 ADMINISTRATION
  
 2014 EXISTING BUILDING CODE LEVEL II 701.3 COMPLIANCE.
 ALL NEW CONSTRUCTION ELEMENTS, COMPONENTS, SYSTEMS, AND
 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE
 FLORIDA BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 1) SHEET A-1.01 SHOWS THE USE OF 2 FT. 8 IN. DOORS IN
 3'-0" OPENINGS. PERMIT # 14120850 INDICATED ALL DOOR
 OPENINGS (WRAPPED OPENINGS AT 36 INCHES FINISH
 DIMENSION) THE 2014 FBC-B SECTION 1008.1.1. SIZE OF
 DOORS, REQUIRES A MINIMUM CLEAR OPENING OF 32 INCHES.
 THE MINIMUM WIDTH OF EACH DOOR OPENING SHALL BE
 SUFFICIENT FOR THE OCCUPANT LOAD THEREOF AND SHALL
 PROVIDE A CLEAR WIDTH OF 32 INCHES (813 MM). CLEAR
 OPENINGS OF DOORWAYS WITH SWINGING DOORS SHALL BE
 MEASURED BETWEEN THE FACE OF THE DOOR AND THE STOP,
 WITH THE DOOR OPEN 90 DEGREES.
  
 2) A-1.01 NOR THE ELECTRICAL SHEET SHOW HOW COMPLIANCE
 WITH 2014 FBC-B SECTION 1006.3(2) WILL BE ACHIEVED.
 1006.3 EMERGENCY POWER FOR ILLUMINATION.
 THE POWER SUPPLY FOR MEANS OF EGRESS ILLUMINATION SHALL
 NORMALLY BE PROVIDED BY THE PREMISES? ELECTRICAL
 SUPPLY.
 IN THE EVENT OF POWER SUPPLY FAILURE, AN EMERGENCY
 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM SHALL AUTOMATICALLY ILLUMINATE ALL OF
 THE FOLLOWING AREAS:
 1. AISLES AND UNENCLOSED EGRESS STAIRWAYS IN ROOMS AND
 SPACES THAT REQUIRE TWO OR MORE MEANS OF EGRESS.
  
 2. CORRIDORS, INTERIOR EXIT STAIRWAYS AND RAMPS AND
 EXIT PASSAGEWAYS IN BUILDINGS REQUIRED TO HAVE TWO OR
 MORE EXITS.
  
 3. EXTERIOR EGRESS COMPONENTS AT OTHER THAN THEIR
 LEVELS OF EXIT DISCHARGE UNTIL EXIT DISCHARGE IS
 ACCOMPLISHED FOR BUILDINGS REQUIRED TO HAVE TWO OR MORE
 EXITS.
  
 3) SHEET A-1.01 DOES NOT SHOW THE LOCATION WHERE FIRE
 EXTINGUISHERS ARE TO BE LOCATED. FBC-B 906.1(5) WHERE
 REQUIRED BY THE FIRE PREVENTION CODE.
  
 4) PLEASE NOTE THE COVER SHEET INDICATES THIS IS A
 FULLY FIRE SPRINKLERED BUILDING. PART OF THE SCOPE OF
 WORK UNDER THIS PERMIT IS THE INSTALATION OF ACOUSTICAL
 CEILINGS. THERE WAS NO FIRE SPRINKLER PLANS SUBMITTED
 FOR THE DROPPING OF THE FIRE SPRINKLERS TO THE NEW
 ACOUSTICAL CEILING HEIGHT. 2014 FBC-B 903.3.1.1 NFPA 13
 SPRINKLER SYSTEMS. WHERE THE PROVISIONS OF THIS CODE
 REQUIRE THAT A BUILDING OR PORTION THEREOF BE EQUIPPED
 THROUGHOUT WITH AN AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER SYSTEM IN
 ACCORDANCE WITH THIS SECTION, SPRINKLERS SHALL BE
 INSTALLED THROUGHOUT IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 13 EXCEPT
 AS PROVIDED IN SECTION 903.3.1.1.1.
  
 5) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE REVISION
 & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES AS
 NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
 PAGE WHERE THE CHANGES CAN BE FOUND WILL HELP TO
 EXPEDITE YOUR PERMIT. THANK YOU FOR YOUR ANTICIPATED
