 15) SHEET S-102 SHOWS A GENERIC ROOF TOP DETAIL FOR
 ROOF TOP FRAMING AROUND ROOF TOP OPENINGS. TO DATE
 THERE HAS BEEN NO ROOF TOP CURBS FOR EITHER RTU?S OR
 INTAKE OR EXHAUST FANS SUBMITTED. PLEASE PROVIDE
 DOCUMENTATION FOR ATTACHMENT OF THE CURB TO THE ROOF
 TOP FRAMING AS WELL AS THE ATTACHMENT OF THE RTU OR
 ROOF TOP FAN TO ITS BASE. SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH 2014
 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM
 MATERIAL PROPERTIES. EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED
 TO RESIST THE OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL
 FORCES SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR
 WIND LOADS?
  
 16A) SHEETS A-403A & A-405 BOTH SHOW THE HANDRAIL
 STARTING A HORIZONTAL EXTENSION AT THE FIRST RISER
 CAUSING THE EXTENSION TO BE AT 3 FT. 6 INCHES. NOTE IN
 THE FBC-B SECTION 1012.6 THE HANDRAIL SHALL CONTINUE
 ITS SLOPE PAST THE 1ST RISE THE DISTANCE OF THE TREAD
 BEFORE THE 12 INCH HORIZONTAL EXTENSION STARTS. THE
 HANDRAIL DEPICTED AT THE TOP OF THE STAIR AT 3 FEET
 ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR WILL END UP AT 3 FOOT ABOVE THE
 FINISH FLOOR NOT THE 3 FOOT- 6 INCHES AS SHOWN.
  
 16B) THE DETAILS ON THESE SHEETS INDICATES THE STAIRS
 ARE TO BE PRE-ENGINEERED AND MANUFACTURED AND WITH
 CONCRETE STEEL PAN TREADS. THERE IS NO MENTION OF THE
 RISERS BEING SOLID. 1009.7.5.3 SOLID RISERS.
  
 16C) SHEETS A-403A & A-405 NEITHER OF THESE SHEETS
 PROVIDE A GUARDRAIL DETAIL , SHOW COMPLIANCE WITH:
  
 1013.3 HEIGHT. REQUIRED GUARDS SHALL NOT BE LESS THAN
 42 INCHES (1067 MM) HIGH, MEASURED VERTICALLY AS
 FOLLOWS:
 2. ON STAIRS, FROM THE LINE CONNECTING THE LEADING
 EDGES OF THE TREAD NOSINGS;
  
 1013.4 OPENING LIMITATIONS. REQUIRED GUARDS SHALL NOT
 HAVE OPENINGS WHICH ALLOW PASSAGE OF A SPHERE 4 INCHES
 (102 MM) IN DIAMETER FROM THE WALKING SURFACE TO THE
 REQUIRED GUARD HEIGHT. EXCEPTIONS:
  
 1. FROM A HEIGHT OF 36 INCHES (914 MM) TO 42 INCHES
 (1067 MM), GUARDS SHALL NOT HAVE OPENINGS WHICH ALLOW
 PASSAGE OF A SPHERE 43/8 INCHES (111 MM) IN DIAMETER.
  
 2. THE TRIANGULAR OPENINGS AT THE OPEN SIDES OF A
 STAIR, FORMED BY THE RISER, TREAD AND BOTTOM RAIL SHALL
 NOT ALLOW PASSAGE OF A SPHERE 6 INCHES (152 MM) IN
 DIAMETER.
  
 17) WHEN RESUBMITTING PLANS PLEASE INDICATE THE
 REVISION & REMOVE ANY VOIDED SHEETS & REPLACE ANY PAGES
 AS NECESSARY. A TRANSMITTAL LETTER LISTING THE ORIGINAL
 REVIEW COMMENT NUMBER, WITH A DESCRIPTION OF THE
 REVISION MADE, IDENTIFYING THE SHEET OR SPECIFICATION
