 1) PLEASE NOTE SHEET S-3 SHOWS A CONCRETE VAULT BEING
 BUILT APPROX. 10 FEET BELOW GRADE. THE PLANS DO NOT
 INDICATE HOW THE DEWATERING OF THE SITE WILL OCCUR. THE
 SOILS REPORT SUBMITTED PROVIDES TO WHAT DEPTH THE
 DEWATERING NEEDS TO OCCUR TO PROVIDE A DRY WORKING
 SURFACE AND TO ALLOW FOR DENSITY TESTING AS PART OF THE
 FOUNDATION PREPARATION. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE
 FOR THE DESIGN, MAINTENANCE AND OTHER FACTORS TO
 DEWATERING AND GROUNDWATER. TO DATE THE CONTRACTOR HAS
 NOT SUBMITTED A DEWATERING PLAN AND IS AT THERE OWN
 RISK!!!
  
 2014 FBC-B 3303.5 WATER ACCUMULATION. PROVISION SHALL
 BE MADE TO PREVENT THE ACCUMULATION OF WATER OR DAMAGE
 TO ANY FOUNDATIONS ON THE PREMISES OR THE ADJOINING
 PROPERTY.
  
 WITHOUT A DEWATERING PLAN THE SLOPES MAY NOT BE
 MAINTAINED BECAUSE OF THE INTRUSION OF GROUND WATER.
 CONTRACTOR IS AT OWN RISK!!!!
 3304.1.1 SLOPE LIMITS. . CUT SLOPES FOR PERMANENT
 EXCAVATIONS SHALL BE NOT STEEPER THAN ONE UNIT VERTICAL
 IN TWO UNITS HORIZONTAL (50-PERCENT SLOPE). DEVIATION
 FROM THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS FOR CUT SLOPES SHALL BE
 PERMITTED ONLY UPON THE PRESENTATION OF A SOIL
 INVESTIGATION REPORT ACCEPTABLE TO THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL.
