 CHECKLIST.
 CODE: FBC-5TH EDITION (2014).
  
 1- A) ENGINEER TO PAY FOUR TIMES THE PLAN REVIEW FEES
 AS REQUIRED BY FLORIDA STATUTE 553.80(2)(B) FOR
 MULTIPLE FAILURES TO PROVIDE A COMPLETE ONE HOUR FIRE
 RATED WALL ASSEMBLY.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 B) NEED 1 HOUR FIRE RESISTANCE WALL WITH EXPOSURE ON
 BOTH SIDES OF THE WEST SIDE WALL. REVISE PLANS AS
 REQUIRED. PROVIDE FIRE RATED WALL DETAIL AND
 SPECIFICATIONS.
 RESPONSE:
 REPEAT COMMENT. ENGINEER OF RECORD NEEDS TO PROVIDE A
 COMPLETE WALL ASSEMBLY DETAIL AND SPECIFICATIONS.
 INFORMATION SUBMITTED IS INSUFFICIENT. IT DOESN'T
 SPECIFY A COMPLETE ASSEMBLY ON BOTH SIDES OF THE WALL.
 NEED TO PROVIDE COMPLETE SPECIFICATIONS (TYPE,
 THICKNESS OF MATERIALS, ETC) ON EACH SIDE OF THE WALL.
 NOTE: UL 263 IS AN STANDARD TEST METHOD NOT FIRE RATED
 ASSEMBLY.
  
 2- VALUATION DECLARED IN THE PERMIT APPLICATION IS TOO
 LOW. VALUATION TO INCLUDE ALL LABOR, MATERIALS,
 CONTRACTOR OVERHEAD AND PROFIT AND ALL L DESIGN
 PROFESSIONAL FEES AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 109.3 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
 RESPONSE: REPEAT COMMENT. NOT ADDRESSED AT ALL. SINCE
 THERE WAS NO RESPONSE AFTER SEVERAL REQUESTS, THE
 VALUATION WAS ESTIMATED TO BE $30,000 +/-. THE PERMIT
 FEE IS $858.56.
  
 3- THE ATTACHMENT OF THE BARN DOORS SHOWN NORTH
 ELEVATION IS NOT CLEAR AND NEEDS MORE INFORMATION: A)
 THERE ARE NO SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE NUMBER AND LOCATION
 OF FASTENERS. B) THE SCREW SIZE #8 X 1-5/8" SPECIFIED
 MAY NOT BE ADEQUATE. THE LENGTH OF THIS SCREW MAY JUST
 BE ENOUGH TO FASTEN TO THE STUCCO INSTEAD OF THE
 FRAMING MEMBERS. C) CLEARLY SPECIFY HOW ARE THESE DOORS
 ATTACHED TO THE STRUCTURE FRAMING MEMBERS. D) SPECIFY
 HOW ARE THE BARN DOORS SCREWED TOGETHER. SEC. R301.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 4- SITE PLAN ON SHEET S1 SPECIFIES 3'-0" SETBACK ON THE
 WEST SIDE. THIS IS INCORRECT. SEE SURVEY AND REVISE AS
 REQUIRED. SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
  
 5- WINDOW SHOWN ON THE EAST ELEVATION IS LOCATED IN THE
 END ZONE, NOT INTERIOR ZONE. IT SHOULD BE NOTED AS "B"
 NOT "A". REVISE AS REQUIRED. SEC. R301.1
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL.
  
 ***PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSE LETTER ADDRESSING EACH
 COMMENT TO EXPEDITE THE REVIEW PROCESS.
