 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) LIFE SAFETY PLAN:
  
 1A) THE LIFE SAFETY PLAN INDICATES ON THE INTERIOR OF
 THE RESTAURANT AN OCCUPANCY GREATER THAN 50 OCCUPANTS,
 PLEASE NOTE THE MAIN FRONT ENTRY DOOR WILL BE REQUIRED
 TO SWING OUT. SEE THE 2014 FBC-B 1008.1.2. DOORS SHALL
 SWING IN THE DIRECTION OF EGRESS TRAVEL WHERE SERVING A
 ROOM OR AREA CONTAINING AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 50 OR MORE
 PERSONS.
  
 1B) THE OTHER ISSUE WILL BE WITH THE FRONT ENTRY DOOR
 REQUIRED TO SWING OUT, THE DOOR WILL NEED TO BE MOVED
 SINCE THE DOOR CANNOT SWING OUT OVER THE PROPERTY LINE.
 2014 FBC-B 3202.2 ENCROACHMENTS ABOVE GRADE AND BELOW 8
 FEET IN HEIGHT. ENCROACHMENTS INTO THE PUBLIC
 RIGHT-OF-WAY ABOVE GRADE AND BELOW 8 FEET (2438 MM) IN
 HEIGHT SHALL BE PROHIBITED EXCEPT AS PROVIDED FOR IN
 SECTIONS 3202.2.1 THROUGH 3202.2.3. DOORS AND WINDOWS

 2014 FBC-ACCESS. CODE 405.1. RAMPS ON ACCESSIBLE ROUTES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH 405.
  
 1D) THE REAR COURTYARD AREA IS APPROXIMATELY 1116 SQ.
 FT./ 15 = 76 OCCUPANTS, THE FBC-B SECTION 1015.1 AND
 TABLE 1015.1 WHEN THERE IS AN OCCUPANT LOAD OF 50 OR
 MORE REQUIRES 2 MEANS OF EGRESS. PLEASE ALSO NOTE SINCE
 THERE ARE NO FIRE SPRINKLERS THE 2 EXITS WILL NEED TO
 BE ? THE DIAGONAL DISTANCE APART.
 2014 FBC-B 1015.2.1 TWO EXITS OR EXIT ACCESS DOORWAYS.
 WHERE TWO EXITS OR EXIT ACCESS DOORWAYS ARE REQUIRED
 FROM ANY PORTION OF THE EXIT ACCESS, THE EXIT DOORS OR
 EXIT ACCESS DOORWAYS SHALL BE PLACED A DISTANCE APART
 EQUAL TO NOT LESS THAN ONE-HALF OF THE LENGTH OF THE
 MAXIMUM OVERALL DIAGONAL DIMENSION OF THE BUILDING OR
 AREA TO BE SERVED MEASURED IN A STRAIGHT LINE BETWEEN
 EXIT DOORS.
  
 1E) THE 2 EXIT DOORWAYS/ GATES WITHIN THE COURTYARD
 WILL NEED TO COMPLY WITH: FBC-B 1015.2.1 TWO EXITS OR
 EXIT ACCESS DOORWAYS. WHERE TWO EXITS OR EXIT ACCESS
 DOORWAYS ARE REQUIRED FROM ANY PORTION OF THE EXIT
 ACCESS, THE EXIT DOORS OR EXIT ACCESS DOORWAYS SHALL BE
 PLACED A DISTANCE APART EQUAL TO NOT LESS THAN ONE-HALF
 OF THE LENGTH OF THE MAXIMUM OVERALL DIAGONAL DIMENSION
 OF THE BUILDING OR AREA TO BE SERVED MEASURED IN A
 STRAIGHT LINE BETWEEN EXIT DOORS OR EXIT ACCESS
 DOORWAYS.
  
 1F) PLEASE PROVIDE EXIT SIGNAGE FOR THE COURTYARD AREA
 FOR EACH GATE OR DOORWAY. EXIT SIGNAGE SHALL COMPLY
 WITH FBC-B 1011.4 & 1011.6.1.
  
 2) SHEET LS-100 THE DINING ROOM WILL NEED TO SHOW
 COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-ACCESS. CODE:
 2A) 226.1 WHERE DINING SURFACES ARE PROVIDED FOR THE
 CONSUMPTION OF FOOD OR DRINK, AT LEAST 5 PERCENT OF THE
 SEATING SPACES AND STANDING SPACES AT THE DINING
 SURFACES SHALL COMPLY WITH 902. IN ADDITION, WHERE WORK
 SURFACES ARE PROVIDED FOR USE BY OTHER THAN EMPLOYEES,
 AT LEAST 5 PERCENT SHALL COMPLY WITH 902. PLEASE SHOW
 COMPLIANCE.
  
 2B) DINING SURFACES. 902.3 HEIGHT. THE TOPS OF DINING
 SURFACES SHALL BE 28 INCHES) MINIMUM AND 34 INCHES
 MAXIMUM ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR OR GROUND.
  
 2C) 226.2 DISPERSION. DINING SURFACES REQUIRED TO
 COMPLY WITH 902 SHALL BE DISPERSED THROUGHOUT THE SPACE
 OR FACILITY CONTAINING DINING SURFACES.
  
 3) STRUCTURAL SHEETS NOR THE MECHANICAL SHEETS SHOW
 ROOF FRAMING DETAILS FOR THE NEW ROOF TOP PENETRATIONS
 WILL BE FRAMED FOR THE HOOD INTAKE AND EXHAUST FANS,
 FRAMING DETAILS FOR THE ROOF TOP UNITS NOR DETAILS FOR
 ROOF TOP CURBS TO THE MWFRS (MAIN WIND FORCE RESISTING
 SYSTEM). DETAILS ARE LACKING ALSO HOW THE ROOFTOP FANS
 WILL BE ANCHORED TO THE CURBS NOR THE RTU UNITS TO THE
 ROOF TOP CURBS.
 FOR ALL ROOF TOP EQUIPMENT, CURBS OR A/C STANDS,
 DETAILED ATTACHMENT TO THE ROOF FRAMING & DECK AS WELL
 AS FROM THE CURB OR ROOF STAND TO THE EQUIPMENT ABOVE.
 2014 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
 LOADS?
  
 2014 FBC-M- 301.15 WIND RESISTANCE. MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES AND SUPPORTS THAT ARE EXPOSED TO
 WIND SHALL BE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED TO RESIST THE WIND
 PRESSURES DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING
  
 4) SHEET A-100 FLOOR PLAN VERSES SHEET A-200 THE EAST
 ELEVATION. ON SHEET A-100 THE FRONT ENTRY DOOR IS IN
 ONE LOCATION AND ANOTHER LOCATION ON THE FRONT
 ELEVATION OF THE BUILDING. ON THE ELEVATION IT APPEARS
 TO BE FLIPPED AS IF REVERSED FROM THE INTERIOR OF THE
 BUILDING? DISCREPANCY IN PLANS. 107.2.1.3. ADDITIONAL
 INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 5) SHEET A-101 DETAIL # 2 SHOWS WHAT APPEARS AS A DROP
 CEILING FROM RAFTER JOIST. SHEET A-102 DETAIL 2
 INDICATES THE ROOF SYSTEM TO BE A WOOD TRUSS SYSTEM.
 AGAIN A DISCREPANCY IN PLANS , PLEASE IDENTIFY WHAT
 TYPE OF ROOF FRAMING IS HOLDING UP THE ROOF. THE SECOND
 ISSUE WITH THE DETAIL 2 ON SHEET A101 IS THERE IS NO
 INFORMATION WHERE THE CEILING IS FOR THIS ROOM. OTHER
 SHEETS INDICATE THE USE OF ICYNENE INSULATION, IN THIS
 DETAIL THE LOCATION OF THE ICYNENE IS NOT GIVEN. THIS
 DETAIL DOESN?T STATE HOW THIS DROPPED CEILING WILL BE
 ANCHORED TO THE MAIN ROOF FRAMING MEMBERS NOR HOW THE
 DROPPED CEILING IS TO BE CONSTRUCTED, WHAT MATERIALS
 AND AT WHAT CENTERS, WILL THERE BE A TOP AND BOTTOM
 SHEATHING OR DECKING ENCAPSULATION THE DROPPED CEILING
 FRAMING MEMBERS?
 DEPENDING ON WHICH SUBSYSTEM IS BEING USED AND THE
 LOCATION OF THE ICYNENE PLEASE CIRCLE THE CORRECT
 APPLICATION IN THE ICC-ES-REPORT.
  
 FBC-B 2603.4 THERMAL BARRIER. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED FOR IN
 SECTIONS 2603.4.1 AND 2603.10, FOAM PLASTIC SHALL BE
 SEPARATED FROM THE INTERIOR OF A BUILDING BY AN
 APPROVED THERMAL BARRIER OF 1/2- INCH (12.7 MM) GYPSUM
 WALLBOARD OR A MATERIAL THAT IS TESTED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH AND MEETS THE ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA OF BOTH THE
 TEMPERATURE TRANSMISSION FIRE TEST AND THE INTEGRITY
 FIRE TEST OF NFPA 275. COMBUSTIBLE CONCEALED SPACES
 SHALL COMPLY WITH SECTION 718.
  
 FBC-B 2603.5.7 IGNITION. EXTERIOR WALLS SHALL NOT
 EXHIBIT SUSTAINED FLAMING WHERE TESTED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH NFPA 268. WHERE A MATERIAL IS INTENDED TO BE
 INSTALLED IN MORE THAN ONE THICKNESS, TESTS OF THE
 MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM THICKNESS INTENDED FOR USE SHALL BE
 PERFORMED.
  
 6) SHEET A-102 DETAIL # 2 SHOWS THE EXISTING BUILDING
 WITH WHAT APPEARS TO BE WOOD TRUSSES WITH A WOOD DECK.
 THE NOTE ABOVE THIS DETAIL INDICATES NEW ROOF WITH
 SUPERMA WATERPROOFING MEMBRANE OVER CONCRETE DECK. ON
 THE SAME SHEET DETAIL # 5 INDICATES TO USE THIS SAME
 ROOFING PRODUCT OVER A 8 INCH CONCRETE DECK. PLEASE
 ALSO REVIEW SHEET S2.0 ON ALL OF THE DETAILS SHOWN THE
 USE OF 16 INCH DEEP WOOD TRUSSES AT 16 INCHES ON
 CENTER. THERE IS NO MENTION OF WHAT TYPE OF MATERIAL
 WILL BE USED FOR DECKING ON THE NEW WOOD TRUSSES?
 107.2.1.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED.
  
 7) THE PRODUCT APPROVAL NANA WALL NOA 15-0226.05 WAS
 SUBMITTED PLEASE PROVIDE A DETAIL FOR THE BOTTOM RAIL
 SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2014 FBC-ACCESS. CODE L 303. WHERE
 CHANGES IN LEVEL ARE PERMITTED IN FLOOR OR GROUND
 SURFACES, THEY SHALL COMPLY WITH 303. 303.2 VERTICAL.
 CHANGES IN LEVEL OF 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM) HIGH MAXIMUM
 SHALL BE PERMITTED TO BE VERTICAL. 303.3 BEVELED.
 CHANGES IN LEVEL BETWEEN 1/4 INCH (6.4 MM) HIGH MINIMUM
 AND 1/2 INCH (13 MM) HIGH MAXIMUM SHALL BE BEVELED WITH
 A SLOPE NOT STEEPER THAN 1:2.
  
 8) IMPACT FEES. BEFORE A PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT, MAY BE
 ISSUED, IMPACT FEES MUST BE PAID TO PALM BEACH COUNTY.
 THE ACTUAL PERMIT SET OF PLANS MUST BE STAMPED BY THAT
 OFFICE, AND A COPY OF THE PAID RECEIPT ATTACHED TO THE
 PERMIT APPLICATION. PLEASE CALL (561)233-5025 FOR MORE
 INFORMATION.
  
 9) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
