 A 6 INCH CHANGE IN GRADE FROM THE INTERIOR FINISH FLOOR
 THE FRONT ENTRY AND THE CITY SIDEWALK.
 2014 FBC-B 3202.2 ENCROACHMENTS ABOVE GRADE AND BELOW 8
 FEET IN HEIGHT. ENCROACHMENTS INTO THE PUBLIC

 HEIGHT SHALL BE PROHIBITED EXCEPT AS PROVIDED FOR IN

 SHALL APPLY TO RAMPS USED AS A COMPONENT OF A MEANS OF
 EGRESS.
 2014 FBC-ACCESS. CODE 405.1. RAMPS ON ACCESSIBLE ROUTES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH 405.
  
 1D)SEMI-COMPLIED. THE NEW COURTYARD LAYOUT INDICATES
 THE 2ND EXIT IN AN UTILITY/ SERVICE AREA. PLEASE REVIEW
 FBC-B 1014.2 EGRESS THROUGH INTERVENING SPACES. . (1)
 EGRESS SHALL NOT PASS THROUGH KITCHENS, STORAGE ROOMS,
 CLOSETS OR SPACES USED FOR SIMILAR PURPOSES.
  
 WITH THE NEW EGRESS OPENING IN THE S. E. CORNER OF THE
 COURTYARD THE EXISTING GATED OPENING IN THE SOUTHWEST
 CORNER WOULD MEET THE ? DIAGONAL DISTANCE, THE GATES
 WOULD HAVE HAD TO BE OUTSWING.

 OCCUPANT LOAD OF 50 OR MORE REQUIRES 2 MEANS OF EGRESS.
 PLEASE ALSO NOTE SINCE THERE ARE NO FIRE SPRINKLERS THE
 2 EXITS WILL NEED TO BE ? THE DIAGONAL DISTANCE APART.

 WHERE TWO EXITS OR EXIT ACCESS DOORWAYS ARE REQUIRED

 EXIT ACCESS DOORWAYS SHALL BE PLACED A DISTANCE APART
 EQUAL TO NOT LESS THAN ONE-HALF OF THE LENGTH OF THE
 MAXIMUM OVERALL DIAGONAL DIMENSION OF THE BUILDING OR
 AREA TO BE SERVED MEASURED IN A STRAIGHT LINE BETWEEN

 PENETRATIONS WILL BE FRAMED FOR THE HOOD INTAKE AND
 EXHAUST FANS, FRAMING DETAILS FOR THE ROOF TOP UNITS
 NOR DETAILS FOR ROOF TOP CURBS TO THE MWFRS (MAIN WIND
 FORCE RESISTING SYSTEM). DETAILS ARE LACKING ALSO HOW
 THE ROOFTOP FANS WILL BE ANCHORED TO THE CURBS NOR THE
 RTU UNITS TO THE ROOF TOP CURBS.
 FOR ALL ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT, CURBS OR A/C STANDS,
 DETAILED ATTACHMENT TO THE ROOF FRAMING & DECK AS WELL
 AS FROM THE CURB OR ROOF STAND TO THE EQUIPMENT ABOVE.
 2014 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
