 SPACES SHALL COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE

 OF TITLE IS REQUIRED.
  
 1B) 2ND REQUEST. PLEASE ALSO ON THE SURVEY INDICATE THE
 BOUNDARIES OF THE A7 FLOOD ZONE AND THE FINISHED FLOOR
 ELEVATIONS OF THE BUILDING AND SURROUNDING MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT PADS. IT APPEARS THIS BUILDING LIES IN THE
 FLOOD ZONE. SECTION 94-546 (B)(2) NONRESIDENTIAL
 CONSTRUCTION. PLEASE NOTE THAT A FLOOD ELEVATION
 CERTIFICATE WAS SUBMITTED AND IF THIS RENOVATION IS
 CONSIDERED SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT THEN THE LOWEST
 ELEVATION OF EQUIPMENT SERVING THE STRUCTURE FOUND TO
 BE 11.5 FT. NGVD ON THE ELEVATION CERTIFICATE WILL ALSO
 NEED TO BE ELEVATED TO THE MINIMUM ELEVATION OF 12.5

 FRAMING TO BE ADDED TO A BAR JOIST SYSTEM, M5 NOW SHOWS
 ANCHORING OF THE RTU?S CURB TO A CONCRETE DECK AND
 ANCHORING THE CURB TO THE DECK WITH REDHEADS. HOW IS
 THE DECK PART OF THE MWFRS? 2014 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS.
  
 1ST ROUND OF COMMENTS. SHEET M2 SHOWS ROOFTOP UNITS
 THAT WILL SIT ON ROOF TOP CURBS. NEITHER THE MECHANICAL
 NOR STRUCTURAL SHEETS SHOW HOW THESE UNITS ARE TO BE
 MOUNTED. SHEET M2 NOTE # 1 INDICATES THESE RTU'S ARE
 NEW UNITS. PLEASE PROVIDE FOR THE ADDITIONAL FRAMING
 AROUND THE NEW ROOF TOP PENETRATIONS, IF FRAMING
 MEMBERS WERE CUT, THE REINFORCEMENT AND HOW THE
 ADDITIONAL POINT LOADS WERE HANDLED? PLEASE ALSO
 PROVIDE THE CONNECTION OF THE ROOFTOP CURB TO THE ROOF
 FRAMING MEMBERS, THE ANCHORAGE OF THE RTU TO THE CURB.
  
 2014 FBC-B 1604.4 ANALYSIS. LOAD EFFECTS ON STRUCTURAL
 MEMBERS AND THEIR CONNECTIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED BY
 METHODS OF STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS THAT TAKE INTO ACCOUNT
 EQUILIBRIUM, GENERAL STABILITY, GEOMETRIC COMPATIBILITY
 AND BOTH SHORT- AND LONG-TERM MATERIAL PROPERTIES.
 EVERY STRUCTURE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO RESIST THE
 OVERTURNING EFFECTS CAUSED BY THE LATERAL FORCES
 SPECIFIED IN THIS CHAPTER. SEE SECTION 1609 FOR WIND
 LOADS
  
 2014 FBC-M- 301.15 WIND RESISTANCE. MECHANICAL
 EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES AND SUPPORTS THAT ARE EXPOSED TO
 WIND SHALL BE DESIGNED AND INSTALLED TO RESIST THE WIND
 PRESSURES DETERMINED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FLORIDA
 BUILDING CODE, BUILDING.

 10) THE PROJECT INDICATES A DOLLAR VALUE OF
 $400,000.00. PLEASE PROVIDE A LIST OF ALL ACCESSIBLE
 FEATURES THAT ARE GOING TO BE CORRECTED AND THEIR
 DOLLAR AMOUNT. UP TO $80,000.00 IN VALUE. AT THIS POINT
 THE DISPROPORTIONATE COST HAVE BEEN MET. CONTRACTOR IS

 ALTERED AREA; (III) AT LEAST ONE ACCESSIBLE RESTROOM
 FOR EACH SEX OR A SINGLE UNISEX RESTROOM; (IV)
 ACCESSIBLE TELEPHONES; (V) ACCESSIBLE DRINKING
 FOUNTAINS; AND (VI) WHEN POSSIBLE, ADDITIONAL
 ACCESSIBLE ELEMENTS SUCH AS PARKING, STORAGE, AND

 DISPROPORTIONALITY.
 WHEN THE COST OF ALTERATIONS NECESSARY TO MAKE THE PATH
 OF TRAVEL TO THE ALTERED AREA FULLY ACCESSIBLE IS
 DISPROPORTIONATE TO THE COST OF THE OVERALL ALTERATION,
 THE PATH OF TRAVEL SHALL BE MADE ACCESSIBLE TO THE
 EXTENT THAT IT CAN BE MADE ACCESSIBLE WITHOUT INCURRING
 DISPROPORTIONATE COSTS. IN CHOOSING WHICH ACCESSIBLE
 ELEMENTS TO PROVIDE, PRIORITY SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THOSE
