| PROPERTY LINE ON THE WEST SIDE. ACCORDING TO TABLE |
| R302.1(1) FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014) NEED THE |
| FOLLOWING: |
| A) OPENINGS ARE NOT ALLOWED. |
| RESPONSE: LAUNDRY WINDOW ON THE WEST WALL WAS REMOVED |
| BUT A NEW OPENING WAS CREATED FOR THE NEW A/C. NO |
| OPENINGS ARE ALLOWED. NEED TO KEEP ONE HOUR FIRE RATING |
| ON THE WALL. A/C UNIT WILL BRAKE THE FIRE RATING OF THE |
| ASSEMBLY. REVISE AS REQUIRED. |

| B) NEED 1 HOUR FIRE RESISTANCE WALL WITH EXPOSURE ON |
| BOTH SIDES OF THE WEST SIDE WALL. REVISE PLANS AS |
| REQUIRED. PROVIDE FIRE RATED WALL DETAIL AND |
| SPECIFICATIONS. |
