 BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY ESTABLISH THROUGH DEPARTMENTAL
 POLICY, OTHER STANDARDS FOR PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS,
 IN ORDER TO PROVIDE CONFORMITY TO ITS RECORD RETENTION
 PROGRAM.

 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA BUILDING
 CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION:
 107.3.5.1 COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS:
  
 1A) 2ND REQUEST SOILS REPORTS SUBMITTED ARE COPIES THEY
 DO NOT HAVE THE ENGINEERS ORIGINAL SIGNATURE. SOILS
 REPORT: 2014 FBC-B 1803.5.2 QUESTIONABLE SOIL. WHERE
 THE CLASSIFICATION, STRENGTH OR COMPRESSIBILITY OF THE
 SOIL IS IN DOUBT OR WHERE A LOAD-BEARING VALUE SUPERIOR
 TO THAT SPECIFIED IN THIS CODE IS CLAIMED, THE BUILDING
 OFFICIAL SHALL BE PERMITTED TO REQUIRE THAT A
 GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION BE CONDUCTED.
  
 1B) 2ND REQUEST ENERGY CALCULATIONS: 2014 FBC-ENERGY
 CODE. C401.2 APPLICATION. COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS

 2) THIS BUILDING QUALIFIES FOR THE RESIDENT INSPECTOR
 PROGRAM. 2014 WEST PALM BEACH AMENDMENTS TO THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, CHAPTER 1, ADMINISTRATION, 110.3.9 OTHER
 INSPECTIONS SERVICES. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY MAKE,
 OR CAUSE TO BE MADE BY OTHERS, THE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED
 BY SECTION 109. HE/SHE MAY ACCEPT REPORTS OF INSPECTORS
 OF RECOGNIZED INSPECTION SERVICES, PROVIDED THAT AFTER
 INVESTIGATION HE/SHE IS SATISFIED AS TO THEIR
 QUALIFICATIONS AND RELIABILITY. A CERTIFICATE CALLED
 FOR BY ANY PROVISION OF THE TECHNICAL CODES SHALL NOT
 BE BASED ON SUCH REPORTS UNLESS THE SAME ARE IN WRITING
 AND CERTIFIED BY A RESPONSIBLE OFFICER OF SUCH SERVICE.
 THE BUILDING OFFICIAL MAY REQUIRE THE OWNER TO EMPLOY
 AN INSPECTION SERVICE IN THE FOLLOWING INSTANCES:

 5. FOR BUILDINGS WITH AREA GREATER THAN 20,000 SQUARE
 FOOT
 6. FOR BUILDINGS MORE THAN 2 STORIES IN HEIGHT
 7. FOR BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES OF UNUSUAL DESIGN OR
 METHODS OF CONSTRUCTION
 STEEL WELDED FRAMEWORK (BAR JOIST & ROOF DECK).
 RESPONSE: PER THE BUILDING OFFICIAL ROBERT BROWN,
 SPECIAL INSPECTIONS WILL ONLY BE REQUIRED FOR
 STRUCTURAL STEEL WELDING AND BOLTABLE CONNECTIONS.
  
 2A) RESIDENT INSPECTOR FORMS MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL
 PARTIES NOTARIZED AND RETURNED TO THE BUILDING

 SPECIFIED HEREIN. THE BUILDING OFFICIAL OR HIS DESIGNEE
 WILL REVIEW THE RESUME'. AFTER THE RESUME' IS REVIEWED,
 AN INTERVIEW WILL BE SCHEDULED. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES
 WILL AN INSPECTOR BE INTERVIEWED FOR WORK WITHOUT FIRST
