 PLEASE PROVIDE RESPONSES TO THE FOLLOWING IN WRITING.
  
 1) THE PERMIT PLANS SHOW OUTDOOR SEATING. PLEASE
 PROVIDE TWO COPIES OF A SURVEY WHICH SHOWS THE
 DIMENSION FROM THE BUILDING FACE TO THE SOUTH ROSEMARY
 AVENUE RIGHT-OF-WAY AND ANY EASEMENTS THAT ARE WITHIN
 THIS AREA.
  
 2) PRIVACY WINDOW FILM IS NOT PERMITTED. THE WINDOWS
 SHALL MAINTAIN THE TRANSPARENCY. YOU MAY INSTALL BLINDS
 BEHIND THE WINDOW TO PROVIDE PRIVACY.
  
 3) THE PROPOSED CAPITAL ONE CAFE IS LOCATED AT THE
 ROSEMARY AVENUE PORTAL AS DESCRIBED IN THE CITYPLACE
 MASTER DESIGN GUIDELINES. THIS AREA IS TO HAVE
 DISTINCTIVE ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS TO FRAME THE
 ENTRANCE TO ROSEMARY AVENUE. THE PROPOSED ELEVATIONS
 SHOW THE REMOVAL OF THE DISTINCTIVE STONEWORK ELEMENTS
 WHICH FRAME THE DOORWAYS AT THE CORNER OF OKEECHOBEE
 BOULEVARD AND ROSEMARY AVENUE. THESE ARCHITECTURAL
 ELEMENTS PROVIDE THE DETAILING TO PROVIDE THE VISUAL
 INTEREST MANDATED BY THE DESIGN GUIDELINES. STAFF DOES
 NOT SUPPORT THE REMOVAL OF THESE ARCHITECTURAL
 ELEMENTS.
  
 4) IN ORDER TO MAINTAIN THE ARCHITECTURAL VARIATION
 ALONG THE FACADES THAT PROVIDES VISUAL INTEREST, THE
 RECESSED AREAS ALONG THE FACADES (AROUND THE WINDOWS)
 SHALL STAY SMOOTH STUCCO PAINTED IN THE MEDITERRANEAN
 COLOR PALLET. PLEASE PROVIDE THE COLOR YOU PROPOSE TO
 USE.
  
 5) THE PROTRUDING WALL WHERE THE PROPOSED WINDOW,
 FURTHEST NORTH ALONG ROSEMARY AVENUE, IS PROPOSED TO BE
 COVERED WITH NEW CEMENT PLASTER PANELS. PLEASE PROVIDE
 A DESCRIPTION, TO INCLUDE COLOR, OF THESE PANELS.
  
 6) THE DESIGN GUIDELINES REQUIRE THAT THE DESIGN
 CHARACTER BE IN THE HISTORICAL MEDITERRANEAN STYLE. AS
 SUCH, THE PROPOSED WINDOWS ARE LARGER IN PROPORTION
 RELATIVE TO THE WALL AREA THAN IS TYPICALLY FOUND IN
 THE HISTORICAL MEDITERRANEAN STYLE. PLEASE REVIEW THE
 FACADE DESIGN. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE DESIGN GUIDELINES
 REQUIRE THAT LARGER GLASS AREAS SHOULD BE RECESSED OR
 OTHERWISE SHADED. ARCHES ABOVE THESE WINDOWS AS WELL AS
 ADDITIONAL FRAMING OF THE WINDOWS COULD RESULT IN
 COMPLIANCE WITH THE DESIGN GUIDELINES.
  
 7) PLEASE PROVIDE SIGHT LINE DETAILS TO VERIFY THAT ANY
 NEW ROOF MOUNTED EQUIPMENT IS SCREENED FROM PUBLIC
 VIEW. THE FULL HEIGHT DIMENSION OF THE EQUIPMENT PLUS
 THE CURB/RACK SHALL BE SHOWN.
  
 8) SEPARATE PERMITS, WITH PLANS REQUIRED FOR:
  
 A. AWNINGS. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE FLAT AWNINGS ARE NOT
 PERMITTED TO EXTEND PAST THE CORNER TOWER ELEMENT ALONG
 SOUTH ROSEMARY AVENUE AND THE FLAT AWNINGS MAY NOT BE
 MADE OF METAL.
 B. SIGNS
 C. EXTERIOR PAVER WORK. PLEASE NOTE THAT IF ANY WORK IS
 IN THE RIGHT-OF-WAY (VERIFIED WITH THE SURVEY) THEN
 THAT PORTION OF THE WORK WILL REQUIRE A RIGHT-OF-WAY
 PERMIT.
