 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1A) THE CONSTRUCTION TYPE IS LISTED AS A IIIB. THIS IS
 A 19 STORY CONDOMINIMUM. PLEASE REFER TO THE 2014 FBC-B
 TABLE 503 FOR A R2 OCCUPANCY. THE BUILDING TYPE IS A
 TYPE : IA.
  
 1B) THE CODE RESEARCH INDICATES THE OCCUPANCY ONLY AS
 R. PLEASE REFERENCE TO WHICH SUB-CATEGORY OF R THE
 PLANS WERE DESIGNED TOO? 2014 FBC-B 310.1.
  
 1C) THE DESIGNER OF RECORD INDICATES THE PLANS WERE
 DESIGNED TO THE 2014 EXISITNG BUILDING CODE, BUT TO
 WHAT COMPLIANCE METHOD. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2014
 FBC-EXISITNG SECTION 301.1. THE REPAIR, ALTERATION,
 CHANGE OF OCCUPANCY, ADDITION OR RELOCATION OF ALL
 EXISTING BUILDINGS SHALL COMPLY WITH ONE OF THE METHODS
 LISTED IN SECTIONS 301.1.1 THROUGH 301.1.3 AS SELECTED
 BY THE APPLICANT.
  
 2) SHEET A-02:
 2A) PLEASE CLARIFY WHAT THE TEERM SUB-FLOOR MEANS. THE
 FLOOR PLAN INDICATES NEW WOOD ANS TILE SUBFLOORS. THIS
 BUILDING BEING A HIGH-RISE HAS CONCRETE DECK FLOORS.
 RESIDENTIAL UNITS REQUIRE FLOOR INSULATION BETWEEN THE
 CONCRETE DECK AND THE FINISH FLOORS TILE AND OR WOOD
 FLOORS. IF THE DESIGNER IS TRUELY USING PLYWOOD
 SUB-FLOORS AND APPLYING EITHER TILE OR WOOD FLOORING
 OVER PLYWOOD SUB-FLOORS THE SUB-FLOORING NEEDS TO
 COMPLY WITH FBC-B 805.1.1 SUBFLOOR CONSTRUCTION.
 FLOOR SLEEPERS, BUCKS AND NAILING BLOCKS SHALL NOT BE
 CONSTRUCTED OF COMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS, UNLESS THE SPACE
 BETWEEN THE FIRE-RESISTANCE-RATED FLOOR ASSEMBLY AND
 THE FLOORING IS EITHER SOLIDLY FILLED WITH
 NONCOMBUSTIBLE MATERIALS OR FIREBLOCKED IN ACCORDANCE
 WITH SECTION 718, AND PROVIDED THAT SUCH OPEN SPACES
 SHALL NOT EXTEND UNDER OR THROUGH PERMANENT PARTITIONS
 OR WALLS. COMPLIANCE WITH THE 3 TEST LISTED BELOW WILL
 ALSO BE REQUIRED.
  
 2B) IF THE DESIGNER OF RECORD IS GOING TO USE
 INSULATION AS PART OF THE SOUND PROOFING THEN
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE (3) LISTED TEST HAS TO BE ACHIEVED:

 TO THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS AND MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS
 LISTED UNDER EACH OF THE STANDARDS, PROVIDE THE ACTUAL
 TEST:
 PLEASE PROVIDE TEST REPORTS SHOWING COMPLIANCE WITH:
 2B)(1) FBC-B 2014 1207.3 STRUCTURE-BORNE SOUND.
 FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES BETWEEN DWELLING UNITS OR
 BETWEEN A DWELLING UNIT AND A PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREA
 WITHIN THE STRUCTURE SHALL HAVE AN IMPACT INSULATION
 CLASS (IIC) RATING OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD
 TESTED) WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 492.
  
 2B)(2) FBC-B 2014 1207.2 AIR-BORNE SOUND.
 WALLS, PARTITIONS AND FLOOR/CEILING ASSEMBLIES
 SEPARATING DWELLING UNITS FROM EACH OTHER OR FROM
 PUBLIC OR SERVICE AREAS SHALL HAVE A SOUND TRANSMISSION
 CLASS (STC) OF NOT LESS THAN 50 (45 IF FIELD TESTED)
 FOR AIR-BORNE NOISE WHEN TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM
 E 90.
  
 2B)(3) FLAME SPREAD- FBC-B 2014 603.1. EXCEPTION 2.
 INSULATION INSTALLED BETWEEN A FINISHED FLOOR AND SOLID
 DECKING WITHOUT INTERVENING AIRSPACE SHALL BE ALLOWED
 TO HAVE A FLAME SPREAD INDEX OF NOT MORE THAN 200.
 FLAME SPREAD INDEX. A COMPARATIVE MEASURE, EXPRESSED AS
 A DIMENSIONLESS NUMBER, DERIVED FROM VISUAL
 MEASUREMENTS OF THE SPREAD OF FLAME VERSUS TIME FOR A
 MATERIAL TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ASTM E 84 OR UL 723.
  
 2C) THE FLOOR PLAN INDICATES THE USE OF NEW RAISED
 CEILINGS. THE FLOOR/ CEILING ASSEMBLY IS A CONCRETE
 DECK AND CAN NOT BE MOVED. PLEASE CLARIFY IF THESE
 CEILINGS ARE TO BE CONSIDERED DROPPED CEILINGS AS IN
 DETAIL # 3? IF SO THE DETAIL WILL NEED TO CLARIFY THE
 TYPE OF FRAMING MEMBER, GAUGE OF STEEL, SPACING OF THE
 FRAMING MEMBERS, SPANS OF THE FRAMING MEMBERS, SPACING
 OF STIFFBACKS AND SIZE OF STIFF BACKS, THICKNESS OF
 GYPSUM BOARD TO BE INSTALLED. IF ANCHORS ARE TO OCCUR
 INTO THE CONCRETE DECK PLEASE PROVIDE THE TYPE OF
 ANCHOR AND LENGTH OF ANCHOR. ALSO DECLARE WHAT THE
 FINISHED CEILING HEIGHT WILL BE IN EACH ROOM.
 2014 FBC-B TABLE 2508.1/ ASTM C 754 STEEL FRAMING FOR
 GYPSUM BOARD.
  
 3) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
