 FOR CONCRETE ROOF TILE DRY-IN INSPECTION . FOLLOWING
 COMMENTS NEED TO BE ADDRESSED BEFORE INSPECTIONS TO
 AVOID CONFLICTS/DELAYS. THIS CHECKLIST WAS E-MAILED TO

 1- PROVIDE PRODUCT APPROVAL (2 COPIES) FOR:
 A) FLAT ROOF. AND, IDENTIFY APPROVED ASSEMBLY TO BE
 INSTALLED. NOTE: SIGNED & SEALED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS
 WILL BE REQUIRED IF THE ASSEMBLY DOESN'T MEET THE
 DESIGN PRESSURES OF SEC. R301.
  
 RESPONSE: NOT ADDRESSED YET. NEED TO PROVIDE. THIS IS
 FOR THE FLAT DECK ABOVE THE NEW TWO STORY STAIRWAY
 TOWER. SEE PLANS.

 RESPONSE: FLORIDA PRODUCT APPROVAL FL2144-R6 SUBMITTED
 CAN NOT BE USED BECAUSE OF THE FOLLOWING: (1)IT'S NOT
 DESIGNED TO RECEIVED TILE AS SHOWN ON ARCHITECTURAL
 PLANS. SEE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION TABLE ON PAGE 1 OF 3 OF
 FL2144-R6 SUBMITTED FOR THE ROOF COATINGS ALLOWED FOR
 THIS TYPE OF LIQUID APPLIED MEMBRANE. NONE OF THEM
 DESCRIBE TILE AS THE ROOF COATING. (2) SELECTED
 ASSEMBLIES W-A-1 AND W-A-2 ON PAGE 13 OF 14 OF
 FL2144-R6 ARE FOR FULLY ADHERED MEMBRANES WITH MAXIMUM
 DESIGN PRESSURES OF -60PSF AND -85PSF RESPECTIVELY.
 LIMITATION #9 ON PAGE 3 OF 3 DOESN'T ALLOW DESIGN
 PRESSURES AUGMENTATION. ACCORDING TO SEC. R301 OF
 FBC-RESIDENTIAL, 5TH EDITION (2014) THE DESIGN
 PRESSURES FOR THE PERIMETER AND CORNER AREAS ARE
 HIGHER. THEREFORE THEY CAN NOT BE USED. NEED TO PROVIDE
 PRODUCT APPROVAL THAT IS DESIGNED TO RECEIVE TILE AS
 SPECIFIED ON PLANS. AND, NEED RAS 117 CALCULATIONS IF
 THE SELECTED ASSEMBLY ALLOWS IT.
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 C) INSWING ENTRY DOOR SIZE DOOR AS SHOWN ON PLANS AT
 THE STAIR HALL. PROVIDE COMPLETE FLORIDA PRODUCT
 APPROVAL COVER PAGES AND THE CORRESPONDING DRAWINGS.
 RESPONSE: NOT ADDRESSED.
  
 2- DESIGNER OF RECORD TO APPROVE IN WRITING ALL PRODUCT
 APPROVALS.

 (1) CONCRETE ROOF TILE NOA 12-0222.03 SUBMITTED NOW WAS
 ALREADY SUBMITTED AND APPROVED WITH THE ORIGINAL PERMIT
 SET. CLARIFY WHY SUBMITTING PRODUCT APPROVAL AGAIN.
 SEC. 107.2.1 CITY AMENDMENTS.
 RESPONSE: OK. APPROVED PRODUCT APPROVAL SHOULD BE ON
 SITE ALONG WITH THE REST OF THE APPROVED PRODUCT
 APPROVALS.
  
  
 ORIGINAL COMMENT:
 (2) ARCHITECTURAL PLANS SPECIFY "CEMENT TILE ON 90#
 FELT HOT MOPPED ON 30# FELT TIN TAGGED AT 6" EDGES AND
 12" FIELD O.C." THIS SUBMITTAL INCLUDES BORAL TILESEAL
 SELF-ADHERING UNDERLAYMENT AND TILE BOND ROOF TILE
 ADHESIVE. IF THERE IS A CHANGE IN THE ROOF TILE
 FASTENING AND UNDERLAYMENT METHOD, THEN REVISE
 ARCHITECTURAL PLANS ACCORDINGLY. SEC. 107.2.1.2 CITY
 AMENDMENTS.
 RESPONSE: THIS ITEM STILL NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED.
  
 (3) DESIGNER OF RECORD TO REVIEW AND APPROVE IN WRITING
 ALL PRODUCT APPROVALS AS REQUIRED BY SEC. 107.3.4.1
 CITY AMENDMENTS.

 NOTE: THERE WAS A ROOFING APPLICATION INSERTED IN THE
 PACKAGE SUBMITTED. ROOFING SUB-PERMIT WILL BE PROCESSED
 WHEN PENDING ROOFING ITEMS ARE ADDRESSED.
 RESPONSE: PER MEETING WITH STEVE MALLEK (CJM ROOFING),
 THE ROOFING SUB-PERMIT WAS ISSUED TO ALLOW FOR CONCRETE
 TILE DRY-IN INSPECTIONS. ALL THE PENDING ITEMS NEED TO
 BE ADDRESSED BEFORE INSPECTIONS TO AVOID
