 PLEASE SEE THE TWO REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION IN ITEM #2.
 THIS INFORMATION MAY BE SENT VIA EMAIL. SINCE THE NEXT
 REVIEW WILL BE THE 7TH FOR THE PROPOSED ACCESSIBLE
 SPACES LAYOUT, YOUR RESPONSE ALONG WITH THE MOST RECENT
 RESUBMITTAL WILL BE TAKEN TO THE BUILDING OFFICIAL FOR
 A DECISION REGARDING THE LOCATION OF THE ACCESSIBLE
 SPACES. SOME INFORMATION IN THIS REVIEW ARE FOR
 INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES.
  
 1. SEE FBC 2014 ACCESSIBLITY 202.3 (ALTERATIONS), 208
 (PARKING SPACES), 502 (PARKING SPACES), 206 (ACCESSIBLE
 ROUTE).
  
 YOU MAY FIND THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENT USEFUL,
 PARTICULARLY THE INTRODUCTION: "WHEN A BUSINESS
 RESTRIPES A PARKING LOT, IT MUST PROVIDE ACCESSIBLE
 PARKING SPACES AS REQUIRED BY THE ADA STANDARDS FOR
 ACCESSIBLE DESIGN." THERE IS A STATEMENT ON THE PLAN -
 "SAME TO SAME". IT IS NOT CLEAR IF THIS WAS REVIEWED OR
 APPROVED BY THIS BUILDING DIVISION AND NON-COMPLIANT
 CONDITIONS ARE REQUIRED TO BE CORRECTED WHEN RESTRIPED
 (EVEN IF INADVERTENTLY APPROVED BY THIS OR ANOTHER
 BUILDING DIVISION). THE THREE BUILDINGS WERE COMPLETED
 IN 2004 AND 2006 (PER PAPA, SO SHOULD BE 100% COMPLIANT
 WITH ADA). IN THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH, SEPARATE
 PERMITS ARE REQUIRED FOR PARKING LOTS AND RESTRIPES. IT
 APPEARS THAT THE THREE BUILDINGS AND ASSOCIATED PARKING
 LOT(S) WERE CONSTRUCTED WHEN UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF
 PALM BEACH COUNTY, AND ANNEXED AT SOME TIME AFTER 2004.
  
 BASED ON THE INFORMATION PROVIDED, SEVEN SPACES ARE
 REQUIRED, NINE PROVIDED.

 2. THE NUMBER OF UNITS (TENANT SPACES) FOR EACH
 BUILDING WERE NOT SHOWN (SEE PREVIOUS LISTS REQUESTING
 LOCATIONS OF ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCES). ALTHOUGH THE SITE
 PLAN DESIGNATES TWO OF THE BUILDINGS AS "GENERAL REPAIR
 AND MAINTENANCE", THESE BUILDINGS ARE AUTOMOTIVE
 SERVICE OR REPAIR FACILITIES, CONSIDERED "PLACES OF
 PUBLIC ACCOMODATION" AND NOT EXEMPT FROM ACCESSIBILITY
 (TIRE STORE, OIL CHANGE, AUTO REPAIR).
  
 EITHER REVISE THE LOCATION OF ACCESSIBLE SPACES OR
 EXPLAIN WHY THE FOLLOWING SPACES ARE NOT DESIGNATED AS
 ACCESSIBLE. SEE FBC 208.3, LOCATION: "PARKING SPACES
 COMPLYING WITH 502 THAT SERVE A PARTICULAR BUILDING OR
 FACILITY SHALL BE ON THE SHORTEST ACCESSIBLE ROUTE FROM
 PARKING TO AN ENTRANCE COMPLYING WITH 206.4." ALSO IN
 THIS SECTION: "WHERE PARKING SERVES MORE THAN ONE
 ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE, PARKING SPACES COMPLYING WITH 502
 SHALL BE DISPERSED AND LOCATED ON THE SHORTEST
 ACCESSIBLE ROUTE TO THE ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCES. IF THERE
 ARE MULTIPLE ENTRANCES FOR MULTIPLE RETAIL STORES THE
 PARKING SPACES MUST BE DISPERSED TO PROVIDE PARKING AT
 THE NEAREST ACCESSIBLE ENTRANCE."
  
 THE "GENERAL REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE (16 BAYS)" BUILDING
 HAS ONE SPACE WHICH IS NOT IN FRONT OF A PULL THROUGH
 SERVICE BAY (PER PHOTOGRAPHS AVAILABLE ON INTERNET AND
 PHOTOGRAPH PROVIDED WITH THE PLAN). PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY
 THIS ONE SPACE IS NOT ACCESSIBLE. THE TWO SPACES SHOWN
 AS SERVING THIS THREE TENANT BUILDING ARE LOCATED
 ACROSS THE VEHICULAR WAY AND DO NOT APPEAR TO BE ON THE
 SHORTEST ACCESSIBLE ROUTE.
  
 THE "GENERAL REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE (7 BAYS)" BUILDING
 HAS A PARKING SPACE ADJACENT TO THE BUILDING. PLEASE
 EXPLAIN WHY THIS ONE SPACE IS NOT ACCESSIBLE. THE TWO
 SPACES SHOWN AS SERVING THIS BUILDING (NUMBER OF
 TENANTS NOT KNOWN) AND THE "INLINE RETAIL & QUALITY
 RESTAURANT" BUILDING ARE LOCATED FIVE SPACES AWAY FROM
 THE AREA AT THE END OF THE ACCESSIBLE ROUTE (GENERAL
 REPAIR) AND IS NOT NEAR THE "INLINE RETAIL" BUILDING.
 AS THE USER PASSES THESE FIVE SPACES TO REACH THE
 "GENERAL REPAIR" BUILDING, AND IS NOT ADJACENT TO THE
 "RETAIL" BUILDING, THESE TWO SPACES DO NOT APPEAR TO BE
 ON THE SHORTEST ROUTE.
  
 EITHER REVISE THE PLAN TO INCLUDE THE TWO ACCESSIBLE
 SPACES REQUESTED OR PROVIDE A RESPONSE EXPLAINING WHY
 THESE TWO SPACES ARE NOT ACCESSIBLE.
