENTING.
 I) REVISE DOORS INFORMATION SHOWN ON PAGE 3 OF 4. PLANS
 AND PRODUCT APPROVALS SUBMITTED DON'T SHOW ANY WOOD
 DOOR.
 J) THE WINDOWS OVERHANG DEPTH AND SEPARATION SHOWN ON
 PAGE 3 OF 4 DON'T MATCH PLANS. REVISE AS REQUIRED.
 K) BUILDER TO COMPLETE THE EPL DISPLAY CARD.
 L) PROVIDE THE INSPECTION CHECKLIST.
  
 ***PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH
 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
 ***PLEASE INSERT ANY REVISED DRAWING AND REMOVE OLD
 DRAWING. DON'T STAPLE OLD DRAWINGS. SUBMIT OLD DRAWINGS
 FOR REFERENCE.
